No he hasn't.  He has put up what I call "fluff stats" during the regular season ( at least until the 2nd half of23') . Where has he been when it mattered? KC,Cincinnati,Playoffs?  He has been taken out of the game and or just disappeared.  I don't want to hear him say he wishes he had the deep ball drop back.  I want this alleged #1, all pro to make the damn catch.

He is a #2 at best when the stakes are biggest, but paid like a #1.   Beane needs to take the hit and get what he can for him.

And Josh doesn't need Diggs anymore.  He isn't a 2nd year player, he is a veteran going into his 7th season.  He doesn't need a "Diggs" to hold his hand or help him develop any longer.

So by your own thinking Diggs value has never been lower, so why would they trade him now? You don’t get “what you can” for him, if you trade him it’s because you are getting some value back, otherwise keep him. Getting “what you can” will tank this team a lot sooner than keeping him will. He’s a distraction, so what? Literally every other top receiver in the league is a distraction too

You know what would be funny?

If Diggs was actually totally happy here (like he’s said) and planned on retiring here (like he’s said) and was a great teammate (like players have said).

Yet the constant BS from the sports media and seemingly 50% of the fan base that fall for it made him decide to go elsewhere. He would probably never have a good thing to say about ‘Bills Mafia’ after, and rightfully so.

I wonder how poorly past athletes would be viewed if social media was around when they played. Think of those Bills teams that went to the Super Bowl-they weren't good dudes. Even in other sports, I guarantee you Michael Jordan would not be as revered and worshipped like he is. Outstanding competitor but countless stories of him being an extreme POS. Sometimes fans believing they should have all of this access to the players is not a good thing

the fact that this admittedly ambiguous gesture after yet another dismal postseason performance is like not even in the top5 reasons im down on Diggs should in itself be rationale enough

i mean how many times can you keep saying 'he didn't mean it like THAT' before you maybe reconsider your position

Why is this picture the thing you’re willing to defend to the death? You are literally the only person who thinks it is Diggs blaming Allen.

This crusade you’re on is really weird. Most of these posts of yours have been filled with so much conjecture and your personal feelings on it that you want taken as fact. We got it, you don’t like the guy and for some reason want him gone

    You think these are equivalent😂😂

Why aren’t you showing pics or clips of the literally dozens of times he has been on the sidelines hyping up Josh and the team? You show the one time he put his hands up in frustration. Also, how are the Chiefs situations different then in your opinion? Kelce shoved his coach!! So I guess you’re right, they aren’t equivalent, the Chiefs things are MUCH worse

This is such a a bad take. It's like only big name players like TO or nothing.

Player development is a thing. Guys emerge from PS or low draft picks to become solid players.

Hodgins has been injured. He has trouble staying healthy, but lots of solid flashes. He's closer to Stevie Johnson than he is Duke Williams.

I like the player and think he would be a decent option to come into a camp and fight for a roster spot. He's a solid vet.

The thing is though he doesn't show a lot of promise, like, at all.  The most receiving yards he had in a game this past season was 40 yards, that's it.  The previous year he had 1 game with 89 yards, his next highest was 42 yards.  There have been no flashes at all, he just caught a handful of touchdowns.  People are just overreacting here because of those couple of touchdowns and now they think we missed out on some sort of gem

    Correct.

It wound up looking pretty bad, though, because he was out there producing in a big, WR1 kind of way for the Giants, while the Bills were forced to sign the corpses of John Brown and Cole Beasley for their playoff run. Many Bills fans were livid at the time. You'd have thought we let prime Herman Moore walk out the door.

As it turned out, sanity prevailed, Hodgins' Linsanity streak was short-lived, and now he's looking for work.

Life is tough as a WR4/WR5 type in the NFL when you don't play special teams.

He never produced like a WR1 though. People just overreacted here because he scored a handful of touchdowns and caught the ball. The amount that his production was overblown was ridiculous

Did it for his controlling wife. I don't blame him.

Yeah, it’s super weird that him and his wife had a discussion about where he was going to play next….like literally every other married player in the league. Obviously we have never heard of a player at the end of his career sign with the team in the city he lives in 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

and he's won a grand total of 1 playoff game in that timespan. 🤷‍♂️

Look at the Vikings defensive stats in those playoff games…the losses have very little to do with Cousins. As Bills fans we should be one of the last groups to throw out QB playoff wins without any context whatsoever

I've posted a thread on this topic and irt was met with major criticism. I still believe he is a top WR in the NFL when properly motivated. My take is this he quit on the team. He has been griping about the way the team is run for 2 years now. I think he has a problem with Mcdermott's coaching style and possibly his personality . He has seen his coach lose to the Chiefs in the playoffs 3 years now. One of which was a heartbreaking, stunning loss when they had the lead with 13 seconds left in the game. IN the Philly game. this past season, he took himself out of the game on several occasions on third down with the game on the line. The offense is totally different and much easier to defend without him on the filed. People tried to tell  me he was winded or hurt. He is a well conditioned top athlete and prides himself on offseason training. The guy has a work ethic unmatched by a lot NFL players. He is not going to take himself out of the game because he is out of winded. You can see it his body language. He wasn't going all out for balls and had several uncharacteristic drops in the final 8 games of the season. Was he injured? He was never on any injury report. Correct me if i am wrong but that is illegal in the NFL for an injured player to practice all week and play without being on an injury report. His brother has been dissing the Bills and is probably constantly in his ear to get out of Buffalo. I simply believe he has become disenchanted with the team and wants out of Buffalo. The only way to do that is to force a trade by not giving your all in games and by giving hints you want out. This is the only thing that makes sense to me.

Has he though? Honest question, has he personally been griping? Or is it more people’s perceptions and saying he has been griping?

  10. The screens behind the LOS drove me crazy!  They weren't taking advantage of Stef's biggest asset, which is his route running ability.  Perhaps his struggles the second half of the season make teams focus on him less, at least at the beginning of the season, and it allows him to get into a groove.  I do think he was more beat up than he let on and it had an impact

if you want input into team operations you do.

And people are welcome to their own opinions opinion cop.

You absolutely can have your own opinion, not sure why you got so offended.  Josh taking a pay cut is bad business - not just for him but for all of the players.  If he takes a pay cut, what's to stop every team from going to any player and saying they need to take a pay cut as well?  Josh's job is to play QB, it's the front office's job to figure out the contracts.  Does Josh want to give his input?  Of course!  So does Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert, Rodgers (clearly).....pretty much every top QB wants to give their input, doesn't mean they should take less money because of that.

All I'm saying is let the front office do the job they are paid to do

Don't worry our generational talented QB has a new Center who played 100 snaps at Center while in Dallas.  Allen is in great hands.  And, don’t tell me there wasn’t anyway Beane could have found a way to keep a team Captain who said as he cleaned out his locker that he wanted to come back.  Makes you wonder what he’d have taken.  Especially when you throw Trubisky a nice back-up QB contract—maybe we’re planning for an OL breakdown next season.

Trubisky got $5 million for 2 years-I’m guessing that’s one of the lower back up contracts.

If Allen was that concerned he could take a cut, not a restructure, to keep him even if they tried new center.

If you’re the franchise QB you don’t take a pay cut. It’s not Allen’s job to figure out the cap and make everything work, that’s Beane and the front office’s job. They are paid a lot of money as well. People need to stop putting the responsibility of the cap on the players

  13. The people calling to trade him-why? What are the Bills going to get for him? A 6th round pick? Cool, he’s more valuable than that to the team.  You just want him gone because you’re butt hurt he hasn’t played up to expectations, but trading him is an extremely foolish move. He’s cheap, he plus a position of need , and he has shown flashes
