Head Start is not part of the Dept of Education. Early Intervention is administered at the state level. Laying off bureaucrats in Washington has no impact on either of these things. American students have been repeatedly failed by Washington over the last several decades regardless of the party in control of government. Time for a new approach. Let’s see how the states do. Seemed to work well enough prior to the feds unsuccessfully attempting to save the day.
