Everyone talks about the draft. Cheap-cost controlled players. Great places to get super-talented guys that you otherwise would not be able to fit in the salary cap. Woah, what a coincidence, the WR market has exploded. Guys who have proven to be just PRODUCTIVE at the NFL level are getting gigantic contracts. Man, wouldn’t it be nice to have a couple more WR’s who can be productive in this offense, step up in case of injury, and be great insurance when our WR’s start to walk in FA? Maybe guys that when the offense isn’t working, we could depend on to beat the #3 or #4 CB on the other team for a couple plays? NAH. Let’s get more Boogie’s and Elam’s. Our QB doesn’t need any other receiving talent. We paid for a TE to run routes at the LOS and drafted another TE to run routes next to him in parallel. I mean, who needs another player like George Pickens? Not our offense, we put up 7 through 3 quarters.
