  1. It's 30-15 vs a sub .500 record. You said he was on the same level of a two time SB champion. I think the burden of proof is on you.
  2. Your level of detail is appreciated. I'm glad the goal post is proving you wrong.
  3. The Bengals were 2-14 when they drafted Burrow.
  4. Mahomes is 30-15 in the same clip. It's on you to chase gooses.
  5. Bills are 33-3 since 2020 when they allow under 20 points. They're 11-8 with 20-30 points allowed and 2-7 above 30. So to be clear with how I view QB stats Allen is 13-15 if the defense allows more than the league average. Let me know what other requests you have.
  6. It’s post year one for both. If you think it will change that much if we exclude a playoff season in 2019 I encourage you to run the numbers.
  7. Buffalo is 14-18 and KC is 30-15 when defenses score over 20 points since both QB’s first years. What exactly do you want the defense to be held to? More than 20 and we lose.
  8. We will become enraged at the poster of this thread. Plan a strategic hit against McD only to fail and give McD’s spouse a tums.
  9. This has to be first. As for regular season, the Chiefs in 2021 and 2022, the Patriots 2nd game in 2021 after we lost (was basically for the division). We could give him some credit for Patriots 2021. I think the Dallas Thanksgiving game could go on here. If we stretch thing maybe the Baltimore game last year or Thanksgiving game in Detroit. This is probably more telling than even the losses. We have no signature playoff wins outside that Baltimore game and no more than a couple regular season wins per year you would hang your hat on. We are really good at beating the crap out of bad teams and even that has diminished this year.
  10. It was his best game since 13 seconds against a legit playoff team.
  11. I don’t like the notion of dismissing a bad choice with that argument. Fans will be fans. I’m not going disagree with that concept.
  12. So you trust McD's intuition over analytics in this situation? I'm curious exactly what weights McD's brain gives to all of those factors. If those weights change based on his mood or as one poster said, being spooked by a halftime INT by the Jets. How consistent his decision making is in these moments when he has to use his human computer to analyze the best outcomes. I wonder if he was using that computer when he called his 3rd down timeout or if his intuition told him to Ice the kicker. Give me a break. Anybody worth a salt knows this game is becoming more about science than feeling. You can blend both concepts but to defy them is just an outright error in judgement.
  13. Every decision has probabilities to each side. Coaches have to make decisions that put those probabilities in the teams favor. Had he pressed and disaster struck he could confidently say in his post game that we knew the probabilities of that situation so we went for it. Sometimes it doesn't work out but I would make the same decision again. If that occurred no, I wouldn't crucify him. You can make this argument all you want and it's a common one at this point but it's just not valid for this. It's like me saying, well, he drove drunk and it just didn't work out, but I'm only saying that because he didn't make it home ok.
  14. We had all three I believe. It took 7 seconds and one timeout to be in FG range. Basically identical situations. Are you're implying the lack of two additional timeouts should have altered the decision?
  15. So why would we decide now that being aggressive in this situation isn't the right course of action? It's one thing to always say that is or isn't the right decision. That could be interpreted as somewhat philosophical even if it is against the probabilities. But to switch for no apparent reason. It just shows the level of planning and detail in these moments. It's based on gut feeling in the moment and not long term planning and probabilities.
  16. Gabe, Josh, and Brady have all said it’s on them. But I used ranch with my wings, made a Philly with deli meat, and washed it down with a cold Budweiser. So this falls on me. It’s an opportunity to grow and I’m thankful for it. ✌️
  17. All day, bigger body guy and very fluid.
  18. If we did make it what are the odds McBoogerballs McBildos the Billsy? Pretty McF'n McLikely.
  19. Ya. That would be a historically bad decision. The weather was good enough for the Eagles to make a 90 yards field goal. At worst, any NFL kicker makes that 60% or more, the actual average is 70-75%. You have a real risk of a 11 yard net punt on a touchback. I don’t disagree that the game seemed to change at that point. But it’s also when the Eagles started hammering those stretch run to the outside. We had no answer for that and it allowed them to get in some rhythm.
  20. If you think McD is the only reason we can't win close games you're mistaking. If you build a system to live and die with one player, you will not be alive very long.
