You’re not. It’s a very scripted league. The refs ‘being bad at their jobs’ is the excuse the nfl has been and will continue to foster bc it allows them so much leeway in steering outcomes. The refs for the Bills Texans are also like middle school teachers and principals etc. If you can’t see the intention on behalf of the NFL you’re just in denial.

Stupid comment. We really have the dumbest population of all time.

The on cue reactions of arrogant idiots attacking and making fun of the OP is hilarious. You guys are trained seals and you don’t even know it. SO conditioned to react the way you do.

Thanks for a we'll thought out reply and I couldn't agree more

I get where you're going.  Watching that game, and the 3 key calls that contributed to our loss, and going through history the examples of horrible calls....those things can wear on your mind and cause feelings like this.  We all expect the worse.  Whenever we have a big play, I always look for the "flag" sign at the bottom of the screen.

I understand.  I don't think you've lost your credibility.  You just need a couple more days.  You'll be fine.

You're a Bills fan.  We're all in this together, man.

Thanks for a nice reply brother ?

yea a downtown stadium would've made knox or morse block that guy or duke would've caught that pass.  sure

Maybe not but it woulda stopped the blindside bull#### call, the fair catch nonsense and the 2 full seconds after 00 on 3rd and 18 I'm sure of that

THIS is exactly why the Coach McDermott win games close mentality could be a FAIL here.  If it's close a mystery flag or non call can cost us the game. The goal should be to score more points and don't the game be in jeopordy of a mysterious flag (Ford) or non call (too much time) can kill us.

Easier said than done I know, but Buffalo won't be able to break through until we can keep the gas on in the 2nd half and protect our lead.

In similar situations, Tom Landry used to say you shouldn't leave yourself in position so one bad call doesn't beat you.

    Awesome reply thanks?

  6. Bills fan since 84 here, I've seen enough to realise and know this deep down inside my soul. Countless non calls and rediculous calls by the refs against us that come in key situations and kill drives and momentum ever since I can remember, at the very least since the music City miracle. Basically any coach that comes here realises that the team will have to be SO dominant to win that it's unreal. The same goes for players in the league. Imo the players and the rest of the league are legit told when it's going to be their year to have a real shot. Imo the only real parity is the draft and free agency but I wouldn't be surprised if that's all being controlled too to a certain extent. To me the NFL has become a soap opera and I'm sick of it.  I'm not even going to speak on how unreal and terribly rigged our game was against us saturday.

Rant over thanks for the read I hope I'm wrong ?

  7.   I am so grateful for being able to watch Tre and Smoke gift us this season. Imo they are our 2 most talented players thus far this season. Both are having career years and both look like they will get even better with time. My favorite player on the team atm is Tre, he's funny as hell and boy can he ball!!!! Take a look at this article it's worth a read folks some interesting stats showing Tre as the best cb in the last 14 years.

Everyone please pray that noone gets hurt in today's game, we have a real shot this year and for many more in a row imo GO BILLS!!!!

I guess they can have a yoga mat of their choice for under their sleeping bags and a pillow of their choice each.....

The flashlight is for staying up until 2am and reading the playbook feverishly from front to back and memorizing the

    game plan of course.

11 and 5 would be great as long as we avoid injuries. My biggest concern is a formidable Jets defense with a spiteful Greg Williams at the helm inspiring cheap shots on our offense, especially to Josh Alan. I must admit that I am a little conflicted about what I want to see in this game. We do have a lot of backups that can use the reps going into the playoffs. My fingers are crossed.

Exactly my thoughts I can't warm up to a grego D that's got nothing to lose having a shot at ruining Josh Allen for the playoffs. I just can't see the bright side of it lol I get it continuity and all but it's GREGO and it's a division game so you know he's gonna tell them to take Allen out and ruin our season and perhaps our next 10 years.

Well, it's true this game is meaningless, and coming in for the playoffs fresh matters more. Playing backups more is great for them and the team.

    My thoughts exactly ?

It's half serious but I hope you guys get my point(s)

Sorry...but any injuries in this game really matter.

Does the outcome itself mean much?  No.  But this game matters a lot.

I agree imo I wouldn't play anyone important at all in this game I would carry on with the WC game plan these next 2 weeks and act as if this game against the Jets didn't even exist.....

    Too much Holiday Cheer?

Perhaps haha just very excited and would really like to see the team play to it's potential on offense. I have had a feeling that we get farther than many think we can, I feel like we called a vanilla gameplan on offense and defense starting with the Ravens when we knew we had the 5th seed locked and have been in effect watching live practice the last 2 games so that we can come out and shock the world in the playoffs and call a game plan that noone sees coming.

  11.       Picture Friday night lights the movie scene when the tight ends dad duck tapes the ball to his sons hands. That's the treatment I'd be giving John brown, Cole and especially Knox leading up to the wc game. I would have the guys live in the field house, bring a sleeping bag and a flashlight and your favorite stuffed animal. I'd send Daboll over the falls and beg Chan to come draw up packages and game plans from the WC game on(pistol please). No-one would be allowed to go home

until we can pull off a screen pass like it's second nature and if Allen's footwork or form get loose at all everyone's doing push ups and the same goes for a drop.  These guys need to have laser focus and prepare like they've never prepared before that's how they'll become champs this year or next.  Thanks for reading my rant, over and out ?

21 minutes time of possession, 268 total yards.

What game were you folks watching?  Do you not understand that defenses get fatigued when they're on the field for the majority of the game?

What about when the defense can't get off the field period and gives up multiple 10 plus yard runs????

I know people think the defense was on the field too long but I mean, look at NE** 2nd and 3rd drive:

    2nd Drive - 11 plays; 7:26

    3rd Drive - 17 plays; 8:11(started inside the 1)

At that point the Bills had had the ball twice scored 3 points and went 3 and out. The defense had been on the field for over a a quarter of football. If they were tired, it was their own doing.

    Exactly

  14. 1 hour ago, pop gun said:

Our defense gave up 414 yards, 6.1 per play, NE was 7-14 on 3rd down 1-2 on 4th down, NE also had an 11 play 7:26 minute drive for 75 yards, a 17 play 8:58 minute drive for 81 yards, an 11 play 77 yards 6:40 minute drive and total time of possession 38:52 and people want to blame Allen and the offense for this loss when they had the lead late then drove the field on the last drive to try and tie it because the defense sucked again letting NE get the lead. Really!

I couldn't have said it any better ?

Agree for the most part.   I felt our play calling on both sides of the ball was overly conservative, and coming from an old school guy that likes conservative football that is tough to say.  And we got beaten physically on both sides of the lines, with very poor tackling by the defense in addition to that.

Bottom line is Brady is Brady, and Belichick is Belichick.  The two best ever at what they do.  Brady can read what our D wants to do very quickly and get to the right play.  Belichick can take away what offenses want to do and make life miserable for young QBs.  They did what they do yesterday, and that's why they've won the division for what seems like forever.  But we're close now, and it's going to turn soon.

I agree we are knocking on the door, Josh is getting better and better just needs a real open when not wideout and a bruising short/hard yard rb and our offense will be set. Other than that a couple minor tweaks on defense and we're a contender (already a contender might I add ?)

Like I said on that defense that's not too shabby, if we could've run the ball and stopped the run it was a different game neither are Josh's shortcoming

The Pats did expose our CB depth after Tre White. It seemed like they went with 4 WR a lot tonight. Our nickel package was totally abused. Against the Patriots it would be nice to have a man to man CB just follow Edelman around the field and shut him down.

    Agreed that's what I saw

  16. We were gashed by the run and on the "extension of the run game" being screens/flats to their rb's.

We couldn't generate practically any pressure at all as far as a pass rush goes(when we did they had the right play called to bust it).

Allen while missing a couple throws played about as good as you can against that defense and kept us in the game. He made a couple bombs and got Cole over 100 yards again once a team took away smoke. No fumbles no picks and 2 TDS against this defense is a damn good performance not to mention a 102 passer rating. Get the kid 1 more good rb to hand off to as well as a Julio Jones/ Plax type wideout to be 1a or 1b outside across from smoke and I think we will become dominant next season.

The needle is pointing up everyone Josh Allen has us in striking distance against the Ravens and now the pats 2 of the best teams in the NFL . We really need to replace Zo and Hughes and then I think we will be set.

    On to the playoffs ?

Weird how Ben didn’t really improve much through his career. 2019 Brady is still better than 2004 Brady.

Brady had a rough out in this game haha and it did take Ben a little bit to be elite reminds me of Allen's trajectory currently and he's certainly bought himself time with us headed to the playoffs in his sophomore year with a whole new roster on offense to try and work with . I can't wait to see Josh play next year I think he puts the icing on the cake and becomes a top 5-10 qb next season
