I’m very happy with how far we made it.

If we lose it will be a groin snap kick for sure and I'll be in a dark mood for at least a week but yes, I am very happy with this season. My expectations were low, still felt we were the front runner for the AFC East until proven otherwise, but expected a choppy season like the end of last (have to go on a heater to win the division). We all read the reports in last years training camp, and I was aware that Diggs had worn out his welcome/was becoming toxic. And ole' Gabe Davis was never meant to be a #2 but he was about to be paid like one. So even though there was the possibility of addition through subtraction, the expectation was a step back offensively, since you're losing your #1 and #2 receivers from the previous season. Everybody ate, and even though we haven't fully integrated Cooper, we've been obviously fun to watch. Aside from the blip at the beginning of the season and the inability to stop the Rams (at all), the boys took care of business. They won another game they allegedly had no chance of winning on Sunday. It's a fun group of guys, and yes winning fixes everything. Probably the smoothest Bills season since 2020... no midseason swoon, just what turned out to be a star-crossed chase for the #1 seed. Watching them break records and stacking wins made for an enjoyable season. Seeing Josh at his best... stats aside, his beautiful refusal to try stupid sh!t has fully unleashed his potential. Even though there was a point in November when I just wanted the damn playoffs to start. -
I am, FWIW. The recent vintage of Bills/Chiefs feel like coinflips, but we're right there. This iteration of the Bills don't seem to be "in their own heads". Our boys also get a +1 or +2 buff this week with all the early talk immediately following last night's game that the better team, i.e. the Ravens, lost the game and the Bills got lucky, or the game was rigged, or some other BS. Feed your outrage, fellas. Everybody eats!

Great game, the slugfest I expected. Proud and pleasantly surprised by the defense. Then again, it's this team's trademark (step up when disrespected) and they did it again tonight (IMO). Baltimore couldn't overcome three turnovers, and I don't blame them. If anything, it feels like it should have been easier for us, so credit their defense.

Sucks for Lions and some sympathy considering the injuries, considering what we went through last year. Daniels looking studly.

Tough matchup for sure. Without taking anything from the Ravens, we were obviously short-handed the first game. Praying this was the case for us getting gashed. And yes, my hazy recollection of the game was we we're pulling ourselves back, then called that atrocious trick play and the Ravens just steamrolled us from there. Hoping the perceived lack of respect has the boys frothing at the mouth for a physical, slugfest type of game. These Bills, even after having "arrived", seem to bring out their best when they feel the world is against them, and they're viewed as a loveable group of overachievers. So perhaps the Vegas line and the narrative that it's "Josh Allen and a bunch of scrubs" will be the Bills MVP this Sunday.

They've got cars big as bars They've got rivers of gold But the wind goes right through you It's no place for the old When you first took my hand On a cold Christmas Eve You promised me Broadway was waiting for me You were handsome You were pretty Queen of New York City When the band finished playing They howled out for more Sinatra was swinging All the drunks they were singing We kissed on a corner Then danced through the night The boys of the NYPD choir Were singing Galway Bay And the bells were ringing out For Christmas day

One of my favourite Bills and (for me) second only to Allen as a case study of what happens when everything goes right for the Bills. Just a masterclass from scouting through drafting, development, and ascension to the leader of the defense. My money is on him as their best playmaker after Allen. He's delivered all of the splash I wanted/expected out of Edmunds and done it in a year and a half. I'm worried about his durability, otherwise he's everything I could ask for in an elite modern LB. He's smart, tough, quick, and has God-tier football GPS. Yes, the scheme is set to funnel him these opportunities but that's the point and he's actually converting. Some players are simply playmakers and like our quarterback, TB makes game changing highlights on the regular. As an aside, it seems we haven't really seen our best defenders (Bernard, Milano, Rousseau, Oliver, Benford, Johnson) play together for meaningful stretches. Much of that is Milano and the departed Tre White, but without making excuses it seems we've had a 1.5-2 year stretch where the defense was only ever 80% of what it really was. Maybe we can finally see what this unit is really capable of. Maybe I'm still drunk.
