I think it's more mental than anyone gives its due. You're hanging around most of the game standing around, hearing how you suck on the road or at home sometimes. Weather, big scoreboards, players taunting you, etc... Yes they are pros, make way too much money, but they are humans.

@Ridgewaycynic2013 Your post is so ironic!! I was thinking about a former student of mine Devin Watson today. He was a very talented basketball player at the Army/ Navy Boys Academy in Carlsbad CA. He played at Univ. of San Fran, transferred to San Diego St. I was thinking if he if he made it to the NBA after playing in World leagues. I googled him today. Guess who he plays for??? The Guelph Nighthawks basketball team! Lol!!
