Is McGee Returning Kicks this year?
Sen. John Blutarsky replied to BuffaloTendencies's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's playing in the US so he'll be playing Defense. Only the Leaves, Habs, Flames, Senators, Oilers and Canucks have Defencemen. -

I'm sorry. Do you ever make a post that doesn't require a scroll down to finish? -

She's 5' 10". I'm 6'3" That works. Plus she's an athlete so you know it's nice under the wrapping. Whatever I like girls with athletic skills anyway. I asked my wife out on out first date because we were playing co-ed football and I accidentally drilled a throw at her and she caught it, turned upfield and juked the chick who was covering her. She got ten times hotter when she did that. Most girls would duck and cover, or cry. -
Andre Davis vs. Sam Aiken

13 yards a punt return last year...that doesn't show you anything? He would have led the league but our defense was so bad he didn't have enough return to qualify. Roscoe isn't gonna catch 80 balls ever, but he's gonna catch 40 and take at least one punt to the house. Think Dante Hall, he's not a top 2 receiver but ask KC if they want to cut him. -

He was the #2 back and was getting time on 3rd down a la Shaud WIlliams last year. He was going to see a lot of the field. What will be interesting now is if they put Marcus Vick back there on 3rd down. My gut says no because he can't block, but neither can Bennie Anderson and MM signed him TWICE! -
Wow, is this guy "REALISTIC" or what?

Honestly, and not just because I disagree with alot of it. It really is crap that's cobbled together from articles written 6 months ago. Absolutely no new interpretations or insights based on what's actually ocurring now. -
Will the Bills catch Pats off guard?
Sen. John Blutarsky replied to HudsonValleyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Speaking of MM, has anyone watched their pre-season? 3rd and 3, Culpepper in shotgun, Ronnie Brown on the pine, Sammy Morris in the backfield. Sound familiar to anyone? Apparently it wasn't Willis, it was just what MM wanted to do. Dumbass..... It isn't as though Shaud Williams and Sammy Morris are frikkin Dave Meggett or even Ronnie Harmon - there was a definite REASON to put them in on 3rd down, Williams and Morris are just the back ups. -

If we run as well as last year, have HALF of a QB and 3/4 of a defense we'll win. We should have beaten them last year but that was one of the MM specials where he refused to run the ball with a lead. See also Kevin Killdrive. -

Maybe they've reversed their fortunes finally....they'll blow in in September and October and be a juggernaut after it's too late as opposed to the old Fish who would crush early and then fall apart after the kids went trick or treating. -
One thing I can say for Jauron...

I never understood why coaches are like that. As though someone is watching Channel 13 in Rachacha and will call the opposing coach to adjust their strategy based on a sideline interview. When people like MM say things like "i have to see the tape" that just removes the player's accountability. They can screw up and know the coach won't say jack about it. Parcells does it too, but not as well, you can tell when he's pissed off because of his expression and tone of voice. MM would go all robot. Example, last night after Vanderchoke missed TWO 33 yard field goals in OT, both wide right. he didn't ream him in the presser, but you could tell he was pissed and you KNEw that Mikey was gonna hear about it. With MM you were never sure. -

That story reads as though it were written in March. Anyone who has watched these games and practices even remotely saw that Losman won the job, it wasn't handed to him. Not to mention that he LOOKS different on the field than he did last year. I don't have that "Oh crap" feeling nearly as often. It's funny to me how the journalists hedge their bets. The Bills projected win total has been creeping up the past 2 weeks or so around the football universe based on what people have seen thus far. This guy wanted to be first in line to say he predicted JP shouldn't be the QB, that we need Quinn and he said it in August. Of course if he turns out to be decent he'll flip flop. This has ceased to be journalism. It's ESPN in print. -

Who is your favorite Non-Bill in the NFL?
Sen. John Blutarsky replied to Stl Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Current: Joey Porter All-Time: Chris Spielman...then he became my all-time favorite Bill which ruled... -
From the little I've seen, he's shown the ability to bounce ack from a mistake which is encouraging because he IS going to make them. As long as he comes out firing and makes some plays and doesn't hang his head and go all turtle mode I'm ok with some picks here and there. Marino threw 20+ picks four different times in his career but they were during seasons that he threw 30, 44, 28 and 24 TDs respectively. Favre has done it five times and he's thrown more INTs than TDs during 3 of those seasons. He's averaged 1.76 TD throws per game and 1.13 interceptions. Throwing out his 2 games in ATL he's averaged over 28 TDs per season and a shade under 16 picks per season. I'll take the picks, as long as the TDs come too.

QB's likely to be cut or PS'ed by Game 1:
Sen. John Blutarsky replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Randall, or Shockley. Shockley'd be a great guy to have as a 3rd Qb for a while, he wouldn't dress but you could figure out whether or not he's a QB or a WR and you'd have a year with him to decide. If the Falcons keep him they axe Randall who is decent as well. JT O'Sullivan or Fitzpatrick would be a good #3 as well, especially if you want a guy who can help break down film...but AVP is on the staff to do that so I dunno if that's necessary. -
