My only fear is the Saints had consciously or subconsciously written off the season and decided this game would definitely be their "Super Bowl".

He really seems to have embraced the mentality (and he actually said this) of: a play is breaking down, and sure, he could try to make some highlight-reel worthy type 1/1000000 kind of save, but for what? Was the risk worth the reward? As others have said, it helps we might actually be able to bludgeon teams with the run game, so Josh doesn't start feeling like he has to do everything (until he has to). Some of it is maturation, and constantly improving. I'm glad the "new" Josh Allen we saw last year is simply Josh Allen.

For any other team, it's the week where the underdog comes out and plays a spirited game, maybe even steals it. The way McDaniel sounded after the last game (and yes I know he always sounds like he's... enhanced) it feels like he's lost the locker room and knows it. Plus they're battling some key injuries, we seem to have completely solved Tua, Josh owns the Phins (especially at home)... What a start if we can put this away early like the Jets and use the mini-bye to get guys healthy. We have our own key injuries and they would have come at "the right time".

Nice showing after last week. Just a methodical wear down and beatdown of an opponent that has almost as much talent but is less than the sum of their parts. Fields ain't it at this time, either.

Great Value Ravens were not up to the task. They have talent and I think the coach is good but there's still tiers apart and the Jets players body language/sideline manner says it all.

The game might be a struggle but we should be fine. I can't imagine us: a) coming out as poorly on defense as last week and b) losing this game because we don't have Ed Oliver (much love to big Ed).
