Brady is not allowed to age and not allowed to be hit in any manner. We all want him gone. But this year we need to defy the refs and the NFL and deliver the knockout blow to finish him for good.

looks like we have the group on defense to get to him this year.   week 4 will be huge

How soon we forget.  I realize we are 2-0, that is nice and all but dude, we are still in the Jets class unless we keep it up this season.

yeah, I still don't think this is the year.  could be, but too many loose ends , Giants were rallying until that def holding penalty got bills out of 2nd and 25.  these first two games have been pretty close against really beat up teams.  we'll see ... trust the process

We're a six win team from last year that beat a four win team from last year.  I don't expect a 17-16 victory to propel us into the top 20.

I don't even think this is the year they break out.   I'm thinking next year.

Allen still just so raw.  He will lose a couple games all by himself this year.

    Trust the process.

Just awoke from the sound of thunder.

Listening to some Bills players interviews and the one thing they keep repeating is playing Bills football

Tre White, Jerry Hughes , Ed Oliver keep repeating just play Bills Football

McDermott has obviously built a team and a culture that has bought into playing Bills football and they seem genuinely excited to be apart of this team

What is Bills football? Everybody will probably have a somewhat different answer

The only thing that it needs to be... Hard Working, resilient and a winner

I think we are on our way

Well, they are also just trying to get out of the interview... that's such a "catch-phrase".  Players everywhere use it.  Interviewer: "what unique things did you do to win the game"  Answer:  " we just played 'Bills Football'.   Yawn... change channel...

    1. QB Tyree Jackson likely to start preseason finale

In the final game of the Bills preseason it looks like undrafted rookie QB Tyree Jackson will see his most extensive action. Though head coach Sean McDermott didn’t fully confirm the UB product as the starter against the Vikings on Thursday night, he indicated that he is leaning that way.

“We’re still in conversations about that, but more than likely I would say,” McDermott said.

To this point in the preseason, Jackson has just 24 pass attempts and eight completions. He has also rushed for 32 yards.

On Thursday night, with most of the starters not expected to take the field, Jackson could eclipse those figures knowing he’ll be getting the most playing time he’s seen in a Bills uniform.

Jackson has not been the beneficiary of a lot of reps in practice either as the offensive staff is focused on getting Josh Allen and Matt Barkley ready for the regular season, but McDermott has seen Jackson make strides with his personal game.

oh boy.  all goosebumps over here.

find something else to do during this one... yikes

  6. 1> don't watch preseason football.  It is garbage and tells you very little.

2> bills had an above .500 roster and were playing at a .500 plus level at the end of last year, in real games, so a lift this year should come as no surprise

3> remember,  most other teams have gotten better as well

4> turnovers lose games and a rash of IR - type injuries end playoff runs, so those are always factors

Lets get to the end of next month and see how the Process is progressing.   If a bunch of key guys are going doing down for the year, it usually happens in the first month of the season.   After that, the IR type injury stuff settles down.  Then we can judge if this group is better than the one that exited 2018.

Hughes is a top-10 Edge Rusher in the NFL. Sure he's toward the bottom of that list, but led the league in % of snaps he pressured the QB. If we get even league average from the opposite DE spot & from Oliver, Hughes' sack #s will improve.

you have to assume Murphy will be healthy enough to give them 10-14 strong games this year.  Get 10+ healthy games out of him and we should be good.  when healthy, he is very good.. watched him with Redskins here in DC, he can be a force

It's gonna be a bit different if the good teams we face aren't playing prevent offense by the second half.

yeah the whole #2 defense ranking is a garbage stat..   6-10 is the stat that matters

I think that in today’s offense the ball comes out so quickly that the traditional edge rusher is becoming a relic much like the hike stuffing middle linebacker. By the time an edge pushes upfield and curls into the QB, the ball is gone.

Instead, today’s game requires a strong push up the middle to collapse the picket, forcing the QB to essentially roll out of the pocket and into a sack.

yep, clean pickets are no gude

  9. If the O LIne is a mess, you can kiss the playoffs good bye right now.   I did not know Morse's extensive injury and especially concussion history.  If he and other O Line starters go down for extended periods , then the whole off season FA goodwork is lost and so is the season.  Unless you have a HOF QB, a team in today'sNFL cannot survive its O Line being decimated by injury.

Healthy is the operative word.  McDermott and Beane are hanging a lot on Murphy being the player they hoped they found last year.  If he's not healthy, the pass rush will suffer this year, again.

Agreed.  Charles Clay was a game changer when healthy as well.   He was never healthy.   Result :  his NFL career worked out exceedingly well... for him.
