  1. Why did they need to be released if they were not being held. Just because you don't go into a cell doesn't mean your not "arrested".
  2. Mason is Baltimores by far. heap is a nice #2, but he is was not nearly as effective until Mason showed up. Go look at the stats. Arizona has two #1 receivers that's why they are real dangerous. If they ever get a QB, and a line they would be pretty damn good. Again, SD is in the KC mode of having a TE be the #1 with Gates. I said there were a few exceptions. But 90% of teams have a #1 or a 1 and 1a. We have a #1 in Moulds and a true #2 in Evans. Evans just isn't a good enough redzone player to ever be a true #1.
  3. This post was not about gun ownership, but rrather that these two protesters were arrested for protesting Clinton. My point, which you guys all missed, is if it was Bush it would have been front page news that their right to freedom of speech was taken away. but since it was Clinton it's okay.
  4. And I disagree. Almost every team has a WR who gets 70 or more receptions. And probably 90% of those are WR's. Yeah you have the Lamont Jordon and Gonzolez's, but to assume a rookie can do that is absurd. 1 Larry Fitzgerald ARI 103 1409 13.7 10 47 2 Steve Smith CAR 103 1563 15.2 12 80 3 Anquan Boldin ARI 102 1402 13.7 7 54 4 Torry Holt STL 102 1331 13.0 9 44 5 Chad Johnson CIN 97 1432 14.8 9 70 6 Antonio Gates SD 89 1101 12.4 10 38 7 Derrick Mason BAL 86 1073 12.5 3 39 8 Donald Driver GB 86 1221 14.2 5 59 9 Rod Smith DEN 85 1105 13.0 6 72 10 Santana Moss WAS 84 1483 17.7 9 78 11 Reggie Wayne IND 83 1055 12.7 5 66 12 Joey Galloway TB 83 1287 15.5 10 80 13 Marvin Harrison IND 82 1146 14.0 12 80 14 Chris Chambers MIA 82 1118 13.6 11 77 15 Eric Moulds BUF 81 816 10.1 4 55 16 Deion Branch NE 78 998 12.8 5 51 17 T.J. 5. No the point is why should anyone other then the representatives from the affected states even show up down there. Not a dem/rep thing, it's a tax thing.
  6. With no blocking skills, he is better listed with the WR's or even RB's (under HBack). His 4.39 is fast but again that is on a fast indy turf, and only puts him in the top with several folks faster then him.
  7. No Mike Buchanan is now on about 5:50 am blasting Bush with 10 minutes of Bush sucks, it's all his fault, and his grandmother could do a better job. Now not discounting his Grandmother, and maybe should could, but the same basic bull sh-- every day is almost commical. Of course he got canned from channel 9 for the same basic crap.
  8. No but thinking along the same lines. Although I do like Bruce and feel he would be a better #1 then Evans. But I am of the better opinion that Moulds is our best option.
  9. No they are blaming republican senators for not caring enough and visiting. Since the likes of Clinton, etc.. did. WTF does Hillary have any business going to NO on my tax dollars?
  10. FYI: Strengths: A dynamic athlete. Has rare speed and athletic ability for his size. Shows explosive initial burst to get off the LOS and the top-end speed to stretch the field vertically. He will be a matchup weapon as a pass-catcher in the NFL. Shows a good feel for reading coverages. Is remarkably savvy in terms of setting up defenders in man-coverage and finding soft spots in zone. He shows burst out of his cuts and will consistently separate in one-on-one situations. He has terrific leaping ability and will make the acrobatic catch. He has soft and reliable hands. Shows upper body strength and power at the POA as a blocker. He continues to improve his technique and angles as a space blocker. He also is a workout warrior who set school strength records (in spring of 2005) for a TE in the bench press (460 pounds), power-clean (335 pounds), vertical jump (40 inches), squat (685 pounds) and 40-yard dash (4.41) Weaknesses: Possesses below average height and speed. Is powerful but lacks a wide base to anchor as a blocker. Needs to improve his hand-usage, angles and overall technique as a blocker. May never develop into anything more than an H-back that needs to be protected as a blocker in space in the NFL. Overall: Davis played in all 13 games as a reserve during his true freshman season in 2003, and finished with five catches for 59 yards. He started six of the 11 games he played as a sophomore in 2004, finishing with 27 receptions for 441 yards and three touchdowns. Through eight games as a junior in 2005, Davis led the Terps with 32 catches for 592 yards with three touchdowns. Davis is one of the best pure athletes at the tight end position in college football right now. He lacks ideal size and has much room to improve as a blocker, but his overall combination of physical tools and playmaking savvy are hard to ignore. He has not made a decision regarding his future, but we are hearing that Davis is leaning heavily towards leaving school early in order to make himself available for the 2006 NFL draft. If that is the case, and if he verifies his exceptional natural tools in post-season workouts, Davis could emerge as a mid-first round draft pick.
  11. I agree with your concept, but your first statement is wrong. I work with a lot of Maryland fans and Alum, and even they say he won't/can't block.
  12. Take it a step further since we don't know who we get in the 3rd this year with the pick. All in all, Clements alone is a better pick then Hutch, so the answer is Nate and pet rock was the right choice.
  13. We do not need a pass catching , non-blocking TE. We already have Euhus and Everett that fill this roll. We just got rid of Campbell, who also fit the bill. Campbell was let go because Everett is ready to play. Guys our line sucks over all. We need bodies up front and if we get another TE it will be someone who can help the tackles block on the edge, and help with blitz and stunt support.
  14. Agree with your first and 3rd sentence. I just think he is the solid #2 and will always be nothing more then that.
  15. I'd gladly eat those words. However, if he does it it will not be with Losman.
  16. I like Evans also, but he isn't even as good as Peerless was. I dont'feel he'll ever be a #1 WR in the league, but is more of a Peerless type receiver. That isn't bad, and I don't think for a moment the pick was wasted, but Lee, is not and should not ever be confused with being the ultimate go to guy.
  17. Lee Evans is not even as good as Peerless Price. Please people, by what stretch of anyones imagination do you think this guy can beat the #1 corner on other teams. This guy disappeared against the Pats when Moulds was suspended. He disappeared after the 1st quarter in the Miami game. Evans has caught exactly 48 catches each year. Hell even diuscounting Peerless 90+ catch season, he had 55 and 52 the previous years. Not a lot more, but those were in years when we had Remeirsma, Centers and even a young Josh Reed, with lots of catches going elsewhere. The current system has Moulds, Evans and Reed. Reed can't even get to Peerless pre-breakout year, seeing that many more balls. Also with his size and the types of routes he runs, he is non-existant in the redzone. Again, your #1 has got to be big/good enough to get you TD's down there. Evans ain't it. In fact in the redzone, I'd take Reed.
  18. I think of myself as religious, but do not consider myself a nutball. Me thinks you feel guilty about something and feel the need to lash out at things you don't understand.
  19. I was just listening to our local "all news, as long as it's liberal" news station. They were now ranting about how many senators and congressmen have not been down to see the devestation in New Orleans. I am sorry but why should my tax dollars go to let these guys have a tour of the area? If they are not representing LA, MS, Fla, etc... they have no business seeing it first hand, and should read the !@#$ing reports handed to them. Used to be in this country congress only met for a short time each year. Now these guys spend too much time here "yeah right" and they no longer represent their home districts. VA used to be a short time frame as well but now these guys sit in session for 2.5 months. I believe not even 10 years ago it was 30 days. Too much legislation, for everything, not enough common sense in this country by the people anymore.
  20. And that video shows why Earl Campbell is truely one of my all time favorite players.
  21. As a right guard Anderson, of the three mentioned. However, probably Snee if a LG. But Snee is the RG for NYG isn't he? But he is lighter and can probably go in motion better. Bennie while he had good games pulling, he at times completely sucked trying to pull. Tell you what though, whoever the Giants Oline coach is I want, because he has taken basically the same group that Mcnally screwed up and and have turned them around. Mcnally on the other hand has taken some talented guys and made them look like crap.
  22. Jason Peters 2005 Scouting Report - Scouts Inc. Grade: 58 | Key Alert: Y Comment: Peters has very good size. He has adequate-to-good height at the OT position and great bulk. He has outstanding feet and mobility for his size. Typically gets in good position as a blocker. Has the size to engulf smaller defenders at the POA. Has long arms and a strong upper body. Will drive his legs to finish the block. Does a very good job of reaching the second-level as a run blocker. Has very good athletic ability for his size and can hit the moving target. His angles are inconsistent and he has a lot of work to do in terms of picking up blitzes and stunts. He also needs to improve his lower body strength and base. He had great strength at the TE position but now he must get stronger in his legs and hips in order to improve his ability to anchor vs. the bull rush. Again, I'll trust my eyes and scouts. This is what I mean, you guys blast the average starters and quality guys like Anderson, Clements, Reed, Moulds, and then think guys like Evans, Peters, and Crowell are all world. Sorry buy when they make it to average I'll have no problem with them in there but right now Evans isn't even as good as Peerless was, and Peerless didn't cut it as a #1. Peters is below average and has issues, same with Crowell. None of these guys should be starters, except Evans, but then only a #1, and it show what dire straits we as a team really are in, if fans think their play was even adequate.
  23. Not trying to be snide here, but since you seem to know so much, who on the list is so much better?
