I agree. I would absolutely do what Schobel did. What happens if you blow a knee like Willis McGahee. Do you honestly think anyone would give you money at that point. I take my 23 million and live very happily!! Now their is a big difference between 23 and 33 million but it no where near as big as the difference between 23 million and nothing!

Well I am glad you have won money. I am just saying that I believe that their is a major difference between the two. Marino never learned how to win the big game. Peyton continues to develop. That was a tough loss but Marino cannot compare to Peytons study and work ethic. It is unmatched. I saw improvement in Peytons game last night. I think he learned from the mistake he made in the AFC Championship game and took his game up a notch. I look to him to continue to improve and take the necessary next step. I truly believe if these teams played 10 times that the Colts would win 5-7 of the games this year. Frustrating loss.

The guy played one hell of a game. He had 2 mistakes. The int in the End Zone. That was critical. He forced the throw before and went right back to the middle. The second mistake was the sack. This board just overstates everything. Manning is God! Then Manning chokes in the Big Game. He is just another in the long line of first pick busts. Give me a freaking break! The guy is the co-mvp of the NFL. The guy just shreaded a defense that gave up only 15 points a game last year and they actually improved in the offseason. If the Pats play as well (They did play well!) as they did last night against Buffalo... The Bills will lose 31-7.

You guys are out of line. What we saw was probably the two best teams in the AFC and maybe football. Manning made some mistakes but made some great throws and plays against a great Pats D. How quickly forget the likes of Jim Kelly. Yeah our hero. Geez can't remember him ever making a mistake in big games. Oh wait.. Lets see. Oh yeah maybe he did. How many times did Kelly throw ints to cost the Bills games. A few times. He also made plays to win Big games. The bottom line is Peyton is a big time QB who made some costly errors. Well the man that TD replaced. John Butler before he passed put on a record of 13-19 and if you count last season he was 17-31 with his apprentice AJ Smith running the show. Butler was considered by many a excellent GM and executive. TD last two years were 14-18. So again I must ask Jerry Sullivan. Who would you rather have? Modrak?? Yeah. Lets get the guy who ran the last few drafts. Who did we get the last couple of years? Oh yeah the likes of Mike Williams, Ryan Denney, Josh Reed, Willis McGahee, Angelo Crowell, and Chris Kelsay. Oh wait. Those are the picks you are calling out right Jerry?? So certainly Modrak can't be the guy. Well that and the fact that if they can TD his buddy Modrak is gone as well. So who? Mueller? Come on. The guy has been through 3 teams. What irks me the most is Sullivans hindsight and inability to offer alternatives. It is the crybaby school of journalism. Jerry- Why don't you write an article about what a mistake the Buffalo News made by hiring you Jerry and how Felser was twice the journalist you are. Follow that up by offering up no other solution for who should replace you. Make sure to include points where you have contradicted yourself or generally proved yourself to be a fool. How about this Jerry. How about we wait a few games this season to evaluate TD this year.

L Sape- Week 3. His dramatic return to the roster the Sapester forces a fumble and rumbles 75 yards for the first TD of the year for the Bills. On a side note the Bills Win 12-3 against Jacksonville and 3-0 against Oakland.

Marv Levy said something to the effect of the Draft picks that help you this year are your draft picks from the following year. Lee Evans will help this year but no where near to the level that everyone hopes. 1st year WR generally do not make the impact that everyone hopes for.

I think he misses some good moves that TD made. Passing on K. Walker- OT- A number of people thought the Bills should have selected him. He has bombed out in TB. Nate Clements and Travis Henry for K. Walker looks pretty smart. I think TD realised his mistake in Drew. Instead of doing nothing he drafts JP. Fairly humble to recognize his mistake. TD had to give Gregg Williams year 3. TD recognized his mistake and let him go. I think Gregg Williams will eventually be a very good coach. He was young and made some mistakes. Also all the talk about Marvin Lewis is crazy. Marvin did not want to coach in Buffalo. Bottom line. Now not hiring John Fox was an error. Making hiring decisions after the fact is a lot easier than when you are in the moment. I think Jerry Sullivan gets to make decisions after the fact. Must be nice. Sullivans statement that this is not a playoff roster is wrong. Sullivans statement about McGahee looks good right now. The problem is that it takes two years to recover from that injury. If Willis returns to form then Jerry gets to write that he was wrong. Oh well.. I was wrong but the Bills are great again so no one cares. It is easy to be negative when you are a writer because no one cares if you are wrong. They are too happy about the Bills winning again. I think Jerry Sullivan is trying to be Larry Felser without much substance or intelligence. Mr. Sullivan I have met Larry Felser and YOU are no Larry Felser.

I hate to say this but I think for the Bills to win they have to come out throwing. Jacksonville has little pass rush. Jacksonville has Stroud and Henderson. It is going to be very tough to run against them. I hate to go all Gillbride here but I would come out passing if I were the Bills.

I fired an email to Jerry Sullivan about his article the previous week. It is the one where he said the Bills were too woried about Drew Bledsoe's fragile ego. I asked him if the Bills were worried about Drews ego when they brought in his replacement JP Losman. I basically stated that if he is so unhappy that instead of only voicing his displeasure he should offer some input of what he would have liked the Bills to do instead. He replied offering only that he felt the Bills should have picked Mark Bruenell. I really hope Breunell bombs and I can fire that email back to him questioning his knowledge for the game. I love this move. Locking up good to great DE's is critical for this team sucess. The Bills made the right call. Jennings is still good but I looked at Schobel as an absolute must. Pat Williams is a critical player but the drafting on Anderson might make him expendable. I hope not but we have a quality guy backing him up. I look to the Bills actively trying to resign Nate Clements next. I also look in the next draft to the Bills looking for a CB in round one if they are able to deal backinto the round. Picking a CB eary will allow Vincent to move to FS. This completes the Defense. TD has done a solid job this year. I also look to TD fixing the Offensive Line next season. I hate looking too far ahead. Well I do it all the time sooo. TD will fix the line next season with the help of Mcnally.

For those in love with Modrak. Modrak ran the draft the last few years. Mike Williams, Josh Reed, Ryan Denney. Willis McGahee, Chris Kelsay, Angelo Crowell. Not exactly terrific work. Just remember that when you fire TD and want to replace him with his buddy Modrak.

Just curios why he would come back to Buffalo for a day. Does his family still live in Buffalo? You know what. I probably just answered my own question.

We should be fine. The club was started to argue with those who thought we should have drafted Hensen and were doggin Lauvale. I started the club to shut those guys up and it worked. I rode on a plane from Buffalo to Chi today and Rueben Brown was on the plane. Did the Bears not have practice??

Maybe he can make the practice squad and fight hs way back on the roster.

Here are the Buffalo News requirements for the writers. Come up with lousy catch phrase like Column as I see em or It is one of those opinionated days. Complain about Bills. Start QB controversy. Blame GM. Write a story profiling a player who has been out of the league for a year but will return to glory after no other team in the NFL wanted him. Begin calling for coaches head. Create controversy. Offer zero input. Be negative all the time. Be creative and mention the 4 second alarm clock that Drew Bledsoe uses this year.

It did and for awhile those were the type of numbers Edge put up in Indy.
