That's a scheme that a lot of civil employees use. retirement pay is based on the last couple years of employment so they look for any opportunity to boost pay. Hence they bilk the system for the rest of their and their spouses life. I am sure this will be overlooked by pBrain as one of the wonderful things the union does and was negotiated in the best interest of the employees. Tax payers be damned. Sad thing is most will move to Florida, getting retirement money tax free and not even helping the WNY economy longterm.

We are deeper at guard and therefore can be more selective. We drafted 2 guys with high picks to start long term. Incognito would have been a backup and therefore needed to not get us in trouble when he was actually playing.

The knock on Dockery wasn't that he sucked when he was here. He was average. The problem was he was the highest paid guard in the NFL and way under performed for the money.

It is nice to have both, but you can win with poor Qb play by limiting his involvement (see the Jets) by having a superior line. But a good QB cannot overcome bad line play. Do not think teams like Indy, Arizona, etc.. have bad line, they just don't have dominating lines. But they are still above average. The Bills had a really horrible line, just like the Redskins. Neither came close to sniffing the playoffs.

You don't live locally do you? Shanahan has pretty much said that Campbell will only be a 1-2 year stop gap, and he wants to draft and groom a future star QB. Just because they keep Campbell doesn't mean they aren't drafting QB. In fact the skins have plenty of needs. They are in no particular order LT, G, Qb, FS and those are only the most pressing needs.

As Max said, Levi Jones was their LT for a large portion of last season. Samuels had pretty much retired last season when he was injured and it's just now official.
