Listen, things like turnovers, lack of discipline, constant stupid penalties, etc, ARE a reflection of poor coaching. Period. No one is giving the players a complete pass, but when it’s THE ENTIRE TEAM looking like crap, constantly making mistakes, and putting up L after L, ignoring the coaching aspect of it is mindblowingly off-base. Buh bye, Dorsey.

And when players continuously fail to execute, you need to examine the people in charge of teaching them how to execute. It all starts up top. When teams lose, coaches are held accountable. This isn’t unique to Buffalo. This is Coach Clappy’s last ditch effort to save his own job. I doubt it works, but Dorsey is primarily to blame for Dorsey being canned.

Anyone still wanting to hang onto this staff needs to seriously get it together.

I’m not saying never run, but IMO, when our offense was at its best we were almost always in the Shotgun and JA was slinging the ball around and taking off when it was there. I think when Daboll left there was too much of an emphasis placed on JA not running anymore and needing a RB to be established, especially this past offseason. JA doesn’t run like he used to (until the 4th quarter of last night). That’s such a huge part of his game. McDermott is a defensive guy. I’ve always believed that a defensive-minded coach needs and established OC (and vice versa for an offensive-minded coach). Giving total control of half of the team to a guy with ZERO coordinator experience was such a colossal mistake. And IMO, it’s an unforgivable mistake. We certainly need a different OC, and I also think we need to move on from our HC.

That’s game. Rookie mistake there Kincaid. Still super excited about what he can become. Hopefully with a fresh OC.

I hope the plane leaves with him still on the tarmac.
