  1. Ummm.... no.
  2. Injury could be an issue as well. Campbell has not played in all 16 games in his three years here, and has been out quite a bit the last 2. Plus he was pretty much non-existant in the offense last year. Finally Schoebal should come pretty cheap as he has never been the starter in Cincy. Kelly is the starter so with Everett back and likely starter, we needed a backup. Also, Schoebal while a good receiver is a terrible blocker. Again probably not someone we want starting, but more of a redzone threat.
  3. I heard Dan Rather will be doing a special on 60 minutes to discount everything in this article. He just needs to finish typing up documents from 2002 showing why the war was illegal.
  4. Big Mike will be good for a run dedicated team, that will stick with and commit to running more then 50% of the time. He is good at getting a push off the line. That team has to commit to supporting him with a TE or FB to chip the speed rushers. Anyone notice that the greatest back in football looked real average after Big Mike went out and Peters came in. The only game Mcgahee got more then 100 yards after Williams was benched was in the Jets game.

  6. I always thought your cat was Barry Melrose.
  7. Did you read reply 14 in this thread? http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=617756
  8. I didn't think she was that old. Chester.
  9. Not ripping, but all I was getting was opinions with no facts. I also showed the CBA and saw nothing to prevent it, hence I was wondering why teams don't do it more often. As I showed with Bledsoe it does in fact happen, as there is no rules to prevent signing someone who was cut.
  10. Actually my smart friends came through without realizing it. They gave a reference on Bledsoe, but thought he signed after FA period started. He was officially released Feb 22rd, and signed the next day with Dallas. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1997976 http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=3105 Free agency last year started March 2nd. So it was before the official start. http://www.nfl.com/freeagency/qa And I was right.
  11. I did, and I was the one who posted the CBA, if you'll follow the thread. But the wording and the official line do not match. Hence read Lori's intelligent response.
  12. I believe you're in trouble with 6 there Brokeback Geico
  13. And to me Three Kings blew chunks, and I guess you don't understand the whole hurry up and wait mentaility.
  14. That's it: I think these guys are free and clear now.
  15. Thanks Lori, I see this as well: http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=70&p=2&c=504574 But again, I don't see anything in the CBA that covers any of this. My point on this was what happens if NE wanted to sign Milloy back, would they have to wait until monday, since contractually he is free now.
  16. Me either. That's why I ask. And yes I did. Better be careful, I believe I have a shovel around here.
  17. I have it online, but I see no language of such. It just says if a vet is cut he is free to sign with any team. I see no date restrictions. http://www.nflpa.org/Media/main.asp?subPage=CBA+Complete
  18. I've looked. I cannot see anything.
  19. Why? I want to see the rule. I believe I have heard of teams actually signing players early. In addition how was Detroit allowed to sign King then yesterday.
  20. Well either you are not understanding or I am not explaining it correctly. But a Free agent is only free when his contract ends. Monday makes the period at which players who were signed through 2005 have their contracts end. However, certain players like Adams, Milloy, etc... have already had their contracts terminated when they were cut, and therefore are FREE now.
  21. No the players who have been cut are Free Agents now.
  22. But they free agents now, not monday. Monday is when contracts end so those guys at end of contract have to wait until monday. But if they have been cut, what prevents a teams from negociating and signing now.
  23. It doesn't fall apart. You had to be a Marine to understand.
  24. Who asked you? This from a Team Swapping (w)hore.
  25. Just sign with another team now? I asked my smart friends, but they didnt seem to know so now I am hoping the smart folks here know. I understand that "contracts" don't run out until Monday, but a player who was cut this week is not under contract and should be available to sign now.
