Objectively wrong. Kupp has outproduced beasleys entire 10 year career in 5 years

Not counting this season since Kupp came into the league in 2017 which includes Beasley's best year and omits kupp's

Forgetting the Kupp comparison, does it make you feel better denigrating a 10 year vet, who has produced and played hurt for our team and has helped make us one of the best teams in football. I guess your job as a personnel expert is to make personnel decisions. Perhaps you think Beane should have cut him after most of the contract had been paid.

Because that's exactly what Beasley is - he's just a guy and always has been. On top of that he's extremely expensive on a cash strapped team (we save over $7M by cutting him), and he's old.

    He's the definition of a cap-casualty

Also, Kupp in his worst season was better than Beasley's best.

He's just a guy. He had just under 1000 yds last year for a Division winner who went to the AFC championship. His career #s are similar to Kupps prior to this year. Kupp had a good year when they went to the SB, but otherwise similar.

Kupp had more than 140 catches for  1950 yds and 16 TDs this year alone!

Beasley took 5 years to score 16 tds and Has never had over 1000 yards in a season.  He had 1 TD this year.  He is Going to be 33 next year and not worth

I used Kupp as an example because he's a great inside receiver. He had a career, MVP type season and he is 4 years younger than Cole. His #s  before this year were similar to Cole's. Remember, Woods went down and Beckam came in later and Kupp was targeted 15 times a game.

Cooper Kupp is an MVP candidate and is having one of the best WR seasons in NFL history. Beasley is the trailer park version of: "We have Cooper Kupp at home".

The only thing they share in common is that they're white blond dudes.

They'll draft someone to compete with Hodgins. Maybe a cheap FA like Crowder.

Why do Beasley haters think they can replace good players, who work well with Josh, with any cheap FA or 3rd day draft choices. Kupp had a career year, especially after Woods went down and before Beckham came in. He's 5 years younger than Cole, but before this year they were similar. Without McKenzie, Beasley is the best option.

I love Beasley for his vax stance, so this definitely isn’t me harboring some off-field hate for him…. He’s not Kupp, and we need more explosiveness around Allen.

WR’s are expensive when you’re paying a QB… They also come very NFL ready now.

Allen has Davis dominating as second year 4th Rounder.   Can we give this dude a premium pick for once?

Absolutely,Sanders is gone and a  FA or draft choice would replace him. Inside, slot receiver who Josh loves and trusts is a different matter. Kupp had a career year with Stafford, but Beasley was the comp before this year. He's not Kupp, but he's solid, plays hurt and produces.

  6. You must be kidding. These QBs are all good and Mahomes is great, but Josh can do things with his arm, his legs and his will, that no QB in the history of the NFL could do. He will win SBs when coaching and personnel decisions by our GM, match his transcendent talents. Hopefully sooner than later.

We sucked for 17 years. By November we were strategizing on draft picks …

we now have gone to the playoffs 4 of 5 years. we have a superstar quarterback, a very solid defense that carried this team most of the year - and anytime we lose TBD spews more hate at our team than the network talking heads. Enjoy what should be a tremendous number of years. It has been a great ride and look forward to where we are headed … GO BILLS.

Wait a minute, don't be thankful for mediocrity. We had a home championship game against a very beatable opponent in our grasp and poor coaching decisions snatched our 1st SB in almost 3 decades. My kids and my grandson are inconsolable. I put them into this meat grinder. Don't ask passionate fans who live and die with this team to be thankful for losing.

I agree with most of that except you’ve gotta be careful with intentional holds late in games now.:.they changed those rules after some harbaugh antics a few years ago lol 15 yard penalties for holds to manipulate clock these days.  Should’ve rushed 2 and had more dbs on the field at the very least

Had to be better than what we did. We gave Kelce a 30 yd reception with 10 seconds left. Horrific.

Right I wouldn’t argue that specific situation was badly managed …but the general statement ‘the bend but don’t break school of losing football’ I didn’t agree with for multiple reasons.  First being…I think you only rush 4 if you think you can get the sack to end the game.  That was honestly an overly aggressive defense for the situation in my mind.  A ‘true’ prevent defense probably wins that game.

A true prevent would have been not allowing Kelce or Hill from getting off the line of scrimmage even if it meant tackling them. Also extra dbs could helped coverage schemes instead of rushing 4.Those plays take 5 seconds each and then its a Hail Mary. McD whiffed on the last 13 seconds and should own the loss. He's a defensive coach and had no answers for Mahomes the whole 4th qtr and OT.

  10. He's not going anywhere but he should take this crushing loss as something he could have avoided. His decisions were that of a coach who kept making the same mistakes, thinking the results would change. Kicking the ball into the end zone with 13 seconds, rushing 4, letting the KC's playmakers get free releases without bumping or holding them with 10 seconds left. Sean was clueless and can own this devastating loss after Josh saved us time after time. Shame on Sean. Bills fans will suffer for his egregious mistakes.

It also has to be a scheme fit. Love Jimmy but I’m not sure he can teach the McDefense. A promote from within might make the most sense.

Something to consider with Frazier, things weren’t peaches and cream until last night. Sean has had to pull DC play calling and power from Frazier several times over the years to get things back on track. The defense underperformed significantly last year and looked average vs experienced QBs this year.

Good take, who could come from within? Is there a position coach you like?

Idk why we single out our coaches for this pretty much everyone plays the chiefs that way.  And us also.

Let me simplify this for you, the game was determined on decisions made after we lead with 13 seconds left and managed to lose. Situational football strategy called for a kick in the field of play to kill 3 to 5 seconds. Then, why rush 4 when you got no pressure the whole game. Then letting Kelce and Hill have free releaes without holding or tackling them is mind blowing with 10 seconds left. Coaching cost us the game. As a fan please don't dismiss this fact. Aren't you sick of this crap.

  13. Why, because Sean and Frazier are from the bend don't break school of losing football. He could have won this game and he will never regain the respect from knowledgeable fans until he wins. Josh left his guts on that field and handed these timid coaches this win and their mind-numbing decisions prevented a home championship game and a SB appearance.

I'm talking about tonights game.  Epenesa made at least a couple of plays.  Addison did nothing.  Addison made a few plays over the course of the season you're right but he hardly played up to his contract and I'm not sure one of the rookies couldn't have totaled 6 sacks if they had played as many snaps as Addison.

Why are you wasting your time defending any of these players. They were terrible when it counted. Epenesa didn’t have any contributions as an edge rusher as  well as the rest of the D-line. We lost the game because the Chiefs scored at will. Don't talk about living up to contracts. He's gone next year. This team does not scare any good offenses with the defense we showed in the biggest game of the season.

Epenesa made a couple good stops in the run and did more than Addison (not hard to do).   Our Interior line wasn't bad at all.  Hughes and Addison are useless.

Addison played hurt and produced during the season. I think he even had some sacks. Epenesa stunk and gets zero pressure, along with Rousseau.

  16. I respect Sean and the team plays hard but he is bad at situational football. He is a so called defensive coach and his defense was almost passive after getting leads at the end of regulation. The Chiefs playmakers were almost left uncovered with 13 seconds left. I feel sick for our great fans who live and die with our team. Frazier should go and explore other opportunities. He's a good man but his defense when they had victory handed to them by a historic performance, failed. This can't happen anymore.

Epanesa is wasted space. The others are developing and have potential. Look at Oliver now. He is playing much better and it took him a couple of years to develop.

I love Oliver and Harry and Addison plays hard, but Hughes

Epenesa and the corners are bad.

Is it too much to ask for a DL to get a sack when it matters?

    Pass rush is non existent

Our defense is good against pedestrian offenses. We are not good enough on the edges or in the secondary to dominate KC, Tampa, GB, both LA teams, or Cinn with our defense. Josh may win games against these with his brilliance but we are far from one of the top defenses.

  19. Our defensive coaches(Sean and Frazier) betrayed our great QB. He played his heart out for Bills fans and these bend don't break mentality losers, did everything to undo the victory Josh deserved. It's criminal. Find a way to stop a team with 13 seconds left or get out of coaching, because these losses crush people's souls.
