However, he does have 462 career receptions...sure it’s over a number of seasons, but I think his high is 61.

I know he used to be a heck of a jack of all trades ala Fred Jackson but he isn't that anymore so I guess his latest version lines up as far as running styles and looking for contact and falling forward and going north south are what reminds me most of Freddy j.

    ...just a stupid freak.

When they signed him I thought it was great and was hoping he'd provide us with Kenny Davis type 600+ yards for the season...good times.

In between, Shady gets cut and Singletary is out for a number of games...bad times.

Except for this Godfather of Ground and Pound said "f*** that...get on my back" and he is currently 16th in the NFL in rushing (keep in mind we had a bye) with 388 yards and he is 12th in yards per carry for guys who have rushed 70 or more times.

Not only is he one of only 4 men to rush for 15,000 career yards (known), but he is on pace this season to become the oldest player (36) in NFL history to run for 1,000 yards (did you know that?   also waiting for that guy I'm missing who actually did it older than 36...but just stay with me on this joy ride).

Of all the surprises this season, seeing the other teams DLines "Gored" by this man has been one of the most surprising.

He needs 134 more yards in the next two games to pass Barry Sanders for third all time in front of Bills fans.

I am hoping he does it, and I am hoping some of you feel the same way, unless you are one those "safe spacers" that doesn't think that it is right for Frank to get all those manly carries as it would hurt Devin's feelings.

...ahh, you see...I went political.  My apologies.

GO BILLS and GO FRANK...you freak.

I see Gore as Fred Jackson minus the receiving talent Fred had.....very similar runners

Of course all the usual stuff out there you hear injuries..week to week..any given Sunday...but we win that game we have a very real chance to goto Dallas on Thanksgiving 10-1 who would have thunk it?

I agree it's a big game, I'll be there in attendance, to me this game is similar to the Bengals game, this is a middling opponent that can get hot and we get a chance to see if our team is smoke and mirrors or if it handles business again against an average team(not great not terrible but average). This game will reveal alot about what the team is made of. If we come out and roll over them we are completely legit imo. If we struggle a lot I might begin worrying about some of the other games on our schedule a bit more....what really is important to me is this is another good bit of practice for the offense to further figure things out and tune up for New England week 16 and the other tougher teams on our schedule jmo

Billsblue... I'm not somebody with an ego thats going to pound you into the ground. Its just my opinion. I have love for everybody. I will say I watched the video several times. Lee Smith is a different guy but I think hes pretty cool. I enjoyed what he had to say about Duke.

All in all it was an awesome video great insight into the teams mentality and their brotherhood, I just found a little hidden entertainment in the "human being" description of his teammates is all and even Tasker seemed puzzled on the last time he said it was all, I'm glad he's on the team he's that gritty blocking tight end who can make a big catch when need be ?

I'm usually not negative but this thread sucks.

I do enjoy how he describes this team being close as being a bunch of guys you'd want on your side in a bar fight.?

I see that wolf pack mentality on this team, these guys go to war together on sundays it's great to watch!!

  6. Like I said I like the guy I just thought him saying "human beings" 5 times was a bit odd, other than that it was a great interview and I guess that made it a bit more interesting lmao

I'd have some beers with him.

If you did you'd be a great "human being"

Apparently he was also tearing up when talking about the young TEs he is mentoring in Sweeney and Knox...

MCD has these guys fully bought in its great to see!!

And as been said in another thread, while that Bye Week came early, it is timely as well with all the injuries

Ain't it the truth and we come in knowing who our playmakers are on offense too so we can cook up a serious offensive game plan for the rest of the season, Gore and yeldon have been great then you get a shot in the arm with singletary back to be the slash/ take it to the house guy, Duke showed what he can add for our redzone trips, Knox is gaining traction as a playmaker to account for, Brown and Beasley are the icing on the ?

The math looks great. 4-1 with a very easy schedule.

WINS.  Dolphins, Redskins, Broncos, Dolphins, Jets.  They are a combined 0-20 or something like that.  You get to 9 WINS.

SPLIT these GAMES.  Eagles, Browns, Ravens, Steelers, Cowboys, Patriots.  You get to TWELVE wins.

12-4 is my prediction.  #5 seed.

This seems reasonable to me, our defense makes em all winnable the only games I'm worried about are the pats and cowboys tbh

  9. I just want to take a second and say wow what an awesome start to the season? It's not often that we get to go into the abyss that is the bye week with a bounce in our step. I'd say that the team has met what I thought our ceiling was with our current roster so far this year. MCD deserves applause what an awesome coach, he has brought a championship caliber swagger to this team. The teams focus especially on defense is awesome to see. It's nice to see Edmunds earning his freakazoid name tag ? almost every big play on defense ends with him creaming the ball-carrier!!! John Brown was a genius value add by Beane as was Beasley and the chemistry is budding nicely between them and JA. Frank Gore made shady expendable he's a machine and I feel lucky to see him ride off into the sunset a Bill.  I can't wait to see what Duke has in store for us in the future as well as Knox and Singletary ? Hold on boys and girls it's fixing to be an interesting season, who knows how good this team can be once the offense gels further and the same can be said for the defense that's already playing championship ball?

I would bring up Duke over Zay Jones and tell him "Duke this is your shot show us the best football you've ever played in your career against the Titans, we're going to start you opposite smoke and throw it your way 8-10 times in the game. If you can hold up your end of the bargain and produce you're starting again after the bye"?

We don't need to trade for another wide out and waste Beanes prescious draft capital this guy just needs a shot, throw him some deep shots and some redzone work and see if he can change the offense and take the heat off Brown. We want to see someone with hands here he is. Watch his college highlights so I don't have to hear you whine about his running starts in the cfl and him not being able to translate to the NFL. The big thing I see in his college highlights is he caught many poorly placed slightly innacurate balls and always fought to help his qb unlike Zay Jones.

This kids strengths align with what Allen needs in a Wr at this stage in his growth.

I'm just gonna put this here I'm quoting myself from the thread I started that was merged earlier this afternoon about what I would do if I was coach and I posted that a few hours before videos are being posted of Duke and ja in practice getting ready for Sundays game ??

Just been feeling it lately Dukes what we've been missing on the boundary and across the middle ?

As long as no one expects Duke to be the second coming of Anquan Boldin, expectations should be tempered. I personally just want to see a player who’s hungry for the football. Someone who has that junk yard dog in him to fight for everything thrown his way. If he can show that, I’m good. I’m not expecting a superstar, just hoping for a reliable target who can bail his QB out once in awhile. He deserves a shot to succeed or fail.

Exactly basically someone who can help Josh Allen's flaws be minimized is what we need . The kid needs his Eric molds, or plax, or Mike Williams etc
