  1. That performance was a huge positive for the team. First, Josh will learn from trying to fit throws into tight windows, jeopardizing points in scoring territory. Secondly,it got Dabol to lean on a running game that now will make teams defend and in turn open things up for downfield opportunities as we head into the playoffs. Finally, the defense rose up after the turnovers, and shut down the Falcons without letting them score. Great confidence builder.

  2. The Browns have to move on from Baker, sooner than later. The fan base has turned on him and he has started to feel like a victim. His arm strength and accuracy has come into question. Lamar, should come back next year on the 5th year option and play like he did before he stumbled this season, and get paid. He's their best option going forward.

  3. Raiders, won't beat LA so their probably not coming. The Patriots are dangerous even though we beat them in Foxboro. They will be better with Stephenson and depending on the conditions,  we will hopefully be able to lean on a passing attack advantage. Bellicek scares me when he has 2 meetings to look at in preparation. Our best bet, is probably Indy. They won't be able to dominate us on the  ground again

    We will be better offensively.

  4. This tiny returner will be a problem for us, especially in frigid, wet conditions. His aggressive nature, running everything back is a turnover waiting to happen in plus territory for coverage units. Please opt in favor of McKenzie or Hyde for safety.

  5. Josh's first instinct is to throw into tight windows with his incredible arm talent. Tips and deflections cause the high rate of turnovers in these bad weather games, but the good news is that Motor and Moss are running hard and holes are being opened. Now Dabol will scale back on empty set passing dominating the attack. With teams having to play the run, Josh will have more open throws. If we can win the turnover battle, I like our chances especially in decent weather venues.

Even if you had any clue what you were talking about regarding Star's life scenario, nobody on the Bills owes anything to you.

Thanks for the organizational response.  No reason for nastiness young fella. If you sanction the low effort for your team, that's the foundation of mediocrity.

Wow, what exactly does he owe you?

Not much, but that doesn't mean he dresses and sleepwalks through a game where we can clinch a playoff spot. Remember,we fans pay his exorbitant salary. Money that's generational.

  8. Much sympathy for Star and his family. He should not dress if he can't buy in to play winning, fired up football. He has been selfish, unavailable and ineffective leading up to his personal problems. His priorities have not been team and we keep expecting him to snap out of it. Star owes this team and the fans more. We live and die with these  well paid athletes. All we ask is to put forth maximum effort. Don't go through the motions Star.

Edmunds is a solid player. You don’t trade up into the first for a solid LB.

Anyone who thinks that Edmunds is an elite LB in the NFL should point me to what is elite about his game? What is he elite at doing? Not blitzing. Not blowing up the run. Not covering (he really isn’t great compared to some of the freaks out there).

The only thing elite about Edmunds is his physical talents. He’s huge and fast. Otherwise he ranges from solid to pretty good at every facet of LB play at this level. Jack of all trades master of none is not an elite player.

You make some solid points. The reason I like him is because he has to compensate for shortcomings of our D-line in the run game and he has major responsibilities for screens and underneath passes, which demands speed, length and being a thumper. All of which he features. He is not a finished product by any means, but he complements Milano and the last 2 seasons has been a leading tackler on a top 5 defense. Warner, Wagner, White are better but much older.

Your condescending nature is cute young fella, but the mega'hate for Edmunds is silly. Try and grasp the concept of our MLB being the best LB on the field in our biggest game of the year is something to be applauded. 12tackles,6 of them solo and a team leading 5 QB pressures helped us win the game. Is it Edmunds hair that bothers you?

The post that you referenced about him not be instinctual, just points up his incredible ceiling with his freakish speed, length  and physicality. If we let him leave, he will be All-Pro for another team guaranteed.

Omg....I feel faint, Hampton may have just admitted Tremaine has "instinctual issues". Someone get the paddles....now we need to work on Freddie.....and for what its worth he would be a disaster as a DE and McD is too stubborn to put him as an OLB.  So enjoy him playing his 5th and maybe last year as a glorified CB.

People were on Harrison Phillips’ case and he seems to have turned it around so you never know what’ll happen…he’s got some time to prove himself still

I agree with the idea of not calling him a bust yet, but he needs to contribute down the stretch and in the playoffs because this team  with disproportionate investment on the D-line at the expense of fortifying our O-line and RB depth, must get more production out of AJ, Rousseau and Boogie.

The only 2 losses we didn't have a late shot at were Pittsburgh and Indy.  Against Jacksonville, Tennessee, New England, and Tampa Bay we had the ball late with a shot at taking a lead if not a walk-off win.

Don't mention Jax, we underperformed and deserved the L. Tenn, and Tampa were killers because Josh slipped at 1 yard line in Tenn, and the officiating was disgraceful according to objective reporting in Tampa. Not calling the PI on Diggs in regulation was unprofessional. NE in the weather game ran the ball effectively and stopped 2 long drives in the 4th qtr, earning the W. All things considered, 11 and 4 could have been our record because we outplayed Tenn and Tampa.

He has the same frame as TJ Watt. Both guys are 6’5 250ish. Also Edmunds is much more athletic than Watt. Edmunds forty time is 4.54 compared to Watts 4.69. Long arms with great get up of the edge. Played the position in high school along with TE. He only seems to get up with blockers when is 5 yards off the line of scrimmage. When he’s right on the line of scrimmage he generally handles blockers well. I believe that is his true NFL position.

Edmund's strength is movement and length. He could be elite if he instinctively sniffed out running lanes and inside receiver throws. Right now, he excels with QBs that zero in on receivers without deception, and running plays that aren't cutback blocking schemes. If a LB coach or just plain experience can get him more instinctual, look out.

  15. This guy has been an abject failure. He has 2 games to show Beane's proper use of high draft choice. He's got speed but he lacks the physicality to get pressures or be a force in the run or screen game. Maybe He's struggling with an injury. Hopefully he plays with aggression and a sense of urgency. If we want to advance past the 1st rd, this defense has to make a statement these last 2 games.

  16. The silver lining in the players activated after missing one or two games is that they will be fresh and ready to play getting treatment throughout their absence. Feliciano should provide better performance as depth if Bates gets starts. We look to be getting healthy on offense going into prime time.
