I am most thankfull to have got to know and share time and conversations with Paul. Today I think on these words: ONCE IN A WHILE... "Once in a while you meet someone, and soon you both discover the two of you are truly something special to each other. You share your thoughts and feelings so relaxed, so openly, and right away you know your friendship's truly meant to be." Life isn't about keeping score. < It's not about how many friends you have Or how accepted you are. Not about if you have plans this weekend or if you're alone. It isn't about who you're dating, who you used to date, how many people you've dated, or if you haven't been with anyone at all. It isn't about who you have kissed. It's not about sex. It isn't about who your family is or how much money they have or what kind of car you drive. Or where you are sent to school. It's not about how beautiful or ugly you are. Or what clothes you wear, what shoes you have on, or what kind of music you listen to. It's not about if your hair is blonde, red, black, or brown. Or if your skin is too light or too dark. Not about what grades you get,how smart you are, how smart everybody else thinks you are, or how smart standardized tests say you are. It's not about what clubs you're in or how good you are at "your" sport. It's not about representing your whole being on a piece of paper and seeing who will "accept the written you." LIFE JUST ISN'T But, life is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about who you make happy or unhappy purposefully. It's about keeping or betraying trust. It's about friendship, used as a sanctity or a weapon. It's about what you say and mean, maybe hurtful, maybe heartening. About starting rumors and contributing to petty gossip. It's about what judgments you pass and why. And who your judgments are spread to. It's about who you've ignored with full control and intention.

"We needed to add veteran depth at quarterback,” Accorsi said. “Rob hasn't played in a while because he was recovering from Tommy John surgery. But he has won in this league, is in great shape and threw the ball well in his workout. He should be ready go and fully recovered by training camp. You need depth at that critical position." Former Buffalo Sabres coach Ted Nolan is now coach of Canada's No. 1 ranked Junior hockey team the Moncton Wildcats. Currently they are playing in the Junior Championship the Memorial Cup. They have won their first two games and are one win away from playing in Sundays final, tomorrow playing Patrick Roys Quebec Ramparts. It was said Ted Nolan after being blackballed needed to return to Junior hockey and prove himself. Toronto's Globe and Mail did an article entitled " Ted Nolan Speaks Out". In the article Ted Nolan sites that racism was very much part of the component that was and is part of his blackball. He talks about being accused of job realated drunkeness, and adultry, plus the racist taunts of fans during his playing days and as coach. Much talk has gone on about his supposed affairs, it should be noted he has denied them all and finds them repugnent. The article is here take of it what you will. I hope he does get another shot at the NHL , does well. My guess is such articles will not help. Ted Nolan

Is this young lady and friend sharing a home together or is the home your friends? If the home be just your friends its on both of you to be respectful of each other. If this home is also hers, its on you to be respectful to her and her home. If you have apologized and did your best to make things right and still feel you need kiss her behind, I would give the evening a pass. Also if the home be your friends home only, perhaps have him have a talk with her to suggest she settle down and the next time a person is to be told leave his home, he will do it. If he cannot do that , give both of them a pass and move on.

Clarabell Howdy Doody Show's final Clarabell the Clown, has died at the age of 84. Long mute as Clarabell, Anderson broke the clown's silence in the show's final episode in 1960. With trembling lips and a visible tear in his eye, he spoke the show's final words: "Goodbye, kids." Though Anderson was not the only man to play "Buffalo Bob" Smith's mute sidekick, he was the best, Smith said in his memoir. With the Peanut Gallery looking on, Anderson used bicycle horns to give yes and no answers. For more expressive moments, he wielded a bottle of seltzer.

newspaper article His Website The Story of this Website: So, here's the story - I'm 25, and to this date, have never been laid. Yes, it's sad, but it's true. The whole story, however, is far more interesting than just the lack of sex. When I was 21, I was engaged to be married to a woman I thought I would be with for the rest of my life, and the two of us had chosen to wait until marriage to have sex so we could share something special with each other. But when I was 22, just six months before our wedding, I discovered that she had been cheating on me and sleeping with another man. Needless to say, I was crushed. For the last 3 years I haven't really been able to bring myself to start dating again as the pain of that betrayal still runs deep inside of me. But as a man, the overwhelming urge to have sex is just starting to get to be too much for me to handle, and so I made a bet with one of my very hot (but also very platonic) female friends - if I can get 5 million visitors to this website in 30 days, she has agreed to help me with my "problem". If I can't get to five million in 30 days, I have to be her personal servant for a week, doing anything she asks me to do. So this site is my attempt to get to 5 million hits in 30 days. The site started on May 1st, 2006, so I have 15 days left to make the bet, and so far, the total number of visitors is: 3033579 Thanks for your help - please tell a friend about this site and help me finally get laid. Together we can make this happen!

One of the Buffalo Bills most beloved former players will make an important announcement at noon, with coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft attending. It is said that his locker these days is occupied by rookie kicker Steve Gostkowski, so this may be a indication as to which way Doug is leaning. Apparently one may tune in live at noon to Patriots website to hear this most momentous announcement. Doug Flutie

Taking The Power Drive With Willis Mcgahee MIAMI -- I didn't expect Willis McGahee to be such a simple guy. I expected the former Miami tailback to live in some obscene, 10,000-square foot home. Instead, he had three pieces of furniture in the living room of his condominium at the Ritz-Carlton in Coconut Grove. Four, if you count his Xbox. But McGahee was still a perfect first victim for the Sentinel's "Riding With" series because he is living the life most of us wished we had at 24. He's the starting running back for the Buffalo Bills. He lives in a condo with a fabulous view of Miami. He's rich. And, he's got three cars -- a Porsche Cayenne, a BMW 645 and an Infiniti QX56 SUV. - Q: What kind of person were you in high school? A: Woo, I did everything you could imagine. Skipped school. I played around a lot. Q: Were you a ladies man in high school? A: Naw, I was actually faithful. Q: You almost say that like you can't believe you were faithful. A: I can believe I was. I can't believe how I am now. Q: Do you think you'll always live in Miami? A: I think I'll always come back to Miami. I don't know about live in it. I need to get out of it because I'm bad. Q: Would you describe yourself that way? A: No, I've calmed down a whole lot. Q: Was there anything that made you calm down? A: My kids. I got two kids. Q: How old are they? A: One of them is 15 months and the other is five months. Q: So far, what's the most difficult thing about fatherhood? A: Nothing right now. Not for me. Just dealing with the mother. That's the difficult part. After that, everything is cool. Q: What's more troublesome, an ex-wife or a baby momma? A: A baby momma. Q: Why? A: Because they feel like they should be a part of your life for 18 years. An ex-wife, you can get away from her. A baby momma, you can't get away from her until the child is 18 or older. They're going to constantly ask you for money. They just want to nag you for no reason, just because they can. (Willis has never been married.) Q: Did you meet both of these women here in Miami? A: (Laughs) Yeah. Q: Is that why you say you need to get out of Miami? A: I need to get out of Miami. Q: Do you hang out? Are you a big partier? A: I used to party every day of the week except Wednesday. Q: Why Wednesday? A: That was a rest day. Q: What is a perfect night out for Willis McGahee? A: Hanging with Bryant McKinnie (offensive lineman, Minnesota Vikings). He put the 'p' in party. I rolled with him one time and I thought it was going to be another night out. I get there and he's got Venus with him. He has a lot of celebrities with him. Slim Thug, too.

The Ultimate Price While it is tough to be a woman, being a man can be downright deadly. Women live longer than men. And now scientists suggest a simple Darwinian reason: Competing for a mate can wear a guy out or get him killed. "Women live longer in almost every country, and the sex difference in lifespan has been recognized since at least the mid-18th century," said Daniel Kruger at the University of Michigan. "It isn't a recent trend; it originates from our deep evolutionary history." The idea is presented in the spring edition of the journal Human Nature. Butting heads In common chimpanzees, Kruger and his colleague Randolph Nesse report, mortality spikes among males around age 13, just as they're old enough to breed and start competing for social status. Males of many species must fight vigorously for the right to mate. Think of rams butting heads. Spectacular male bird plumage is another example of biological effort required to succeed, effort that uses energy and can shorten a life. In this scheme of natural selection, evolution shapes traits that help the best genes survive, sometimes to the detriment of individuals. Human males don't always have to wrestle to get a woman these days, but the pressure to succeed sexually hasn't changed much, the researchers argue. Only the methods have been revised.

New Theory A joint UK-US team has put forward an alternative theory of cosmic evolution. It proposes that the Universe undergoes cycles of "Big Bangs" and "Big Crunches", meaning our Universe is merely a "child of the previous one". It challenges the conventional view of the cosmos, which observations show to be 12-14 billion years old. The new ideas, reported in the journal Science, may explain why the expansion of the Universe is accelerating, the researchers say. "At present the conventional view is that all of space, time, matter and energy began at a single point, which then expanded and cooled, leaving the Universe as it is today," said Professor Paul Steinhardt of Princeton University, New Jersey. "However, this new theory suggests that there's a continuous cycle of universes, with each a repeat of the last, but not an exact replica. "It can be thought of as a child of the previous universe."
