head scratcher simply because i think they really like his effort and locker room leadership but i dont think you pick a guy that has no shot to compete for a start this early. hes slated to be in a role you just extended a very good starter? so a STmer that may replace milano way down the road or maybe milano at mlb if Edmunds leaves?

we have had issues with titans, ne, Indianapolis,

big physical run teams, just as much as a fast twitch kc team.

a cb that has tackling issues and a undersized lb has me worried we may be leaning to far in the speed direction. glad the dl looks to be much better so maybe thats the reason. or maybe they have a exotic nickel type package or two so the kid has at least a chance to get on the field.

He should assume the Klein role, with better coverage skills for when they go 4-3. I know they prefer base nickel but it will be a nice option to have if his coverage skills translate to the NFL.

  2. Can’t complain. Position of need, played very well in the SEC. Wouldn’t have been my first choice cuz of his seeming unwillingness to tackle, maybe that was due to injury. Either way, Bills have their number 2 corner and will likely trade picks to move back into the 4th anyways. Excited to see how the rest of the draft plays out.

I would love this pick. He’s a “sleep good at night” pick. I am not sure he will be there.

If the rumors are true that he “interviewed so poorly some teams took him off their board,‘’ doesn’t seem like he’d fit the “culture” McBeane is creating in Buffalo. I for one don’t care how good a player interviews, I just want good football players on the field.

The Bills could benefit with any one of these 5 safeties:

    Safety

    1. Kyle Hamilton, Norte Dame (1st)

    2. Daxton Hill, Michigan (1st)

    3. Lewis Cine, Georgia (2nd)

    4. Jalen Pitre, Baylor (2nd)

    5. Jaquan Brisker, Penn State (2nd)

I would love to know what the medical is on Andrew Booth.

PS No one talks about Booth's knee surgery 2 years ago.   I wonder if that is a concern.

I heard Dax interviewed so poorly some teams took him off their board completely.

This thread is 10 pages long and there’s been like 5 actual rumors posted lol

I’d be fine if they took Gordon at 25. I think he’s going to have a better NFL career than McDuffie, Booth and Elam.

Imagine where we force teams to put 8 in the box at times. I can’t recall many times where teams ever had 8 in the box vs Singletary. Imagine what Allen would do to defenses with a legitimately feared RB. If we had Derick Henry, nobody could stop us. We would likely have an undefeated season.

Why are you so keen in playing against the Bills strength in Josh and the passing game? Teams aren’t going to put 8 in the box regardless of who the running back is because Josh is throwing the ball or going to scramble.

I like McDuffie (position of need, dont know enough about all the corners to know which one I would prefer), Cook (added speed/pass catching weapon) and Mays picks

I like Cook, but 89 seems a bit early for him.

It’s definitely draft fatigue hitting. But most bills fans seem to want this RB and a lot don’t want a corner so not sure. Draft week is just heavy smokescreen time so anything getting to the media is getting there in calculated fashion.

Who has espn+ and can tell me what Matt Miller predicted for Bills?

    I’m a sucker who pays for it…

    Mcduffie

    Tolbert

    James Cook

    Zachary Carter

    Cade Mays

    Cole Kelley

    Terrel Bernard

    Jordan Stout.

I really hate that mock. I like Stout in the 7th the most out of all his picks..

Poyer is not participating in voluntary workouts, has changed agents, and wants a new contract.  Beane stated he's focused on the draft and quote "can't pay everyone".

There are some indications that this issue could persist until the start of the season, but of course, everyone's hoping it works out well for the team and for Poyer.

I consider that a "holdout", but let's not split hairs on descriptions about what's going on here.  mmkay?

You do know what “voluntary,” means, right?

  10. I’m a big Burks fan personally. He has great YAC ability, something none of our receivers have. He’s a beast with the ball in his hands, they have the finesse guy in Diggs, deep threat in Davis, slot in Crowder and McKenzie.
