Still think kc wins this. This is very similar to the 9ers/kc superbowl. Assuming Mahomes can play..
score wise maybe but the eagles are dominating in the trenches and they have much bigger receiving threats than that 49ers team had

We would have thrown the last two into the end zone for incompletions.
Which wouldve been smarter than what the eagles did ironically haha

Im pretty vocal about our shortcomings and frustrations with the roster right now, but I don’t think it’s outlandish to think we could be playing today with the 1 seed path of Bye, Jax, KC. We match up with KC much better than CIN this year.I’ve been saying that for awhile now…we’re in the afc championship if we got the 1 seed. Might’ve ran into cincy in that alternate reality though and the eagles would’ve been a big uphill battle even if we made it to the superbowl lol

Wasn't Hurts 2nd in MVP voting? Has team in SB?
Hurts and Allen both had one vote haha come on now. Not sure that is relevant to the discussion
That’s my biggest pet peeve in football discussions lol…a team isn’t just a qb. The eagles are one of the most complete teams in football the last quite a few years. Great receivers, great offensive line, strong running game. If you gave that to josh he’d be absolutely unstoppable.
on paper the chiefs aren’t even close to the eagles and the chiefs have the best qb in football.

KC is nothing when Mahomes can’t run.
They’re nothing if you can collapse the pocket which is very hard to do nowadays with their offensive line but the eagles pass rush is startin to heat up. This is startin to look like the TB Super Bowl

Nah he’s Josh Allen with a better line on a rookie deal.
Hurts is nowhere near josh Allen

It's funny the Eagle 4th downs don't feel at all like Brandon Staley wackiness but rather complete ass-kicking confidence
They make 3rd down calls with the assumption they’re going for it on 4th…pretty easy to do on 3rd and medium with the best offensive line in football

Weve never seen the bills run like this
I think we’re just more critical of our own team…even in this season which was a downer for the offensive line josh/singletary/cook averaged 5.32 ypc

Watching this game shows just how far behind the bills are when it comes to offensive innovation.
Innovation on offense is a lot easier when you have offensive linemen that can actually block lol we’re watching two of the best offensive lines in football right now.

The worst part of that turnover and TD is having to sit through more commercials.
Non bills football games are nearly unwatchable now because of this lol

A gift? as in 1?
If we are talking about the football then sure, if we include the refs it's usually about 4 gifts per game.
I meant mostly unforced fumbles exclusively lol

Next year you will be full of more excuses...
I just don’t see how that’s even excuses…take Chris jones away from the chiefs/take mahomes’ throwing elbow away and they have no shot at a Super Bowl.

Correction. I'm a disappointed Bills fan. Pretty sure I'm not the only one.
I think you’re pretty close to the only one that thinks we are substantially worse than either of these teams. I’m sure there’s people that think we are not good enough to beat 3-4 teams of this quality in a row to win the Super Bowl.
Especially considering we beat one of them this season.
nfl playoffs is single elimination…takes luck and skill. Too much adversity this year. Qb playing hurt, gamechanging pass rusher hurt. Star corner slowly getting back to game speed, both starting safeties hurt (one played through a litany of injuries). Key defensive lineman hurt for the bengals game. Games moved last second, a player nearly dying on the field. It was a tough season but we’ll be back

Someone on the right side of the Eagles line has started early twice now
Refs seem to really help out offensive lines the last few years. Just need to find some guys that are good enough to hold without it being super obvious 😂

I mean, I get "critical" Bills fans. But he's here to talk everyone out of having any hope.
We were snakebit this year with injuries and all kinds of things out of our control and still had a heck of a season. We’re gonna be right up there in the Super Bowl odds next year that are set by people that get payed to analyze the nfl lol I’d take their word over a patriots fan pretending to be a bills fan on a message board 😂

Keep telling yourself lies as the Bills consistently fizzle out early in the playoffs. Just the facts for six years straight with Allen.
How is that a lie? Lol we are 2-1 against the chiefs at arrowhead in the last 3. Completely factual information.

No way are the Bills in the same league at these two teams. I couldn't disagree more. Both teams have top notch offensive lines, dynamic pass catches, and a better scheme on both sides of the ball by miles.
The Bills team us second class to both teams.
It’s all matchups…at full ish strength I like our matchup with the chiefs. If that coin falls the other way a few years ago were 3-0 against the chiefs in arrowhead in the last 3.
eagles might be the most complete roster in the nfl in the last few years. Every team is second rate to them on paper but it’s a one game playoff in the superbowl so who knows what would’ve happened
chiefs don’t really have dynamic pass catchers outside of Kelce and their defense revolves around Chris jones entirely

Watching the game - I fully feel like the Bills could be out there, and even w/ our flaws, compete for the title. We're no better or worse than either of these teams.
So much of it is getting hot "at the right time." I don't know how a team does that - but we got hot too early. We need to be in this game next year
I like the optimism but with a healthy von I still think we would’ve struggled with the eagles. Chiefs are a better matchup for us imo

Rousseau was great this season but he had 0 help after von went down. Cook averaged 5+ ypc which makes singletary expendable. Knox would be good if he didn’t have to block so much to account for a horrible offensive line. Elam had some great games down the stretch. I think the bitter end is clouding people’s judgement…not that I blame anyone 😂
I think people are still not really accounting for us being good and our first pick being in the late first every year rather than early/mid first

I thought the same thing, but someone recently mentioned to me that is a penalty AND the time can be put back on the clock!
Recently? 😁 we’ve been saying that since the chiefs bills game last year lol

Here are the players who played the most defensive snaps against the Bengals:
Lawson
Rousseau
Oliver
Settle
Milano
Edmunds
Johnson
Elam
White
Marlowe
Poyer
Poyer and White were clearly less than 100%. There is not a DC in the history of the league who could take that group of players and consistently slow down Burrow, Mixon, Chase, Higgins, Boyd, and Hurst. Had Von, Hyde, Poyer, and White all been available and close to 100%, it’s a different conversation. Instead, Frasier brought a knife to a gun fight.
Snakebit season….three most important players to this defense either out or playing hurt. Safety depth was a huge issue
no Daquan jones in that bengals game either
I can’t blame people for seeing it as making excuses after that disappointing loss but over time maybe it will be viewed differently

Bengals are way ahead of us is what i took from this season and it’s not really close. Lots of work to do to catch up to them.
Give us von back and their offensive linemen back and replace saffold with someone that can actually play football and it’s close imo
our defensive scheme relies pretty heavily on good safety play and pressuring with 4 and the three most important players were hurt (poyer played through it). Our dline was dominant with von playing and then a switch flipped when he went down…it’s like it the chiefs lost chris jones. They’d be dead in the water
I feel like we all knew it was over when we lost von but some of us like me lied to ourselves for awhile 😂

The Bills are not equal or better than the Eagles team at any position, including players, coaches and team ownership. Sorry but that game today was proof. They destroyed the 49er's....It would have not mattered who was QB1 for the 49er's. Also Josh Allen can not be the entire team known as the Buffalo Bills. That model has show to be a losing philosophy. Since 2017 and counting the Bills are 4 and 5 in their post season games, that is all that matters, they are not championship caliber and never will be, with out a major coaching overhaul and personal change on the O line and D Line.
Most important position goes to us and it’s not even that close imo…eagles are without a doubt the more complete team though so I agree with the general point of your post still 😁
it is straight up mindboggling what josh was able to do with virtually no offensive line this season. Saffold was absolutely dreadful

I don’t think the chiefs are built well for playoff runs…someone just gotta stop them from getting the 1 seed for f*** sake which is gonna be hard if they keep sweeping their division lol
that defense gets picked apart when they can’t get pressure and they’ve really only got chris jones as far as passrushers go
That’s kind of the trade off when you’re so heavily invested in qb/offensive line. Mahomes is good enough to elevate mediocre receivers but they don’t have a lot of help on the defensive side
