Interesting Josh Allen Stat

We're not going to go too far if we keep getting down by 10+ points then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
I was actually the reason they lost the game

I didn't play my usual game of Tecmo before the game. This one is on me. Also I quit drinking and last year I was drunk all the time and we were awesome...sorry everyone. -
But, it was one game. Only 2 teams have ever won every game in the regular season. It was one game. If yesterday's performance repeats for the next several games then it might be time to worry. But, similarly, if we beat the stuffing out of the Steelers yesterday it wouldn't mean we were going to the Super Bowl. Its just one game in a long (and now even longer) season.

My Opinion why we lost vs pittsburgh
Johnnycage46 replied to steven50's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There was NO preseason last year and that produced the best QB year we've ever seen here. -
This kind of reminds me of the 49ers game when even the announcers were saying things like "we haven't seen Josh Allen run yet". I guess even announcers don't always do their homework. Josh is clearly a throw first QB (stats don't lie), and while he will definitely take off if he needs to, he clearly has progressed in the "trust your receivers" department enough that he still defaults to getting those guys the ball before bailing.

Should make for some hilarious question and answer with BB. Two of the most monotone people I've ever heard. -
Refresh me on that...that had come up last year, correct? Opposing Defenses had said something about that right?

9/11 - where were you on the day that changed history?
Johnnycage46 replied to RobbRiddick's topic in Off the Wall
I was in the Coast Guard in a training and we all got dismissed without knowing what was going on but I remember the officers split FAST and I remembee thinking it seemed odd but all made sense soon enough unfortunately. Sad day in world history. I still think about all those poor souls on that day. Awful. -
True for sure. But the reaction to his release has been a little surprising.

He's the new Duke Williams/Christian Wade.

The Difference Between Being Waived and Being Released

Love your avatar pic. That's one of my favorite Maiden albums. -
I trust this front office. They have had many more hits than misses. They must have their reasons and who knows, Hollister could be back. I don't work in an NFL front office (for a reason). I trust these guys know what they are doing.

Shades of Marshawn in his college days lol -
The weird thing about these lists is the seeming lack of weighted value of the player. For instance, Allen at 10 and TJ Watt at 9. There is no universe where Watt would affect the outcome of as many games as Allen does. I would still take the elite QB over the elite LB/DE any day.

Call your shot … who will get the #1 seed in the AFC?
Johnnycage46 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Being objective, I went with KC. They've been the 1 seed, what 3 years in a row? I don't see them slowing down too much barring injuries. But who knows... -
Sports Illustrated Predicts Every Game
Johnnycage46 replied to The Avenger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While the fumble was definitely fortuitous, I personally wouldn't call it a fluke. Zimmer clearly was going to punch the ball out (obviously doesn't always work). Plus I do think Josh's shoulder injury and the crazy weather played a part in that game (to be fair Cam's prior illness probably did too). I agree overall though. I can see a split, but being swept by NE would honestly shock me (barring injuries).
