Let's complain some more about how bad the man who drafted Josh Allen is. You're pathetic, Fins fan.
This is really embarrassing. Contribute to the discussion or go back to your binkie.

Then leave. You're not a Bills fan if all you do is complain about the team.
So juvenile. Sit this one out while the adults speak lmao

That is why they needed a good wr in any of the last few drafts. Diggs is either a cancer or was in the decline. But we don’t need a plan. Makes no sense. That is the issue. Not Diggs.
Correct. I have been screaming draft a WR since 2021. It was obvious except for the Carolina boys.

Of course
But not having a plan in place to address an aging malcontent wr falls on management imo
They didn’t even have a plan for DAVIS, who everyone knew was gonna be gone. I don’t even think they negotiated with him much.
They had no plan for Poyer/Hyde either, unless you count Rapp the bandaid they only brought in after Micah’s head was falling off.
They have done a terrible job keeping the talent pipeline flowing, except maybe at LB and CB.

You can blame diggs for a lot of things but roster construction is not one of them
I will agree to a point that Diggs’ exit probably accelerated how bad the lack of succession plan was. But the Bills have sucked at their succession plans for the 2020 stars since.. well… 2020.
Beane drafts a decent WR last year or two years ago and we are feeling much more comfortable with Coleman/Samuel/Shakir filling out the rest of the room.

Yea he’s a TE that is going to dominate the middle of the field like gronkowski, Kelce, and cooper cupp. You know the players the last 8 superbowls winners have gone through. Tell me how many superbowls Jefferson and chase have won?
Lmao Kincaid is gonna be a HoF top 3 TE all time? Oookay

Why would we be drafting WRs high when they had Diggs and other serviceable players? They also drafted Kincaid high last year and again this year. What are you crying about?
Kincaid is a TE.
Why would we draft a WR high when Diggs was 29 and Gabe Davis had one foot out the door? Is that a serious question?
Why did the Cowboys draft an LT in the first when they had Tyron Smith?

For the record, I’m not upset about the WR room.
The vision Beane had for this offense in 2024 simplified:
Diggs
Coleman
Shakir
Samuel
Then add all our draft picks except the Duke DT and you’d have our team. Pretty dang good.
But this organization was thrown into mini turmoil bc of Stefon Diggs. Period. If your take is “Beane has neglected WR and this is what happens” you’re just wrong.
Diggs was supposed to give us 2024 and 2025.
He quit (as we know now) at the end of 2022 and throughout 2023.
I refuse to trash Beane over the WR room that was supposed to include Stefon in the plan until he tapped out and quit.
Quite frankly, I’m sick of the fan base rushing to defend Diggs over the GM that oversaw the construction of this perennial SB contenders roster.
It’s embarrassing.
I’ll be rooting for Coleman and Shakir harder than I’ve rooted for 2 Bills WRs. And if we need more ammo I trust Beane, whose cap is all screwed up this year bc of Stefon, will find more ammo.
Go Bills!Beane could’ve drafted WR’s since 2018 and hasn’t.
Then he wouldn’t have had to extend Diggs desperately in 2022. Something that gave Diggs tremendous leverage in 2022 and 2023.
He did neglect the WR room for multiple seasons, and is still neglecting it and Josh is going to pay for it when his career ends at 31 like Cam Newton.

To @Logic’s point.
what is the biggest need on the Bills roster today?
WR.
what was it 3 days ago?
WR.
That’s unacceptable.

Rooting for your franchise guy to miss the season with a potentially career altering injury is certainly a takeI didn’t say rooting. But I do think it may increase his SB championship odds.

As it should be unless we finish like 4-13I’m approaching the opinion that the best thing for Josh Allen’s career is to tweak an ankle, miss the season and let Beane and McD get exposed and fired when they win 2 games and reset with a high draft pick and new organization.

First off having the balls to let all the old guard go that he could, instead of trying to patch things up and put the bill on the credit card.
This is a joke right?
The old guard aged themselves off the roster. Hyde and Poyer were old two years ago. Beane couldn’t secure a succession plan through the draft, necessitating a 2nd rounder at S to walk in and START.
Beane gave Diggs the massive contract 2 years before his deal was up. He signed Von Miller. He literally CREATED the cap problems.
Sure, Morse was getting older and that was a tough decision, but IOL is worse without him. Again, BECAUSE of Beane.
He accomplished trying to fix the roster he ***** up lmao

I give Beane an A grade to date for the job he's done over the last two months. We weren't in a position to force anything. Instead, we made lemonade out of lemons. I really don't think you guys are giving him the credit he deserves for what he just pulled off.
All this angst is mostly just fans getting pissed because they want to see a team specifically built around Josh, and Beane didn't do that this time. We opted to address teamwide needs rather than just wideout needs. And BTW, drafting your center of the future because you had the foresight to trade back IS building around Josh.
Saying this team is in transition is just stating the obvious. I like that he isn't trying to fake sell us on anything.
What exactly did he pull off?

And we have neither of those things. And they didn’t lose the Super Bowl to the Giants because they traded a 4th for Randy Moss. And, in summation, your point is really bad

Gross. Embarrassing. And done with complete and total job security.
Any chance of canning Beane/McD and getting fresh life in 2025 died today.

Didn’t we take a TE in the 1st RD last year and a WR this year ?
This is the “we’ve tried to find QB’s enough by picking EJ, Trent and Losman over the last 9 years” argument redux lol

And how many ST plays has Hodgins made?
Honest question, WGAF.
There’s STers everywhere.
I want my WR’s to be able to play WR, personally. I know I know, radical concept.

I mean this was considered one of the deepest WR drafts ever, so yes I hoped we would use that opportunity to double dip. I am still very much against the safety and RB picks where we made them but it is what it is.
If it's announced that we're trading for Aiyuk post-6/1 I won't have any complaints though. Adding a player of his caliber AND a 1st round (close enough) WR in the same offseason would be the smartest thing Beane has done since drafting Allen.
Tell ‘em Hap!

Cuz backend WRs like Isiah Hodges are much more valuable?
I’m not talking about fifth rounders.
But yes, he is still more valuable than Trent Sherfield and Mack Hollins. Hodgins already has more 200+ yard seasons than Sherfield does on 3 less years lol

Sure and that's why I said the Double Down in the DRAFT was a pipe dream.
We definitely need to add another, but it will be a vet. Not a draft pick. And was always going to be the case with our Defensive needs from the draft.
that plan was always stupid then.
Why double dip on the second most valuable position on cheap rookie deals that directly benefits from an elite QB in the best WR draft in half a decade?
Because we need core STer’s!
