I couldn’t agree more. People are saying Wilson and Ryan looked bad…and they definitely did. Could it be that they ALSO need more time to recover and game plan, instead of playing on three days rest?

Russ has been missing tons of opportunities all year so I’m not sure how much it had to do with short rest.  It’s hard to blame Ryan because he’s not a very mobile guy and his offensive line was dreadful last night

Did you watch him Thursday before the injury? He flat out doesn't have the arm strength to be above average in nfl. He's going to get further exposed this year as defenses adapt

I don’t think tuas great but they’ve been scheming guys wide open so it hasn’t mattered much.  They’ve been pretty bad at turning yards into points though even with tua (outside of that one quarter against baltimore)

Yeah I want them to lose, but calling the Fins frauds is really bizzare.

They're a decent team with Tua..

There’s not a lot tua can do that bridgewater can’t do…I don’t think they’re gonna fall off much.  They’re probably closer to a 2-2 team than a 3-1 team right now though…it’s pretty tough to get that lucky two games in a row like they did in the ravens and bills games

they’ve got an easy schedule until a brutal 4 week stretch where they play SF,LAC,BUF on the road then GB at home so I don’t think they’re going away for awhile.  They’re probably going 1-3 at best in that stretch of games once they hit that part of the schedule though and the wheels will start to come off then

There's no agenda.  The fact some here hate the idea that one would question McD is quite funny.

2020 btw they were 5-1, however as stated two were the result of last 2 minute TD's by Miami & Raiders (backdoor covers), which mean very little.  They beat LA Rams, NE & Indy in the playoffs (again had a 14 point lead in the fourth, won by 3).

The 0-7 were all games they had the ball with a chance to win late in the 4th (or OT), which is a huge difference.

This isn't a deep dive, it is facts.  The Bills are one of the 5 best teams in the NFL 2020-2022.  I expect better.

But I guess that concept is way over some of your heads?

Are you claiming the Indy playoff game wasn’t that close? Lol the colts had a late drive to outright win the game.

I still don’t really understand why we’re holding it against our team for winning by more points.  Those razor thin winning margins you’re talking about after negating the ‘back door covers’ have just as much to do with luck as skill…which is why you usually see that metric even out over time.

example: we dominated Miami and lost and baltimore played us very tough and we won.

He's the worst #2 RB in the NFL, I seriously believe that.  I want to see Cook get touches, we are going into 5 games into the season and he's had what? 15 snaps?  That's unacceptable for a 2nd round RB.  KC has a 7th rounder out there grinding away.

Idk how y’all can blame a running back when we have had the worst run blocking in the league by a mile this season. The kc offensive line is so far ahead of how our offensive line has been playing so far…cook or moss would be running wild for the chiefs right now

Josh isn't gonna be around long without someone that he can hand it to that will bang it up in there. The offensive line isn't bad. They back fit the rushing numbers. Too many variables these graphs are useless

We are the worst ranked offensive line in run blocking by a mile in the chart that this thread is about lol no one is even remotely close to as bad.

could be partly a product of who we played though.  LA and TEN have tough front 7s then we played Miami missing 5 offensive linemen by halftime

Wait, other teams outside the Bills have injuries they have to deal with?  🤣

Based on some of the posters on this site you would think only Bills players get injured.

Giants have a great coach. He gets the most out of his team.  Can't help but wonder if the Bills would have been better off with him running the show.

Your point relies on the giants beating the ravens with a third string qb lol otherwise,  you’re gonna prove the other sides point that injuries can lead to your team losing a game.   That’s a bold move and best of luck to you!

on top of that, I’d argue missing like 11 starters like we were against the dolphins is much tougher to overcome than downgrading from Daniel jones to Davis Webb

  8. I popped on the dolphins Reddit and my goodness are they delusional about the whole tua thing.  Apparently they are the victim of the NFLPA trying to make an example of someone…according to them

The Bills are not championship caliber yet.  They are still just playoff caliber.  They need to play all 4 quarters.  The Chiefs game in 2 weeks will tell us a ton about the Bills.  Teams like the Chiefs are not teams like the Ravens. Teams like the Ravens disappear late. Teams like the Chiefs will beat you if you don't play a complete game.  We will know all we need to know about the Bills in 2 weeks.  Are they going to continue being a playoff caliber team or are they going to make the jump to championship caliber.  The talent is there.  Not sure the coaching is.

You could say the same thing about the chiefs so by your definition I don’t think there is a Super Bowl caliber team…it’s pretty rare that a team absolutely blows the doors off somebody for 4 straight quarters.  It’s a game of adjustments.

the chiefs destroyed two teams and didn’t look very good in their other win.  Chargers were dominating against them and Herbert just made that huge mistake on the pick 6 in the end zone.

I don’t even think the chiefs game will tell us much it’s still very early in the season. We spanked the chiefs in a similar situation last year then hit a rough patch

Which team's plan does not include hitting the opposing QB as often as possible?

Every teams is…the ravens went too far with it though is what that sentence was saying.  I’m sure josh/ the bills were lobbying for calls all game so I’m not at all surprised a questionable call went our way.  He was getting hit late/in the head pretty often in that game

13 seconds has everything to do with him still being here.

If the Bills come thru and win the SB, he will be as good as gone.

Probably equal parts his previous failed head coaching gig.  Most guys don’t get multiple chances anymore.  Teams seem more likely to look for a young guy these days than give a retread another shot.

The Bills got the balance of the favorable calls yesterday.  Next day ref threads are stale right off the bus...

I’m not sure they did but they got the last one which is all anybody remembers.  And that last call was more of a culmination of the ravens clearly making it their gameplan to hit josh as often as they could a lot of which were late and uncalled throughout the game.

the refs were certainly not good but they were bad for both teams

How many adjustments do you think they have time to make? They barely have enough time to go to the bathroom at halftime 💩

Clearly they are playing much better in the 2nd half of games but I don't know if you can adjust THAT much given the time constraints. They need to play better to start the game because I doubt this 2nd half run will be able to withstand through the entire season. In game adjustments in the 1st half would be nice to see

The coaches have plenty of time to discuss strategic adjustments in the playcalling…there’s not a whole lot of time to address the players though

We need to start allowing more garbage time TDs or simply get blown out here and there.

I am still struggling to understand how winning often and winning big while rarely losing but losing small when we do is a criticism.  It would be a valid criticism if these close losses were due to big mistakes or 4th quarter meltdowns but many were the opposite.  Like Steelers, Jags, Dolphins when we looked like crap all game and  almost finished the comeback in the final minute.  Or the Bucs game where a huge comeback was ruined by a missed PI in the end zone.  Or going for the win against the Titans rather than leave the game up to a coin toss in OT.   I guess you could cite Hail Murray and 13 seconds as "big mistakes".  Its arguable.

It’s a silly criticism of a team that won 11 games…for a team with a losing record that doesn’t win a lot of two score games it’s more meaningful

That one wasn't called because he let him go "just in time". I agree with the poster who said there is holding on every play, they usually only call the obvious ones that maintain the hold instead of releasing.  That being said, stop posting on this site while you are in class and put your phone away.  Oh, and make sure you eat your carrots at lunch today...

He held him for a looong time haha I think overall in the game they missed an equal number of holds for both teams but this one just had to be called imo

I apologize for the horrible screenshot, may have been brought up and it's moot now... but would this not be offensive PI?

The ridiculous play on that 3rd and long that Lamar got out of, Andrews tipped the ball to Bateman.... Andrews was all over the back of Milano way before the ball ever got there. Seems like offensive PI.

(tried to highlight the ball with yellow)

I had to go back and take a pic of this with my phone during the commercial break. I was in SHOCK there were TWO officials right there watching and neither threw a flag. The Ravens held EVERY DAMN PLAY

That looks fine to me because both players have a right to try to catch the football…absolutely massive play by Andrews on that one.  That’s gonna be talked about one of the great Lamar plays rather than a terrible decision because Andrews was able to deflect that ball.

The hold in the bottom pic was probably the most obvious hold I’ve ever seen.
