  1. I don't see the "LMAO, **** no" choice
  2. Yes. The combination of brining (flavor) and dry aging/pat drying (crispiness) is the key. The cooking method is almost irrelevant. fwiw, I like to add an egg or two to my brine; I swear it helps the flavor in the brine penetrate even more.
  3. If they get him for the gun, that's the trifecta!
  4. I do not believe for a second that whoever made this mess had the slightest clue what the hell they were looking at. You have two different QB's listed for both Carolina and Indianapolis. In both cases they are somehow on opposite ends of the separation spectrum? With the same receivers? Bo Nix, Justin Fields and Will Levis are all more accurate than Josh Allen? The entire thing is patently ridiculous.
  5. The Bills aren't making you fat. Your ass is making you fat!
  6. There's something wonderful about locking a thread on sight, then laughing so hard when you actually read it that you decide to unlock it.
  7. You're focused on the math. The physical beatdown was absolutely dominant. Woolen might wear a fake mustache around town this week.
  8. I'm only a little spooked by it and just because of his athleticism. If Harbaugh and Co. can turn Lamar Jackson into a viable NFL QB can they do something similar with Johnson?
  9. Dude. I don't care about the math. I know you saw what he did to Tariq Woolen all afternoon. He made a very good corner look like a freaking middle schooler. He absolutely dominated him.
  10. Fwiw, his numbers look like this: 3 TDs in 7 games Averaging about 4 catches for 50 yrds per game Still only bringing in 50% of his targets Missed their last game with a "rib" injury I don't know how much the numbers were affected by QB play and I don't know if he was really hurt or just bubble-wrapped for a trade.
  11. My understanding is that he has gotten better with it, although I have not seen that with my own eyes. It was an absolute circus in Pittsburgh; one of the quickest WRs you'll ever see in your life yet nobody was afraid of him.
  12. Wonder if they pulled the trigger now because they thought Houston was about to come sniffing around.
  13. Yeah, I'm not saying it might make the difference in him being able to play in this league. Just that maybe he's not a bad kid but isn't blessed with a lot going on upstairs. He'd still be screwed as far as being a QB, but maybe he doesn't deserve to be reviled as a low character jackass.
  14. I'm sure his more mature brother can help him out if things get a little complicated.
  15. I'm not saying that's not the case; cuz it might turn out to be. But it's possible that he might just be dumb enough to think he was doing his team a favor by taking a play off.
  16. My understanding is that it was for one play when he was really gassed after a bunch of running around. He probably shouldn't have done it, but it's going to get waaaaaayyyyyyy more attention than it deserves.
  17. He's got enough money to spend the rest of his life traveling and eating surf and turf so I'm not going to feel bad for him. It's hard to manufacture a lot of empathy for a-hole drama queens.
  18. I haven't seen them in a while. Have the Colts continued to maintain a good OLine? Because they are going to need it.
  19. I'm not talking about just taking the underneath stuff when it's there. I'm referring to the way defenses having been defending the Bills since a few weeks into the season by flooding the middle zones and trying to force the Bills to win outside, which included them not willingly giving them short easy completions between the hashes. Doing this has left defenses exposed in the flats where throwing balls to our RB's would have left them one-on-one in open field with either an overmatched LB or with a safety coming over from a difficult angle. I was repeatedly kvetching about the Bills offense eschewing those spots for a couple weeks when they were available while the offense was struggling mightily. Dave's post makes it appear that they've finally begun making hay out there with their backs. That's what I was referring to with the comment about Brady's willingness to adjust being slower than we'd prefer and it possibly being a function of McDermott not liking to come off set plans too quickly.
  20. Defenses have been begging us to attack them like this for weeks now; I'm glad to see the Bills have begun to accommodate them and hope it continues at an increasing pace. I'm getting the sense that Joe Brady is not necessarily fast to adjust, but will do what is called for given time. It could also be a function of McDermott's tendency to stick with your plan for as long as you can. They understand what they're seeing and know what they're doing out there, I just wish they would be a little more proactive with their adjustments at times.
  21. Like others, I was also on my way out of the stadium with Dad. I have a theory that the reason those guys hated post-game traffic so much is that they were repeatedly driving us home drunk as lords and knew if they were in the car too long they would have to piss.
  22. Just pretend he's Brady; you'll be more comfortable with the possibility of him being killed
  23. Watching those two compete in a steeplechase could be very entertaining
