I believe there are three veteran corners on the market that will be better than any corner at 25 this year. Not included the bradberry situation which he is another option.

This year‘s quarterback class looks abysmal. 20 out of 37 players we drafted performed at the senior bowl it is really important to us. in my personal opinion it is the best tape you can look at because some systems hide players deficiencies really well and every single player on the field there that you are competing against is of a certain level. Watson dominated the receivers and DBs that you are clamoring for in the later rounds.

I agree I don’t think you should take a running back in the first or second and unless you believe he is a elite day one starting running back, even being a very good running back doesn’t cut it. My gut feeling is that we draft a linebacker in one of the first two rounds trade Edmonds and use that extra money to sign Gilmore.

I don’t like Walker but he was mocked to us on nfl.com a couple days ago in the first round. Anderson has a perfect RAS score more of a chance then you think. Freak athletes go early.

If we took Booth over Christian Watson I will be pissed but I would understand would love walker in the second though. Christian Watson and Kenneth Walker would be an ideal scenario.

I am honestly starting to feel like he won’t be there at 25 anymore. There will be a major run wide receivers starting between 17-24. Burks is the only other wide receiver I think it’s worth taking in the first. I think the majority of the best wide receivers in this class will not be drafted in the first round.

Edmunds has a market he has made it to a pro bowl he is still under 25 he has started a lot of games he is an above average player. We can’t pay everybody like some people on this board think we can. You can manipulate the cap but sooner or later you just have to get cheaper contracts. A first round linebacker in theory should play as good as Edmunds day one. More money to sign Gilmore he is a better player that Edmonds.

I think he is a top 10 talent based on pure physical ability.But he played multiple different positions so he didn’t master one. I think a good senior bowl week performance holds more weight for a small school stands out. But because of the physical ability I believe he will get selected in the second maybe even the late first.

Troy Anderson won’t make it out of round 2 with a perfect RAS score. He was also a senior bowl week stand out. He ran a 4.43 and has no red flags as far as I have heard.

yes probably. we don’t value cornerback like most on this board think we do and it shows in the draft capital that we have spend on it. I trust certain insiders with the Intel that they share. That’s true.The insiders know what positions they are targeting. I would say about 80% of the time I know who the bills were going to pick in the first round Just by listening to insiders. I have no clue this year. But it will be a premium position that means mlb cb wr ot s. We are good on pass rushers for the moment.

We are being mocked that in the first round because that’s what insiders are hearing. If we do draft a LB in the first or second round Edmunds will be traded he does have value. The capspace like the OP was alluding to could open up money for Gilmore. Gilmore>Edmonds.

We are being mocked Linebackers by people you would consider to have inside information in the first round.

It’s now or never. We either trade him or lose him for nothing. He is not as bad as people try to make him out to be he will probably get between 10 to 15 million with his new contract if he plays the way he played last year he has made it to a pro bowl.

Edmunds replacement will probably be drafted in the first round and Edmunds will probably be traded on draft day. We can’t keep everybody. We use premium picks on premium positions and middle linebacker is a premium position to us. Brace for impact. Edmunds will more than likely be traded on draft day. And it might be Troy Anderson or Quay Walker at 25

Ford gets paid too much for the staff not to believe in him. he would be cut or restructured by now. Brown was selected in the third round you have to bet on his improvement. Getting a day one top ten running back or Another quality speed receiver is worth more to us in the first two rounds. but we will probably draft a linebacker in the first round and trade Edmonds on draft day.

You lost me here. I just don’t see the need to invest in Oline early. we have young olinemen drafted early that you have too bet on there improvement. The RB group as well. There is a reason we are bringing highly rated RBs in we are looking at them early too.

I just don’t see it…We have good tackles Mitch Morses just resigned Bates resigned. I understand we need a swing tackle. But is a guard worth taking in the first two rounds? I think Edmunds replacement gets drafted in the first 2 round. Our GM has used premium picks on premium positions I just don’t see the need. Coby Ford was supposed to be a tackle. You are contradicting yourself. If you are in the top half of playmaker talent with a top three quarterback you’re not even discussing receiver in the first two rounds but we are. Bringing top end WRs in for visits. There is a reason Crowder sat in the free-agent market so long and McKenzie did too…didn’t get paid much either. Gabe Davis has never won a starting job. Elijah Moore Devonte Parker and Jaylen Waddle are all considered better wide receivers and those are the number twos just in our division. We have a top 10 tight end situation and are running back situation it’s somewhere in the 20s.

How much capital do we need to invest in the trenches? I feel like we have invested a ton in the last two years and it has paid dividends. I don’t feel like we are in the top half of the league in terms of overall playmaker talent. We need more speed.

I never liked Zack Moss even going through the draft process.
