Exactly and he will do it again and again. It’s part of his game. It’s part of why he’ll always be at risk for injury but fortunately he seems to be able to take a hit better than any other QB I’ve seen. Thing you have to consider is how many critical first downs have you seen him get for us by sacrificing himself just like he did there?

Cam could take hits early in his career. But all those hits add up.

Truth, Allen self destructed with bad decision making and reverting to hero ball.  Cost us two fgs with stupid sacks.  Bunch of those turnovers were on early downs where there was not even any need to push the ball to make some special play.  Lets not forget the two fumbles he coughed up that we luckily recovered.  Honestly we'd probably have won today with a risk adverse game manager type qb. I really hope he starts learning soon

I don’t mind Allen taking risks, but throwing into double coverage isn’t a risk, it’s just plain dumb with the receivers they have out there. If they had a guy like Julio or Hopkins I could understand. I don’t want them to turn Josh into a game manager type QB because he has the ability to come up with big plays using his arm and his legs. He makes some god awful decisions.

Didn't Baby Jesus Beane fix the O-line??  Coulda sworn...

He upgraded center for a while so long as Morse stays healthy. Slapped a one year band aid at left guard, although Spain has been good. But the Ty/Ford at right tackle has been a disaster. They need to upgrade both tackle spots this off season.

As the weeks role by, the price has to be going down.  But he's a big cap hit and it would take a while for him to contribute.

They wanted a first and a second back in August. Bills need those picks to grab some more offensive weapons. Castonzo would be a decent option at LT in the off season. Bulaga or Daryl Williams on the right side.

    Makes no sense.

Knox didn't see the field until the last drive of the 2nd half, when we marched down the field for a field goal attempt.

He needs a lot more snaps.

If you're going to play Smith, you might as well play an extra lineman. Everyone knows he's no threat to catch the ball.

And when Kroft comes back he will receive even fewer snaps. Knox has legitimate ability as a vertical tight end, and he is a beast with the ball in his hands. Sweeney should be seeing snaps over Smith.

I agree, Hughes have been doing the same move for three years, getting kinda old.

The defense wasn’t the reason they lost today. It was the offense with poor blocking on the edges, not having a legit number 1 wideout to throw to which lead to coverage sacks. And the punter. Can the Bills really not find anyone better than him?

Burfict gets ejected and suspended because of his reputation.  I just saw Jones hit and he should have been ejected I would t be shocked by a game or two suspension.. but the league is very inconsistent as you mentioned.

Kraft should be banned for getting tugged at a massage parlor. But the league is very inconsistent as you mentioned.

I’m still a little miffed there was no PI on that call. The defender was in Yeldon’s lap not looking at the ball.  But hey it’s the Pats so can’t say I’m shocked.

They turned the ball over 4 times, had a punt blocked for a TD and lost by 6. The refs had little to do with the Bills losing the game.

I think it’s decision making more than anything.  Defenses still have to respect his arm strength.  Just keep the chains moving.  Stop looking for highlight plays all the time.

Was going to say something like this. There’s nothing wrong with drinking and dunking to move the chains. Brady’s been doing that his whole career. Mahomes has changed the way people perceive a quarterback should play with all his highlight reel throws. Thing is, he has the talent surrounding him that makes it possible to put up those big plays. Josh does not.

Would like to see three personnel changes by next week.

Get Zay Jones off the team. He sucks. Doesn’t separate, terrible body control and had never made a play that any other receiver in the league wouldn’t have made. Duke needs to be on this roster to high point balls and body small CBs out. If that means you cut Zay than just do it.

Get a new punter. Bono is the Worst punter in the league. The snap was horrible on the block but could he have taken anymore time. Plus the 21 yard punt was a nice touch near the end of the game. Time to move on there.

Make Ty Nsecke your FT left tackle and start transitioning Cody Ford to guard. Too much pressure off the right when he’s in the game. Both of our tackles may be better suited long term for guard based on what I am seeing.

How long will it take McBeane to admit they made a mistake and get rid of Zay? They cut Kelvin Benjamin after trading a 3rd for him.

    After 16 games, eh?

    You must be nostradamus.

He needs to learn to take what the defense gives him. On the touchdown drive it was quick passes that got them down the field (and Gore). He should also watch some Brady film, when no ones open throw the ball in the dirt like the Bills defense forced him to all day. Better a punt than an interception or a sack.
