  5. Reading in the paper , about Ron Zook going to frat house to defuse a beef between a number of his players and a Frat. Seems things got heated him telling some of frat that they were not going to take down his team and that he would see to it the Frat was out rather than his team, this being twisted as some sort of off the wall threat , that he should never have made. It seems the players were in front of frat house because a group of frat guys jumped a player and broke his nose, and they came back to have a little talk with them. Is this as straight forward that certain powers want Zook out and Spurrier in? Perhaps Zooks word usage was not perfect , but that he tried to defuse situation is what he had to do, seems the bad guy in this issue has got twisted around. Is something missing here.... The linked article calls the football players and Zook stupid, what the hell are folks who jump and break noses and then seeminlgly allow a same group plea as victims.... who is stupid here....Ron Zook

  21. Though much of the public may forever associate him with the Beach Boys' three-minute odes to sand, girls and cars, Wilson grew to be one of pop music's greatest composers. After the Beatles stunned the pop music world with the release of the elaborately produced "Rubber Soul" in 1965, Wilson one-upped them with "Pet Sounds." The Beatles, in turn -- after releasing "Revolver" -- responded with "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," a work still regarded by Rolling Stone magazine as the greatest rock album ever made ("Pet Sounds" is No. 2). " 'Rubber Soul' was such an experience for me to hear that I went to my piano and I started writing 'Pet Sounds' right away," Wilson, dressed in blue jeans, a pullover shirt and tennis shoes, said recently during a break from rehearsing "Smile" for a concert tour. 23. Over the three-day Operation Impact blitz that ended yesterday at 10 p.m. police handed out more than 5,000 tickets for infractions ranging from speeding to impaired driving. Although the numbers were down from the 8,000 charges laid during the 2003 Thanksgiving blitz, Woolley said the number of alcohol-related charges was up When the officer arrived on scene he noticed the offending driver wearing a T-shirt that read 'drunken monkey' on the front of it," Woolley said. "If there was truth in advertising, this was it." The driver of the Honda blew double the limit for alcohol and was also found to be in possession of a bag of marijuana. - Four minutes later, at Hwys. 404 and 401, police found another drunk driving up on the guard rails. "He told the officer he just wanted to turn right," Woolley said. - A 42-year-old Toronto man tried to evade a RIDE program on the shoulder just north of Finch Ave. on Hwy. 400. "He threw the car in reverse and started driving back up the highway," Woolley said. "And actually he was wanted by Toronto Police for failing to provide breath sample." - An off-duty officer on his way home noticed a 31-year-old Mississauga woman slaloming her Cadillac through traffic at speeds of up to 170 km/h on westbound Hwy. 401 near Milton. "As she got off at an exit ramp and approached the red light the off-duty officer caught up with her," Woolley said. "She told the officer she was late for dinner." Drivers
