Just imagine how good John Brown would be if there was a big fast can separate AND Catch guy across from him?
To me these there the things needed to get this O into the top 10

One more legit pass threat
Not sure this is the year, bc the offense has a ways to go....McBeanes need another offseason to keep building the offensive roster talent... getting there. Isaiah Mckenzie is not an NFL player and neither was Zay Jones.. Gore, Brown, Beasley and Kroft are NFL players. Singletary, Foster, Duke and the rookie TEs might be, can't tell yet. Kroft needs to get going. Lotta very raw young guys runnin around out there in the offensive skill positions (including the QB) which means things will come and go
They are getting there. Can only do so much in one offseason. Plus Allen needs to mature, and he is. I can see the top 10 teams holding them to under 15 points without too much trouble. Allen just isn't there. He's still running around a lot thinking about the long ball.. he'll be ok.. just needs some time, so does Singletary

We'll see. Phins go up 21-9 , not sure Bills make it back. They were close to losing to the Jets and the Bengals. Things breaking right for this bunch. no complaints, but lets just keep winning. They beat the Eagles, people will start taking notice. Probably not until then. Maybe this is the year they go far, simply bc the AFC is beat up or rebuilding. Could be 6 10 win teams in the NFC.

But we're not ready and it's only McDermott's third season and the team is still young and building and what not...
Trust the Process, but the OP makes a point. Go win some games, things might fall into place this year. Way too early to tell. Keep the popcorn popping. Go bills.
Will be in town this weekend to visit two ailing moms (mine and my wifes) . What is the best WNY bar to watch the game now , get some wings, you know, the usual?

in the NFL ,as long as you stay clean and don't become antonio brown, if you can play you can play, so he will get his shot. Gotta love a big WR with great hands. we shall see

Rex is a good fit. The best candidates would want nothing to do with that ownership induced tire fire.
Rex is such an opportunist and self promoter. Gotta hand it to him. He makes a fortune at it.

So, I am super excited about the rest of this year, and I believe we can make the playoffs due to the AFC being weak this year, and our dominate Defense. Shouldn't we be very concerned about how little our offense scores? We really need to hope our offense continues to grow between now and the end of this season. There are going to be games the defense can't hold our opponents to under 25 points, and we will need Allen to step it up in the coming weeks.
relax. It'll be next year, after another draft and FA period, and after Allen's second year, before the offense catches up to the defense in terms of talent and effectiveness. Still have questions on the O Line and WR, and Allen is obviously still pretty raw.
For McBeanes, this is all just a process of roster upgrade after roster upgrade. Will take a full 3 years. This is year 3. Next year is the year, IMHO. This year, just get to 10 wins and get in the tournament again. they ain't winnin' anything this year.
at this time last year, you all wanted to fire the whole lot of them.. keep your pants on

Buffalo is cold, dead, nothing to do there, no one wants to live there, FA go there to die, lost 4 SB, Music City Forward Lateral, 1 playoff appearance in 20 years, and the Pats have won many SB while dominating the division for years. The media narrative has been built up for about 20 years now. 'm, 'm all, especially now that we're building something legit.
Correct. IMO, having listened to the jabs for the 35 years I've been down here in No. Va. , when the Bills demonstrate greatness on the field, the narratve will shift to how bad the area is. There is no hope for the media narrative to improve. The market is so small, no one has ever been there that did not grow up there, there is simply nothing to write about. If the NFL re started today, WNY wouldn't get a sniff at a franchise. Just enjoy it. Don't look for Buffalo to suddenly be cool in the eyes of anyone.

Beane has been excellent. Hitting on high picks and also late rounders. Ford needs to go to guard and Zay traded to be A+

Good. Glad both coaches from the RGIII era have suffered the same fate RGIII was forced to face.
Hope the Skins get an actual good coach, versus the latest hype coach, to usher in the Dwayne Haskins era.
Commuting to work will be h-ll today. Pooping, moaning and car wrecks everywhere.

yeah, wearing jerseys is questionable and a give in to the NFL and profits. $150 jerseys do nothing but feed the NFL beast.

Now all I need is to see Zay inactive and Foster, Duke playing.
Zay doesn't strike me as a "money" player. Nice player, just not a "$$" player. Duke seems like he might be a fighter. We'll see.

Sorry, I’m just tired of the “we suck” after narrowly losing to the defending champs and one of the top 2 teams in the league. It wears me out! You are correct, the right side needs fixing. I don’t know what we can do mid-season....at the right value. I suspect they will hold their water and do it right after the season, while hoping we gel and get better this year.
yeah, there is maybe one window to do something, the bye week ... once that has come and gone, the roster is the roster , IMO. and major changes wait until the offseason.

I am with Howard. For me to pick them to beat the Patriots they gotta show me they can beat the Patriots.
I just don't see this as the year. Nice start , but Giants (early) and Bengals (late) showed the defense can be scored on , and Allen is still pretty raw and will throw a couple to the other side on Sunday. Pats won't allow turnovers to be wasted like the Bills 1st three opponents did. This game could be over very quickly. We shall see. McBeanes know what they are doing. The tide is going to turn at some point. When is the issue.

OP, do you honestly think the Bills should be favored? We’re playing the 2 time Defending Super Bowl Champs who haven’t had a TD scored on their Defense yet, through 3 games. If you were Vegas, you wouldn’t consider this a close game?
Hell, I’m thinking of playing Bills +7 and that’s just what they’re hoping for.
i'd take a 7 point loss at this point in the process. shows that we can hang with the best team in the league. this is not the season. weird sh-t can happen and they could pull out an unlikely win, but I doubt it. you need to have a heck of an offense to get through the Pats this year. Only 3 or 4 teams can do that. bills are not one of them.

tight game as always at the Ralph, but probably an L. Brady looks as good as ever and their D is solid. Tough combination. I just don't think this is the year they break out. Injuries starting to pile up. Allen still throwing it all over the place. Pats will turn INTs in TDs. they are the class of the league again.

The most anticipated game of the season so far and you are going to blow right past it and look to Tennessee? OK.
Bills aren't winning Sunday. I just don't see it with Allen still in training pants
Maybe next year. Pats in a class all by themselves now.

Hard to disagree...
BUT, he's still young and inexperienced. This may not be the year he leads the Bills to the promised land, but playoffs are very realistic.
Growing pains and learning moments...those typically come with losses. Bills are 3-0 despite certain issues. If they can correct some issues and get out of their own way, watch out.
for my money , this is not the year. weak schedule weeks 1-3. expect to get spanked a little next week. hope I'm wrong, but the offense gonna have some problems next week. D will need to be huge

A run this year? Nah, don't think so. Jets, Phins and Titans all had them beat. Mariota had his foot a foot over the line or that game is lost. Jets def holding saves the Bills in that one, and Fitzy is Fitzy at the goal to screw up 21-9. Trust the process, these guys are not as good as the record. Now the schedule looks favorable, no doubt, but that would be the only reason they "make a run". Keep your high draft choices Beane, you are an excellent drafter of talent. That is the only way a roster in WNY can be built for the long term. Pats are trying to win a Super Bowl. We are just working to get back to the tournament this year.
