Nothing to do with a single hit/play.

It all has to do with coaching, Dorseys/Josh's aggressive styles.  When they're on their A-game, few will be beat them.

Problem is, being overly aggressive comes with risks.  It's a very fine line.

Someone needs to take that 4th quarter game tying drive, and put it on replay for Josh's. Showing him its OK to checkdown the ball.

I like this take and if it isn't a concussion etc this seems spot on

There was at least 5 plays Allen could have checked it down for positive yards

I think it's the expectations and fame thinking he has to be Superman every game

The 4 red zone ints have been inexcusable though and not on the coaches. He looked like a rookie on them throws

Why can't 17 ever check it down. It's killing us and been a theme his whole career

He was taking the yac plays earlier this year or we were scheming them more/the short game was great, I dunno what happened to our bread and butter 7-12 yards passing plays that were indefensible

He forced all sorts of balls last season. He just got hot at the back end of the year and the playoffs so we assumed he shook that from his ethos permanently.

Fast forward to this 2022…he didn’t.

(He also said for the first time in his career he took an offseason off. It may not be to blame.  But after three brutal weeks it’s a worthy talking point)

I guess you might be onto something the way he closed the year out was unreal, I think he's missing beez too

Trent Edwards sucks and to compare him to josh completely takes away anything else you ever have to say

an all pro compared to Trent Edward? Put down the whiskey

Lmao 🤣  maybe I was a bit dramatic with the te comparison but hey st least you made me laugh after that crappy loss lolol I'm more so comparing the stark difference in play after taking s huge shot to the head not talent levels

It makes for an interesting hypothesis, but I disagree.

Inconsistency has always been a part of Josh's game.

It's worse lately than we have seen in a long time, but I just don't think you get a magic excuse to wash his sins away like that.

This is such an absurd level of boneheaded play, he's been money for 2 years straight going tino this season

He's been playing careless with the ball throughout the season, defenders have often not been able to punish it.

More batted balls at the line than any time before, throwing balls into the back of your O-linemen's head, staring down guys from snap to throw, allowing coverage to know exactly where you're going with the ball...

It's not like he just started the turnovers in GB, he was already doing that prior. Difference is he was able to balance that out a bit with positive drives & points.

And just like with the COVID season, Josh plays best when he's absolved from so much pressure. When things are well, he can ride it & keep it going, but when he's in a slump, he forces things, gets desperate, then regresses on everything from reading defenses to going through progressions, to even bad mechanics...

It's just odd it's been such a dramatic change, I just wonder if it's a concussion or play calling or both smh 🤦

You might be on to something but it has really been since the bye that these RZ ints have happened.

It's definitely something psychological.  Either concussion or just the expectations getting to him.

He refuses to check down which could be a huge wrinkle in the O and allows the D to ignore the check downs.

Something ain't right and my expectations went way down. He cost us the last 2 games

He's smarter than throwing to the wrong team, he doesn't play like this, he hasnt forced throws since his sophomore season, somethings wrong with his processing or vision

  7. Something just isn't right with our #17 our boy Blue. To me it all started after the play during the  Green Bay game where Josh tries to run the ball in the end zone down the sideline and is met with a very large DT face mask to face mask. I think Josh has been playing with a concussion since that hit and there was a hit in the jets game where Josh was on his hands and knees shaking his head side to side as well where he seemed to have had his bell rung. Flame away but this isn't how JA17 plays, somethings seriously not right and it reminds me of Trent Edward's after the Wilson hit and I'm scared...........

Yes they do.  We used to go to Hamburg Beach and Evengola State Park regularly as well as several others in Angola.

Cant forget the short ride to Crystal Beach either in Canada 😃

Calling it now……Greg Rousseau gets double digit sacks in 2022.

#1 - Von Miller on the other side getting double teamed ……lots of 1on1 action for GR.

#2 - Learning from Von Miller is gonna take his game to the next level.

#3 - Our offense is gonna force alot of opponents to throw the ball to try and play catch-up …….GR will be able to pin his ears back and eat.

#4 - A full year in Buffalo’s strength and conditioning program.

i feel good about him in 22…….12-15 sacks…..calling it now!

I'm with it he's a freak of a specimen for sure and we added to dt as well upgraded our coverage(hopefully) with elam

You people on this crusade are going to be awfully disappointed when his 5th year option and long term extension get signed.   I can't wait

He's not worth the money, he has poor instincts, the kid we drafted is his replacement sooner than later bank on it, there's only so much money to go around

  11. I mean on one hand he barely had a chance to punt outside of a couple games but on the other when he did punt he was the worst punter I've ever watched in my life on any team in the nfl, every time he punted I was waiting for another shank.............

  12.                I've been doing some thinking about how the offense will evolve moving forward in the absence of Beez and Sanders next season.

I assume this is probably what's going to happen as Beez is on the last year of his contract and it's been a tough year PR wise as well he's lost a step and a half. I see us being better for him leaving the team at this point in his career and also because Mckenzie is ready to be featured and opens up our offense and makes it very hard to defend with all that he brings to the table. As far as Sanders goes I wonder if he has another season in the tank or not??  Is mckenzie enough to replace what 2021 Sanders and Beez bring to the table?? Also worth noting is Gabe Davis, he seems to be ready to be as full time starter opposite Diggs now and for the future plus he can get open deep(this makes Sanders more loseable imo). A different player at a different position is absolutely primed to be a feature player(not just in TDs like this year but in YARDS too) next season is Knox, he will be a superstar next season and this helps the loss of Beez and Sanders be less also.

So with that said I bring you your most potent Offense imo of 2022  while opening the cap up a little

    Diggs                                                 Knox                    Davis

                            Mckenzie

                                           Allen  Singletary

I hope we run this a bit Sunday, it's a pick your poison set of players and people get open when these guys are all out there as well it keeps defenses off balance

with the pre snap motions with mckenzie and makes running so much easier as well as passing!!

Jerry has been a lightening rod to the Bills organization. During the drought era there were times when the Bills deserved what he was dishing up.  The exchange above was a low blow on his part and could have been phrased sooooo differently. As simple as, “Micah everyone knows this is a tough loss, what will you do to digest it and let the sour taste out of your mouth?”

    Where was Jerry last night?

They should both have Jerry sit down and ask him if he's embarrassed for the pats 🤣
