  1. Guys.. Relax. Edge had a similar injury and was just as slow when he first came back. DO NOT expect too much this season. The Bills know this. It took 2 full years for Edge to be back. This is year 1.5 of Willis recovery. The speed and vision will come back. Be patient! In the meantime enjoy a young fella named Travis Henry. I hear he is pretty good.
  2. L. Sape. You bastard!! Take it back right now!!
  3. didn't flutie sign an outrageous deal with the Chargers. Something like 3-4 million a year? How could we afford the salary let alone the pick for Flutie?
  4. I took it that way.. Half serious.. However around here you never know. 32 teams and the Bills are the first choice for every player don't you know... Ha
  5. I am friends with a number of people I do not work with. Money talks.. Also, just because you are Eric's friend does not mean that TD or the Bills want you.
  6. Listen, it is a lot but if Bledsoe goes down you will see that dramatic of a swing. With Vick how good were the Falcons? Without him they were something like 1-11. That dramtic enough for you. The Falcons were a pretty darn good team. Price, Duckett, and Dunn. They had a decent backup. 1-11. From second round of the playoffs to 1-11. Jets same deal.
  7. Amazing.. Sullivan talks to Gillbride and forgets to ask the million dollar follow up question? Kevin, why during the last 24 games did it not work? Why were you guys ranked near the bottom of the league? Great coverage Sully...
  8. Who are we going to get at this point to lead this team to a 8-8 season if Bledsoe goes down. Seriously? Greg Zollman strikes the fear in th hearts of no one! Look at the Falcons last year and they had a better backup than Gregg Zollman. They went from the Playoffs to doormat without Vick. Look at the Jets when they lost Chad P. Come on. Starting QB's are absolutely critical to a team sucess.
  9. Damn this got posted twice by mistake. How do you remove a thread!
  10. While I say we are still fine all around. This should be a 8-8 type team. What I will say is that at this point if Drew Bledsoe goes down with a season ending injury this is a 2-14 team. So for all those screaming what is the big deal? We lost our second and third string QB. No big deal unless Drew goes down.

  12. I agree that the O-line is not very good but how do you blame JP rolling out in practice and Troy Vincent chipping him on the O-Line? Also you cannot blame the other injury on the line. Late hit baby! Lastly, Football is a contact sport and injuries occur on every team. The Pats lost Colvin and won the Superbowl. Colvin was much more valuable than two back-up QB's.
  13. How about my boy forcing a fumble in the Colts game. The Sapester was all over the field. PROBOWL!!
  14. Jeff George... Good grief. I am going straight out to the bar I see Jeff at all the time Champps and breaking his throwing arm.
  15. I will say this the o-line still did not look good but what I liked about McNally is that he was coaching his ass off out there. I see him gather the entire until an bring out the pics from above. I watched him explain things over and over. He was constantly teaching and coaching. The guys needs a few players out there to help but the guy is giving a whole lot of effort to explain things. I am very impressed with that. The other positive I noticed was how the entire staff was focused on teaching and coaching. I loved that. Williams would talk about the teachers he would have on staff. Mularkey's staff does it instead of talk it. Last positive was just how impressed i am with Lee Evans. This guy is going to be very good.
  16. dooomed. does that get by the scanners..
  17. This guy goes from being a sure fire camp casualty to the second string QB in liss the 7 days. I remember replying to the thread questioning why we were keeping this guy around. Now we see the answer clerly. Now I am sure the Bills will bring someone else in but right now Zollman is one play away from being our starter. Watch Bledsoe go down, Zollman lead the Bills to the Superbowl. I will ask one question at that point. Greg, What was the Devil like when you sold your soul?
  18. Not for sure but it makes sense. The guy was completely untouched. It is the one time I think I can say honestly that I could have blocked a punt in the NFL.
  19. Just a few observations as it has been a long night. L Sape. Forcing a fumble. thanks buddy! I love you coming up big for me in Indy!! O-Line- Not good. Mike Williams looked awful. I watched Teague get into a argument over an assignment with big Mike. This is going to sound dumb but I really just did not like the way Williams reacted. I look at some players and they have all the ability in the world but no heart. Mike Williams has no heart. He is not a winner. I am done with him. Moving him to guard will not help. frankly, I would bench him. I would bench him for several weeks. I would be all over him if I was Jim McNally. He would sit in my dog house until I saw some heart. He looked fat and slow. I would have Eric Moulds move in with him because Eric trained 7 hours a day instead of the 7 hours all offseason that Big Mike put in. Lee Evans.- Wide open on the interception by Brown. The guy flies. He was 7 yards open if Brown hits him it is a easy TD. Eric Moulds- Still one of the best. Passing attack- Looked good when Drew had time. Willis McGahee- The guy is no where near ready to be the starter of this team. Travis Henry is light years ahead of him right now. Time may change that fact but Travis is a much better back right now. Starting Defense- Still concerned about the pass rush. All in all solid job. Special Teams- Note to Bobby April- Update your resume because that was awful. The blocked punt no one picked the guy up. Nate Clemens returning punts is a bad idea. We cannot afford any other injuries and he is not Deon back there to make it worth wild. A kick off out of bounds. Not much right.. Mike Mularkey- Punting from the Colts 37. Mike watch the game film, watch Dungy go for it from the 41. Watch the Colts connect on a long strike. Come on. Oh and the Willis to Drew flee flicker... Jesus.. Half back toss. Oh and i know. It was one preseason game. No biggie. We are not billsfanone. However, we are still not a playoff team. The QB situation does not look good. I would call a few teams that need a WR and offer Shaw for a decent third string QB. Not sure who yet. This team has a great deal of skill. We lack ability in the trenches. From what I saw today. 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 is what we look like.
  20. For those who continue to debate the whole Willis and Travis Henry saga. Please read the tip sheet from Len P. It is right on the mark! http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1868983
  21. My concern if I were him woud be how much longer can I keep taking a beating. I am sure other exec are also concerned with it. Running Backs do not last that long in this league. The question is can he survive, be productive to finally cash in on the Big Pay day.
  22. Thanks. It does make sense. Why else would he be tossing and turning if it was not a borderline hit. I don't think he tried to hurt him but maybe he feels he could have eased up a little more.
  23. I agree 100%. I think he is just nervous about the possibiity of not being traded. I think even if you really believe something is going to happen until it does their is some uncertainty
