Biden and the crises er challenge on the border
daz28 replied to Unforgiven's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's all a matter of perspective. If the game is politics, it's brilliant. If it's what's good for people, it's stupid. -
He spilled the beans in the Bartiromo interview. She's a staunch GQP shill, and she almost fell out of her chair in disbelief, that he was admitting it. Answer this, do you think Putin packs his bags and goes home day 1 if Trump is elected??? Well, do you????? LOL. That clown has you cultists believing he has some magic wand. His only options will be the same as Bidens. Beg Congress for money, or watch Ukraine lose. It's ok to agree on some things, and disagree on others. It at least shows that a person isn't a trained monkey/cultist.

Just because one side is worse than the other doesn't mean I'm choosing or taking their side. My only option is to take the lesser evil.

A lot, but he was doing a better job of deporting. I'm not a Biden shill I deal in facts, but it's also a fact that there's simply more people coming and Biden is actually apprehending millions. This bill is no dumber than Trumps wall, and costs about the same, without all the environmental damage. Not to mention it would have taken years to erect. This will take months to put in effect, but just call it a "DISASTER", while playing political theater.

Still better than 30,573 lies over 4 years. A BIGLY record that will never be broken, including the biggest in our history. "Listen Brad, I only need..."
-
I agree, and I'm glad you're not one of the Russian loving Americans who've been either pessimistic or downright against the whole thing. They listen to lyin' Trump, who claims Putin wouldn't do it if he were prez. LOL. To kill Soleimani he had to agree to accept an attack that caused 100 American casualties, and then he BRAGGED about it, while claiming he heard a few "had headaches". These soldiers are still suffering effects on their lives to this day.

Politically it is brilliant, and all Congress does now is play politics. Name the last thing they've done that was bipartisan, and good for the people. I'll wait, while you be coy about the reality of the situation. If any of you guys actually read it, you'd know it reduces and phases out over 3 years. A real 'nuke'. definitely better to do nothing, and enjoy the status quo, and play the blame game. The guy here who calls certain posters useful idiots doesn't use the term on the right posters. -
Choosing a political side instead of choosing what's right/just is the biggest problem this country has. You seem to like throwing gas on that fire.
-
Idiots doing dumb things, and dumb people backing it. Have you ever seen a Putin interview? He's VERY convincing. We already have enough Putin fans in this country.

Wouldn't it make more sense for the GQP to pass the bill, watch everything fail horribly like they predicted, then run on it??? Hmmmmmmmmmm. Lucky for them their followers can't think past the first line of a meme. -
The SCOTUS is supposed to be the mature, sane adult in the political room.
-
Sane people don't interview and don't watch interviews with Pol Pot, Hitler, Ghengis Kan, Stalin, and Putin. Well, I guess in America there is a segment that just LOVES to be lied to.

I'm speaking of the strategic plan, and the political endgame. War isn't just, "kill them and defend ourselves". It's a little more complicated. If you think getting rid of Hamas means Middle East peace, then you don't know your history. Yeah, send the money we could use to shut down the border over to Israel, alienate our Ukraine coalition, and keep complaining about the border, because you prefer the problem to be ever present for political reasons. Brilliant! Now go ahead and parrot all the crap they've been filling your head with about the bill, while not understanding what it actually does. Heil Trump!

What is better, no guns, or more guns?
daz28 replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If he wasn't suppose to have the weapon, and she allowed it is the issue. Would you argue she should have let him keep dynamite at his friend's step dad's house if it happened to save him from a lion attack? The point is AT BEST she should have known where that weapon was at all times. -
From my understanding, it would shut the border in 7 days after the infrastructure is in place. They would easily have an average of 5k encounters in the first week, and then shutdown is automatic. I really don't see how anyone can think it's better not to pass it, because you're ALWAYS going to have politics, so the silver bullet will never exist. Also, if Ukraine loses, all the cash we already spent is wasted, but it does need to be accounted for, along with the long-term strategy there. Not even sure why Israel is getting so much, because you can only bomb the rubble so many times, and they need to explain their long-term strategy as well, if we're going to keep sending them arms and money.

You think the SC is going to need to hear the Seal Team 6 argument in person??? They're going to read the 57 pages, and say, "well, not much we can do to refute any of this rationale", and decline it. Then the MAGA gang can talk about how THEIR conservative, hand-picked SC is part of the left wing deep state conspiracy to get Trump.

How was Wendy Rittenhouse not charged for allowing her minor son to have an AR-15, that he kept at his friend's step-father's place? There seems to be some degree on negligence there for sure, too. -

I own rifles, and have no kids, so it's not really a question of legality for me personally. If I owned a handgun, I'd know those rules better. I just looked up that literally hundreds of thousands of guns are stolen every year. if a gun can be stolen, then one would have to assume that a 16 year old son could just have easily accessed it if he wanted, so I disagree with your assumption that "most" owners are responsible. In this particular case I believe the gun was not secured properly, though. I agree. The school should be taking some of the brunt, too. They chose to let him stay, and didn't even look in his bag. Failures everywhere.
