Gotta love the misguided Peterman negativity on here....
Has anyone ever paid attention to what type of draft compensation you can get for even a competent qb?? The MOST important thing that everyone needs to be rooting for this year is for Peterman to woo over the other GMs.
Not for a guy like him though. Just dont see it. He was gone if AJM showed anything.

Im with ya. Football is football. Maybe Peterman plays good...maybe Allen plays a little this year. Im also excited to see Edmunds and Harrison play this year. And what Daboll can do for the offense. Good or bad its football its a game..enjoy as much as you can.
I totally understand the disappointment. Im not all that excited NP is our starting QB. I was just saying your reason that NP failing makes a goid storyline was lame.
I agree its lame. Guess I am being sarcastic in that I would prefer to see NP throw 5 picks than watch us lose 21-3 every week with him going 15-25 for 175 yds.

It is sad. I am really disappointed to see NP as the starting QB. I feel let down by this FO to go from a playoff team to one with NP that is a consensus worst team in the league. I would rather have had another year of Tyrod and a chance to compete while turning the reigns over to Allen. Just my opinion.

I can't say that I'm excited about the games so much, but I am curious of a few things. Like how many pick 6's Peterman will throw before Allen gets to play. Then, how many games until the fan base realizes Allen is not franchise material.
I'm excited to see what the draft order will be in 2019.
I guess one other curiosity is, will this be the year McCoy hits the wall?
Sadly I am kind of rooting for Peterman to throw a bunch of picks in the opener. Just for the story line and speed up the process of Allen getting in there. I would not feel that way if I felt this team had a shot. But Peterman is probably the worst QB in a long list I have seen the Bills put out there.

They know nothing and always pick us to be bad. They have done it for like 18 straight years and never get it right. Wait, we made the playoffs only once during that time? Ummmm

Who we picking at #1?

Where does this season rank in terms of excitement? What players are you excited to see?
For me what started off as high, whether it is seeing Allen as the QB or what AJM can do, is now pretty low. I still think the team could surprise and wind up 7-9 or 808 just based on parity in the NFL. But there is not much "wow" factor on this team. Peterman is the least talented and exciting QB starting in the NFL. McCoy is only getting older and playing with a worse OL. Our WR's are awful and have no one that has star power. On Defense I am hopeful they look better than in preseason. But they are not going to be feared if they cant get to the QB. The DB's look worse. LB's look worse. Just hard to get excited about the D.
Even in bad years there is usually something to look forward to. Just not seeing it this year. Except maybe waiting for Allen to take the field.

no...both qb's are going to have it tough as it is......they need all the reps
You can carry three QB's. Webb has much more upside than Peterman in my eyes.

Still ahead of Peterman. If your gonna use this guys analysis. So why not make the swap. He also has P Lynch ahead of Prescott and Wentz.

I drop a TE and add Webb. Even if only for a few weeks.
Just now, JPP said:Obviously the Bills are going with 2 QB's.....why on earth do you think Davis Webb would be better than Mccarron? If we were going to have 3 QB's we would of just kept Mccarron.....now we got rid of him we also get to eat up 4 million on the cap this season (i believe)....its redundant to now get another QB.....IMO......
Better than AJM and NP. in my opinion.

I think we have 2 QBs and an OC who are going to try and push the ball down the field through the air, unlike the past few years which resulted in stacked boxes and became easier to gameplan against as time went on.
No one is scared of Peterman or our WR's. Dont count on this.

AJ's spectacular comeback vs the Da Bears may have convinced them that Mack was a necessity and caused them to up their offer, leapfrogging the Bills. McDermot should have put in Logan Thomas for Q4.
Crack is whack. Just say NO.

Bills gonna keep two punters...

I have no idea how you drew that conclusion from what I wrote
Was not saying you - more the general mindset on the board. Especially when people talk about Tyrod.

Maybe it says more about coaching...

Yep.
That's more or less my point: good enough to play safe football and make a big play here or there is often sufficient to allow a team to sneak into the playoffs as a WC.
Funny how that is made out to be such a negative thing. Guess 17 years of no playoffs is better. You need to build a winning culture. That starts with winning.
-
So many said AJM is better than Tyrod.
Sorry for bringing it up.
-
Nothing like it. I would say Tyrod vs anyone is more like Flutie and Johnson. The Bills won with Flutie but felt he was limited. So they went another direction. Tyrod had moe time than Flutie which is why the "fun" has warn off. Flutie at QB and going 8-8 for multiple years and it would have been the same.

Bills win 75-0 or lose 75-0...it means very very little. Preseason game and the 4th one at that.
-
Let Ducasse play QB so he can see what it feels like when your OL sucks

What QB rotation do you expect or want to see? What QB's sit if any?
I dont think we approach it like most teams and rest our "starter". This team does not have a clear cut starter. I say throw them all out there and let them fight for it. I would not mind seeing them rotating each drive.
Season Excitement?

I hope Allen has a higher football IQ than Peterman.
