  1. I'll have to ask Jimmy Stewart. I believe he had a friend that was a rabbit. Although I never saw the two of them together.
  2. Is this the pilot that ESPN talked to that said Mularkey wasn't leaving?
  3. Is this anything like a pocket sprocket? Which I belive are made by Spacelys Sprockets? I'll have to check with my friend George or his son Elroy to see.
  4. Yup. Why not you want to give up on a safety with 10 starts, a WR with 4 career starts. At least Bannon and others showed something on the field and weren't lockerroom cancers during their time.
  5. That's it, thanks. And no they weren't good for us, we gave up too early, especially Fisher.
  6. Not to doubt you big guy but numbers are very similar: http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/302217 http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/302219 Reed 143 catches - 85 first downs - 6 TD's ARE 162 ctaches - 95 first downs - 7 TD's And that is with Reed missing most of his junior season. I agree ARE does more in the special teams returns, but Reed plays coverage team, and has filled in as a return guy a few times.
  7. Yeah but running backs like to take boats to China learning herbology.
  8. I'm not. I don't watch the NBA so I don't get the Boston reference. But Reed is just as good as ARE, and can be kept for 1/5th the cost.
  9. Huh? Not sure what you're trying to say, but the fact that people wanted Antwan randel-El who is a similar type WR, and are in awe of the Skins silidifying their WR corps with him as their #3 confused me, since well Josh Reed has down as much or more and would probably be a lot cheaper.
  10. with the best team out there: http://www.cnn.com/video/partners/clickabi...nfl.marines.cnn
  11. Yeah good thing we are giving up on a guy who gets a 1st down on 2/3rd of his catches. The same guy who had as many catches as that great signing by Washington as their 3rd down back.
  12. Might be more expediate to drop him off in downtown NYC or the Pentagon Parking lot. Just let people know the time and place.
  13. So this is addressing the WR position. As the number 3 receiver they pick up a guy who had 3 more catches then our #3 (Josh Reed) who everyone around here proclaims sucks big mockey doo doo. I don't understand. How is it that a 35 catch receiver is a great signing but retaining our 35 catch #3 recever would blow because well he sucks.
  14. I don't like Bannan, but feel he is an okay #4 guy.
  15. Williams last year Ted Washington Also some guys I can't remember names on but the Air Force guy who did okay after he left, San Diego picked up one of our guys in the 90's after our SB runs, who helped them a lot. There has been several that we gave up on.
  16. There are you happy? Marv read your message and resigned jerman
  17. Don't laugh guys, how many times have we had other players go elsewhere and do well? Bannon with some good coaching should be okay. I believe Baltimore defensive coaching may do wonders for him.
  18. !@#$. He sucks. He looked like a friggen paperdoll when he played.
  19. I think the Bills have helpd themselves a lot in the trenches. Royal is one of the better blocking TE's out there and Triplett is a solid DT. Davis has me wondering, but he probably replaces Aiken as our #4/5 receiver. Davis is also a KR returner type, someone with a threat to help Mcgee out.
  20. Runyun's a RT. I don't like the idea of Peters or Gandy on the left side. Shelton is a LT who's two weeknesses are, picking up the really fast speed rushers, and motivation. He knows blocking and has no problems with stunts or blitz recognition. Gandy and Peters, have shown no ability to do either. Although Peters has the quickness against speed guys.
  21. I am not advocating Shaffer money, although he is a better tackle. I agree Shelton needs incentives or he gets lazy. But he has at time a you say "showcases" himself and looks real good. Last year for example. Also, while he at time struggled in Arizona, Davis who was drafted to tack LT, never was able to unseat Shelton until Green got there and basically threw out most of the offensive line.
  22. Well since Cleveland signed Shaffer, because they could not agree to a deal with Shelton, is it time to finally bring him here. Not sure how much he was asking especially since Cleveland even said they settled for Shaffer after Shelton was asking too much. Shaffer got 6 years 36 million. I find it hard to believe even though Shelton played great last year that he could demand that type of salary.
  23. Royales is a good signing. We haven't had a good blocking TE or FB in years. This shows the committment to the running game. Royales has at least semi-decent catching skills but great blocking skills. Perfeect player for redzone offense, and on 1st and 2nd as the starter.
  24. Exactly on Archuletta. Big guy, fairly fast, minimal cover skills. Why overpay for him when we have a much cheaper and more trainable Wire.
  25. Okay Mickey, little more info about the FISA court and wiretapping warrants. Guess what? They will not give the administration a warrent unless they can confirm the details of the "overheard" conversation. Otherwise the court will make them stop monitoring the intrested party within your wonderful 72 hours. Isn't that neat? So you can get a warrent anytime you want and yeah you can listen for 72 hours, but FISA says they will not permit any of the evidence from the actual prewarrent conversations to be used as a basis for the warrent. Had a good buddy of mine explain that, who like you happens to be a lawyer. That turned the little light bulb on in my head not too long ago and now I see why the administration used other rules in which to continue wiretapping. Do you understand that? Agree or not, the only ones that will be monitored are those that are in contact with "known" bad guys already from overseas. So it begs to question why these folks are calling up bad guys in the middle of the night and striking up phone conversations.
