Ralph is still cheap.
lol,
I’m also coming around on the “toss a small player” over the LOS on third and short, but only as a distraction for an outside sweep for a RB,
😁👍

Thanks for the wisdom. Water is wet.
Yes it is, and it gets really cold in Buffalo during the winter, 🤣

Um, yeah it is. Having a 14-3 team like the Vikings not make the playoffs is crazy to me in your scenario.
Life is inherently unfair

I like the way it is now. I remember under the old format you'd see a 7-9 division make the playoffs while an 10-6 team sat home because they didn't win their division. The one tweak I like that they may make is a division winner that doesn't finish above .500 doesn't host the WC game.
Most teams wrap up their division before week 17. Talk about a ratings killer for week 17 and 18.
True, but it’s not about ratings, if ya can’t win your division, you don’t deserve to be in the postseason, again , jmo.
you can agree or be wrong, 🤣

IMO, if you don’t win your division, you don’t go to the post season.
it appears not everyone agrees with me, 😁👍

We're the same age, and I was there too. Stones played with Bobby Womack and the Outlaws.
Those 70s Summerfest's were great!
Yup, it was an experience wasn’t it 👍

On the flip side, there is also the "with what money" crowd when there is a guy people want to sign or the team misses out on. When you have limited funds, not sure gambling on a guy that has been either hurt or not productive since 2021. We have gone down this road before (Josh Norman) and expect a different result.
Oh well, it’s not my money it’s not my decision, when the draft is over we will see what the team looks like,

Both of his houses are architecturally boring

Eh I think if he’s super cheap it’s worth doing. You get a veteran voice in the room to mentor Amos/Hairston or whoever they draft in the first round. Dude has been to Super Bowls. It’s a very young DB room. Plus you get a contingency plan as a very experienced backup and you create smoke a smokescreen that your biggest hole on the roster is filled.I don’t buy it, there is little chance he can be competitive as a cb on the field at this point, sure with the vet tutoring thing, but it will take another seasons worth of time before he is mediocre at his job, these injuries take two years to fully recover from,
-
Why would one sign an aging CB coming off a torn Achilles injury, it’s a waste of time energy and money,

Love the Elway drama. As one of the first years I watched the draft, it helped make me more interested in the draft. Also, the Manning/Rivers draft.
Not really draft, but related. Jim Kelly leaving Buffalo at the alter…
Jim Kelly in town to sign after the draft. Bruce Allen of the USFL calls the Bills offices and the secretary gives the call to Kelly’s agent and tells him not to sign. Jim leaves and the rest is history. I do believe his years in the USFL helped make him a better NFL QB, specially in the K Gun.
Yup, that’s top shelf Billsy right there,

Maybe, I’m just saying maybe, the OP didn’t know there has been an ongoing thread for weeks now about Cook an his inability to read the room he is in, or is it just me?
