But I was told by posters on TBD that it was John Brown's fault. How can they be wrong? 🤔

I think both things can be true…the play isn’t ‘designed’ to go to brown but the wide receivers/josh have plans in place for what they should do when a play goes off script.

looked like brown ran a bit of a double move late that josh wasn’t expecting

Reality is that Allen isn't a god QB who can carry a team on his back - at least consistently. His inaccuracy and careless/reckless tendencies can't sustain winning particularly in the post-season. He needs talent/scheme built around him to maximize his athleticism and throwing ability (which on its face are elite). Beane's recent decisions regarding the OL and offensive skill positions have failed Allen.

He only really seems to take the risks when nothing else is working so I think you are completely wrong about this honestly 😂

the risks usually come on the opponents side of the field when he’s trying to hammer in tds instead of field goals.  How many of his ints were on our own side of the field giving up great field position this season?  I can hardly think of any.

he’s as close to a god qb as anyone in the league…you have said in your own post he doesn’t have any help and he’s certainly putting up numbers sooooo

I heard him say that too.  And that the pressure is all on the Bills.

Listen,  I don't care if Cincinnati's O-line was 100% healthy for this game.  This is a must-win for the Bills and I expect them to win.  The Championship window ain't going to stay open indefinitely.  The time is now.  It's a Super Bowl or bust season and we've known that from game 1.

How is the pressure only on one team in a single elimination scenario anyway lol cowherd is a dolt. You think the players on the underdog team are like ‘well we were a small underdog so who cares’ 😂

TJ Houshmandzadeh said that the Bengals Left tackle is a former 2nd round pick from Clemson and he's pretty good.  He thinks the guy will hold up.

The thing for me is not only are they missing 3 offensive linemen, but one of the starters they aren’t missing is bad.  It’s not like Miami who had Connor Williams and terron armstead playing last week. Volson is probably the worst player on that offensive line when they’re all healthy.

Miami had two bad/terrible offensive linemen hurt so they swapped in guys that were not much worse but they still had their two stalwart guys

Question, are tickets being sold for Arrowhead and potentially Highmark stadium as well? I don't believe it is rigged but if they aren't selling those tickets then what are they basing it off of? Probability?

They most definitely are lol. Tickets for the potential afc championship game in buffalo are real expensive on all the reseller sites

    it happens all the time

sharp bettors bet lines not teams. They also love to push the line one way early in the week and then hammer the opposite side right before the game when it’s more favorable. It’s called a “head fake”

The volume is getting high and there were a few absolutely gigantic bets on the bills so i think you can completely rule this out for the bills bengals game.

pretty tough to counter the ‘sharps think the bills are going to win’ argument in this one

It's amazing how 9 minutes of a  football game that ultimately did not count is outweighing the past 2 months of football.  The Bengals oline is beat up.  They'll be starting 3 backup OL guys, a rookie LG, and an average Center.  It's going to be loud as hell and the Bills will likely crowd the line of scrimmage at times to create confusion and miscommunication with the Bengals oline.  If the Bills execute and play their game - they win.

Yea for real…the  argument makes no sense…if the bills knew the game was going to ‘end’ in a few minutes they would’ve gone for that 4th and short and the game likely would’ve been tied.

we were also getting the second half kickoff so we had a double dip chance

Yes, Allen was terrific in the playoffs last year in two games. And this year, he’s reverted right back to the erratic inconsistency that preceded those two playoff games. Best QB hype was gone by November.

Meanwhile, Mahomes yawned his way to another MVP. There’s a reason he gets more respect…

    …because he’s not erratically inconsistent.

Josh sat about a full game due to being on the bench during blowouts, played one less game, had 6 or so more games of terrible weather than mahomes had, played in a sling several weeks due to an elbow injury,  and is protected by a significantly worse offensive line than mahomes.

Despite all of that, he finished with 3 less tds and 500 or so less total yards than mahomes did.

if mvp actually meant most valuable player, josh would win it every year. But it is just an on paper stats award.

Lamar had 13 INTs in 11 games last year...and everyone was calling for him to be MVP.

The Chiefs lost two games this year with Mahomes throwing game ending picks with a chance to win. He single handedly cost them the AFCCG last year when he turned into Nathan Peterman at halftime.

I've been plenty critical of Allen but the talk this week re him and the Bills is out of control.

I think a lot of it is we came into the season as a favorite so we’re not as fun of a team to talk about for these analyst people

Flawed logic here. The Bengals aren't the Bills. Plus, the Bengals have vast experience playing with a poor oline. Sure it's not an ideal or great situation. The Bengals went to the Super Bowl with a terrible Oline. Lastly, the Bills just played a Miami team that had practice squad players on their Oline. The Dolphins oline might be worse than the Bengals current Oline. The Bills Dline was somewhat disappointing vs Miami. They have to play better be Cinci.

The bengals oline last year is an all pro squad compared to what they’ll likely have Sunday.  Not saying they won’t find a way to gut out a win but come on now lol

also Miami had two great offensive linemen Connor Williams and terron armstead.  If you’ve got a few guys that you know can reliably hold up in one on one matchups it gets a lot easier to gameplan around having a couple bad players.

cincy will have one mediocre olinemen and then the rest are bad.

Miami keeps a ton of extra guys in to block too…they run heavier packages than cincy.  If cincy wants to do the same to help their oline out  they will have to sacrifice some routes from skill position players.

He was 18 for 45 220 yards.  Sacked 4 times for 31 yards.  2 interceptions and hit 11 times.  Each Bills D line guy had 2 QB pressures on him. He threw some nice balls during the game that were dropped but the Bills also had 10 passes defended.  Miami's offense had one decent drive all game that resulted in a touchdown.  Too many short fields allowed Miami to hang in the game plus the defensive TD.  Bills defense played pretty well.

That throw he made with Milano rushing free up the middle late in the game was ridiculous.  Hopefully no bengals fans misquote me here I’m not tryin to say Skylar is better than tua 😂…but there’s no way tua makes that throw.

defense played great…Milano and edmunds were flying all over the field plugging running lanes and disrupting passing lanes.  Secondary held hill and waddle in check.  Score was high because each team just got so many drives.  220 yards allowed and 2 offensive tds (one of which was a very short field) is very impressive

Skylar deserves a lot of credit for buying himself extra time when the pocket broke down

Sorry I dont agree that he was pressured all game.  He had 45 attempts and a lot of them had all day to throw the ball.

It’s a function of miamis blocking scheme…they use heavier packages than most and keep extra blockers in a lot.  That’s why they fell out of love with gesicki because he can’t really block. Thompson was pressured a lot considering how much resources they commit to blocking up front.

Also connor Williams and Terron Armstead are great offensive linemen

especially with the injuries they have going on, cincy doesn’t really have anyone above average.  You can gameplan around missing an offensive linemen or two when you have some dependable guys that can win their one on one matchups, but I’m not sure cincy has that.

Comparing the pass rush vs the dolphins to pass rush vs bengals next week is apples and oranges.

Not really. You have to make the point that Cincinnati scored a touchdown and the Bills kicked a field goal at the 3. If the bills knew the game would be over in less than a minute because one of their players died on the field they would have went for it and probably had a pretty good chance to score a TD. Other than that silly argument. The bills got screwed worse than Cincinnati . The Bills were the #1 seed. If they win that game & Patriots game they have a bye last week. They lost a lot more

It’s crazy how much losing a chance at the 1 seed screwed the bills.  We’ve gotta go Miami -> cincy -> kc now to get to the superbowl rather than bye -> Jacksonville -> one of kc/cincy

It was awesome today listening to Chris Trapasso contradict everything that Howard and Jeremy were saying all week about Allen being too aggressive.

After actually WATCHING THE ALL-22 he concluded that Allen largely made good decisions throwing deep and that the Bills should lean into it if teams want to do that.

Said there wasn’t a lot of open receivers short and because of the pressure Allen made plays.

Our media and HC McDermott are sickening quite frankly always talking about reining it in and playing safer.

Beane, bypass McDermott and get Josh more skill talent and Line.

Dorsey has the right idea, not our bozo media.

People just want to be right about their previous criticisms.  Allen has forced balls deep in the past but the Miami game was clearly not a good example of that at all.

im really hoping cincy tries to man us up the same way as Miami  but I doubt they will.

Does it not seem kind of strange the NFL made concessions for a Baltimore-Cincy playoff game possibility(coin flip if Baltimore won week 18), a KC-Buffalo playoff game concession(neutral site if they meet in the AFCCG) but not a Cincinnati-Buffalo playoff game concession when those were the two actual teams affected most?

I can't blame the Bengals and Bengal fans for feeling like they got screwed in this whole thing. They kinda did.

The bills were a win ahead with the same amount of games played…concessions were for teams with an unequal number of games

The bills bengals game never officially happened
