If Groot and AJE are taking over next year when Hughes and Addison are gone, we're in deep trouble. I know we need to draft multiple OL this April but we may have to take a runner on a late round pass rusher.

Dude watch Harris's 31 yard gallop and tell me where 49 was on that play. It's pretty sad.

He got blocked by an O-lineman and at 3 other guys overran the play including Johnson. Big deal, how about the 12 tackles,6 solo and the QB pressures. No comment huh.

    Still no pass rush

Still no big plays from Edmunds

    Still over-persue

Yet somehow were still top 3 in many defensive categories.....

    Bend don't break.

Kill Edmunds every game is your mantra. 12 tackles, 6 unassisted and plenty of stunt pressures, making Jones uncomfortable. What are you watching? The guy runs down backs and you say he didn't make any plays. Hopefully the next guy they bring in will make some big plays. Edmunds plays every down and is always available.

  3. The defense is still a bit spotty. Overrunning the blocking schemes hurts us with long runs every game. The good news is that we play hard and on NE 2nd long drive we made them take 8+ minutes off the clock. We were also opportunistic with the Hyde interception and ensuing 2 drives. I thought Edmunds was really good. He was very physical and flying around running down balk carriers like few inside LBS could. Overall, if we play that type of defense, we'll win most games because our offense will put up 30.

As poised as he has been this year as a rookie, it is just plainly obvious that he is physically limited in certain ways.

A starting QB in the NFL cannot be physically limited.

He's giving BB what I think BB wanted out of Cam Newton last year (steady, reliable play) but ultimately it's all so LIMITED.

His ceiling looks like "serviceable game manager" as you point out.

Glory days with Tommy B dominating Buffalo  are distant memories.

Anyone watching today could see the difference in the game today was at the QB position. No player does more for his team in the AFC than Allen and we saw that today,  league should be embarrassed that Herbert & Jackson made the pro bowl over Allen.  Just glad he is on our team because not many QB'S other than 1-2 make some of plays we saw this afternoon

It doesn't matter, this guy will be best for many years. The league will understand who he is.

Isaiah McKenzie is GOOD, very good.  He's been put in the dog house all year for no noticeable reason. This has been to the detriment to the team both on offense and special teams.  Not only does he belong on the field he belongs in the offense!!

This kid had a noticeable impact on the offense last season and we have been missing his athleticism this year. It took desperation of multiple COVID lists and a hampered Sanders to finally give this MAN a chance.  We aren't talking about a rookie but a guy that's been here for a few years now.

McDermott is a terrible leader (no accountability) and terrible recognition of talent, he clings to Tre White as his only accomplishment and constantly puts faith in undersized abs under skilled guys.

Isaiah McKenzie played a key role in our run game last year withhis explosiveness and that has been missing all year.

It's terrible we need to rely on injuries of our talent to get on the field because the coach won't do it.

I'm so over McDermott, he can't coach a winning, talented football team.

McKenzie needed to have a game like this. He was a gadget guy and return man. Don't blame Sean if he inexplicably fumbled the kickoff against Indy and gave the indication he might be a fumbler. Now he showed resiliency and big time talent as a inside receiver. Let's see how Dabol uses him going forward. It's not as if we have a need at receiver. We have the best receiving corp in the AFC.

DITTO and concur 100% with every word. Succinct as JUST WIN ..boom YEP.....but even  a loss won't lose McDermott his job imo. I just dont believe Pegula would pull the trigger that quickly on his removal. Firing Beane imo would be a hot mess...talk about imploding the franchise.

Their jobs are safe, but it creates doubt where there was high expectations after their breakout season. They were a few good plays away from a better record(Tenn,Tampa and NE),but at some point losing all  the close ones puts a cloud over the team.

It’s Judgment Day in a lot of ways for the 2021 Buffalo Bills on Sunday against the New England Patriots.

Actually, let’s call it Judgment Day, Part 1, since the final judgment on the Bills will be made based on what they do in January.

    • Can Sean McDermott avoid being outcoached by Bill Belichick?

    • Did Brandon Beane build a team geared toward beating the Kansas City Chiefs and fail to keep a keener eye on beating the Patriots?

    • Can Brian Daboll find the right adjustments against the defensive wizardry of his chief pro football mentor?

This is judgement day for the Bills organization. The ability to beat a good divisional opponent with the division on the line will shed light on our coaching staff and Beane's personnel decisions. I want to see physicality, discipline and a sense of urgency from these underachieving Bills. We are better than this team. Make this our line in the sand game.

It’s dumb. I wish they would’ve told the players ahead of time that this was going to happen…

It's like we're going by the seat of our pants and reacting instead of being proactive. Why is it so hard to get tests? We knew this strain was super transmittable

I have no personal problem with him.  I also don't hold him up to be an American hero for spamming twitter with a bunch of misinformation pulled from russian troll farms and the dregs of the internet and calling it research.

Were he vaccinated, he would have an opportunity to play.  He has no chance because of his choices and he's still

What are you an epidemiologist?. You have an opinion, that's all. Plenty of vaccinated players will miss games. Don't conflate people who have different views from your own with a lack of team loyalty. Are you questioning his effort on the field where he takes viscous hits and keeps coming. Russian troll farms? The majority of professional athletes are on Twitter. It's not personal, ok.

The vaccinated players are eligible to return when they're asymptomatic, like Beasley claims to be.

They need negative tests before practicing or playing. Why do you think all these games are rescheduled and the player's still aren't playing. You have a problem with Cole personally, get over it.

Are you serious? 50 players tested positive for Covid Monday, most have been vaccinated. Games are being played with 3rd string QBs and 11 starters unavailable. Did you see the Browns play without their 1st and 2nd string QBs. NE has their top 3 receivers on Covid protocols. This is a problem league wide with protocols that are unworkable and will result in the competitive nature of the season being compromised. You're pointing your finger at 1 guy. More Bills will get Covid and it will be a war of attrition.

You can use social media but he can't? If he's not breaking team rules, he's fine.

He is unavailable for the biggest game of the year.  How are you not hurting the team when you aren't on the field against the New England Patriots and are sitting home once again popping off on twitter and making yourself the center of a sideshow days before the biggest game of the year?

Well 7 catches is because he rarely has been playing offense, which will change Sunday I expect.

All well and good, but the poster indicated he was OK with McKenzie replacing Cole going forward because he wasn't having a good year.

Beasley last year was the guy who reliably and consistently moved the chains.  This year, not so much.  I don't know if he's lost a step or if defenses are playing him better or if the rotten O line is not giving Allen time to go through his progressions and find Beasley.  But Knox (with some painful exceptions) seems to have developed into a good, move the chains, kind of TE.  And we have McKenzie.  So we can get by without Beasley.

Just so you know, Cole has 76 receptions for 640 yds with 33 1st downs. He's played hurt most of the games and is a leader on the team. McKenzie has 7 catches and a devastating unforced fumble against Indy, that turned the game on its head. This guy takes a lot of abuse from fans for his incredible production.
