I feel like we are two above average pass rushers away from having a dominant defense. The kind that can carry you to the playoffs. Our secondary have plenty of depth and talent. Lbs have two very good starters and we play nickel 80% time. Our dline lacks pass rush. I understand this but the question is to the beat of your knowledge how many guys projected elite talent can come in day 1 and make a impact. I know there are pro bowlers from ever round, but you cant expect 10 draft picks to make the roster with the depth that we have.

I read somewhere that the browns only have 15 players with 1st round grades i dont if they were blowing smoke because of OBJ trade but i really feel we have alot of depth and in postion to move up for and second elite talent. But when do the elite players stop in the first any projections? Hard info to find.

Just because zay didn’t perform up to standards he will get a second chase because we traded up to get him and he is a 2nd rder I would hate mike Wallace over 30 how much speed is left? Get me a 3rd round 4.4 or under type of guy we have plenty of experience at wr and streater is a sub 4.4 guy as well don’t forget about him.

There are a few possibilities I like but the reality is we invested a lot already in that group if he’s willing to come on for near vet min our staff is rolling with this group which had three rookies...

I think our best option is to trade one of those first so we can get in the running for a franchise quarterback again if we lose out we’re going to need ammo again to try if we fail I think the writing is on the wall is going to cost us three first two this year and our one next year and possibly a little extra

I strongly disagree If you do your research about the draft most teams have a range or a list of prospects that they consider blue-chip kind of like college somebody who they think is a franchise player these players usually go in the top 10 so even though we can offer more picks we may not be able to offer them that bona fide stud that they want...multi year projected pro bowler That can come in and start day one

A prospect that they believe is going to be a franchise player that’s why the coach traded with the Jets because at six there is still a franchise prospect available not at 12 most people believe the Jets offered more that’s not the case they could just offer a blue-chip prospect

The reason we lost out on the number three pick was because we couldn’t offer a blue-chip prospect right now not because we didn’t offer more pick value...Trust me the Colts front office was haggling all day with the bills for leverage but we couldn’t offer a franchise prospect at 12 blue chip prospects run out at about 7-9... if the Browns or Giants value blue Chip prospects more than pic value The Broncos have a leg up on us...we don’t get to move up
