  1. Two thoughts: 1) Funny that of all places this item was found in USA today. I guess the WNY-based publications are all busy writing their variations of the "This Byrd Flies High" story. 2) I've never seen an organization so obsessed with switching players from their natural positions. Is this just a symptom of the front office's inability to stock the roster with talent - i.e., the coaches desperately trying to make lemonaid out of the lemons they're given by the front office?
  2. The premise of the poll question is that there is some optional scenario available under which the Bills finish with a winning record. It's like asking, "would you rather have the sun go down tonight or not"?
  3. Did he also say he was looking to work for a terrible front office?
  4. Correct. Firing Jauron is putting a bandaid on an amputation.
  5. I thought I heard on the postgame show that Ralph said the they are trying for a Superbowl to reward the fans, the fans deserve it, something to that effect. We need to hear from someone who was there.
  6. Nice plan but it's not in chronological order. You need to accomplish #8 before #1 can happen. Unless you revamp the organization, you will not even attract quality HC candidates.
  7. THIS IS THE POST OF THE DAY FOLKS. Yes Jauron is a poor head coach and deserves to go, but the real problems are much more systemic and deeply rooted than who is the head coach. Any head coach who opts into this organization as its currently structured, is one who has no clout and who is just happy to BE a head coach. Any HC candidate that has real chops in the league will steer clear of Buffalo.
  8. The man is a pig who trashes the country that has made him fat.
  9. I guess you are not watching the Bills offense.
  10. It was almost like Jauron gave the offensive reigns over to AVP at the end of camp and, the new set of eyes totally scrapped what was in place. The lack of leadership there is mind boggling.
  11. That is correct. The funny thing is, if you look at Maybin's body langauage, he acts like he still thinks he's good!
  12. Thanks again Marv!
  13. Well, Obama's administration is out these days trying to delegitimize Fox News and trying to tell the press how to cover politics - there's lots of free speech abridgement going on these days. If our democracy's leader can limit free speech, why get riled up when Daniel Snyder tries to do the same over a football team?
  14. ^^^^^^^^ BEST AND MOST CONCISE ANALYSIS I'VE SEEN.
  15. Bills: Just good enough to slide by, year after year, despite reading at third-grade level.
  16. If this is truly your rooting interest come Sunday, you SHOULD wear that bag on your head.
  17. I believe a casual observer CAN pick up signs about a player's level of effort. And I don't see consistent signs of effort on TO's part. For me personally, I'd feel more reassured that TO was giving full effort if I saw him just once, for example, congratulate a teammate who made a good play. I don't think I've seen this yet, expect for when TO might have congratulated TE after Edwards threw him a TD pass. But that doesn't count because he was involved in the play. Granted, TO has always been a me-first guy and congratulating a teammate is of course not the same as effort, but it does indicate where a guy's head is at.
  18. I need to look at that play again but I actually thought Meredith popped up first, before Wood.
  19. Agree. As for the defense, once they got Carolina in an obvious passing mode they were able to get more pressure on Delhomme than I would have expected.
  20. Isn't it obvious that Donte's the better player and HAS to be on the field? In my mind the best lineup we can put out there is Whitner (by a nose over Scott) at SS and Byrd at FS.
  21. His two blocked kicks yesterday were statistically impressive, but anyone who watched that game could see that Tennessee's kicker stinks.
  22. Jauron: he'd be funny if he wasn't so pathetic.
  23. He is spot on - and I CONGRATULATE HIM. While he didn't intend to light a fire under our offensive coaching staff, he just might have. And that's not a bad thing.
  24. You are right about that, but I never pass by Mighty when I'm in town. It's that special "Buffalo Mexican" that you just can't get down here.
