A compensatory 3rd round pick is virtually the same as a 4th round pick. If the Bears got a mid round #2 for Roquan, I suspect the Bills could have received something slightly less for Edmunds. I know hindsight is 20/20, but looking back, the right move would have been to trade Edmunds while on his 5th year option and used that $12.5M elsewhere.

My guess is this is Morse’s last year. $3M dead cap but save $8M in 2023-2024. Minimal savings for this season.

All of our away games minus Washington and Patriots are against quality opponents. Our home games are…not so much.

But don’t you agree that your assessment is very short sighted? You select players based on standout plays and then assess based on ~3 games? In my opinion, your plan of assessment to include the collection of data (plays/stats), analysis/processing of that data (stats/data), and the exploitation of the data is all a very flawed.

Thanks for the explanation. Sounds like a better assessment than what most members like @NewEra perform (exclusively highlight videos) but still not nearly as comprehensive as the analysis by sports reporters who do this for a living. So why should your assessment be regarded as reliable or in line with the professionals? Where’s the added value?

#2 by what metric? They aren’t top 2 in any statistical category. They scored 10 points in their final playoff game. I don’t care about regular season stats , if you suck in the playoffs…you suck period!

Miami Game - After going up 14-0 in the 1st quarter: FG, INT, Punt, INT, FG, Fumble 6, Punt, Punt (8 straight possessions where the offense generated a net -1 point loss) before finishing TD, TD, Punt, Punt. This was a common theme nearly every game (except Cinci where they throttled us), go up by multiple scores and then crawl into a shell and let them back into the game. With the elite tools at his disposal our OC sucked and we better hope it’s because he is a rookie.

Knox lacked production for the same reason our RB’s and Rookie WR did. The OC is highly inexperienced and non creative. He. Was given the keys to a Ferrari and turned it into a mustang. Hopefully year 2 is different but not holding my breath after watching the offense crap the bed in both playoff games.
