  1. Truth, this is after putting up 3 points in the first last week. Lots to unpack over the bye, and I've given up hope they're keeping the good stuff on wraps. It's a week to week league, get back to winning the week. I have no choice but to have faith in TPTB. Unless this is Dorsey redux and the crew mutinies. I love Cook's emotion. He signed this big contract and he still wants more. He wants to win, and he knows for the Bills to have any hope of that he has to be a big part. I am hoping Beane, McDermott, and Allen have a heart to heart while coming to Jesus moment and they go all in and made a big move, f'k them #1 picks, whatever it takes (Rogers looking at Stark... whatever it takes).
  2. For me, it's the meta strategy that starts with McD. I get what he's trying to do, but its protect the defense, so possess the f out of the ball and punish their defense with cumulative clock killing offensive series that last like 5+ minutes. We choke the f out of them and win on our terms. The issue is we seem to gameplan around scoring on each possession, and when we don't, we run out of possessions. Do we have a gear for score quick? It seemed like we had the 2-minute killer instinct in weeks 1-4, but was it all a mirage and a function of lesser opposition? In Brady's defense, we don't seem to have much offensive firepower outside of Allen and Cook. Kincaid was trending up but is hurt, and Shakir's a nice piece who can't dominate a game by himself. I've seen this kind of defensive strategy against the Bills during the drought: play us straight up and dare us to beat them, because we can't win 1 on 1s. Allen's getting blitzed regularly as word is out on the street that teams don't fear "someone beating us deep". I'm still hoping and praying that as flawed as we are, so is everyone else, and we're getting our wtf stretch out of the way early.
  3. Have to agree with you. Bernard has been my guy and when he's on he's one of our best "splash" players. But between him and Milano, it's the same thing, always, and we end up being shorthanded and having to figure it out with what's left. A damn shame.
  4. At this risk of being unacceptably positive, the last time the Bills really had their backs against the wall (end of '23) after that Eagles loss and the Dunne article... they played like their hair was on fire the rest of the way. It's early and we're flawed but so is everyone else! amirite? I do get bad vibes if the head coach and offensive stars are souring on the o-coord, publicly.
  5. Memories back when she was bold and strong And waiting for the world to come along... Swears she knew it, now she swears he's gone She lies and says she's in love with him, can't find a better man... She dreams in color, she dreams in red, can't find a better man... She lies and says she still loves him, can't find a better man... She dreams in color, she dreams in red, can't find a better man... Can't find a better man Can't find a better man

  11. It hurts to turn the radio on My stamina's gone My spirit is weak Because every time I start to move on Keep hearing that song I'm brought to my knees To permanently see in reverse Take the remorse out of defeat Because everything that's under my skin Where I end and begin Still belongs to me
  12. Drought level ineptitude on offense, except we have Josh Allen, James Cook, and one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. The penalties were atrocious, totally playing down to an opponent and letting them make a game out of it. When we lose tough games comparisons with the drought get thrown out casually (I am the worst offender) but this was "it". 3 points in the first half, with a stacked roster (game changing boundary WR notwithstanding). It had the drought ending where the defense, who had been derided going in to the game, played well enough to keep us in the game in the first half. And then couldn't make a stop when we needed it at the end. Particularly egregious was the third down escape by Maye where he made a Josh Allen style play: falling down and still enough arm strength to get it to Diggs who played his mind out in his revenge game. Josh made some questionable decisions, and was getting smoked for good portions of the game. It was all there, driven into turf on his right side, the classic head bounce off the turf for good measure a couple times as well. Rousseau and Epenesa had great first halves in particular, and both made some plays in the second half. Kincaid had a nice game, although he also took some hits to the head. Keon had some good plays but all you remember later is that damn fumble. Cook looked like he was almost ready to break some huge runs but it never happened. Tell me if you've seen this movie before: a Mike Vrabel team out-physicals the Bills. I don't know if it's because the Patriots were treating this like their Super Bowl and we were looking past them. I hope that's the answer. I know there's structural issues with this team, but there is no perfect team in the NFL (no, not the Colts). We're still one of the elite. But really hoping this is one of those bilp games we have every year. And truth be told, putting all those division titles aside during the Josh era, we've "done this" before. You know, where the Bills inexplicably lose to an allegedly, vastly inferior division opponent. It's happened to Saleh's Jets (twice), McDaniels Phins (the second game last year required a career highlight by Bass), and a Mac Jones lead Pats squad. Onto the Falcons, I guess.
  13. Obviously brutal and especially to them. Maye looked great. Hopefully we weren’t humbled and paid for it. Like every other team we have issues. that many penalties, the turnovers, the bad decisions by Josh, and getting out physicalled by another Vrabel team… hopefully it’s a flush and move on. Lots to work on. Onto Falcons on MNF
  14. Still in this rock fight, come on defense /beg
  15. Epenesa, Rousseau and Bernard with some nice/great plays, Kincaid with some nice catches and Cook is reliable without any breakouts other than that, some of the worst bills football I’ve seen in awhile on offense. All the talk all week about our defense being trash, they showed up tonight.
  16. Obviously satisfying to see Diggs drop that
  17. We seem a bit sluggish and out of sorts… rash of penalties early
  18. I was in your wet dream Driving in my car Saw you at the side of the road There's no one else around You're touching yourself, touching yourself Touching your, touching yourself Touching yourself You said, "Baby, do you want to come home with me? I've got Buffalo '66 on DVD" You said, "Baby, do you want to come home with me? I've got Buffalo '66 on DVD"
