Kelsay or Denney really really should be cut now, I still think Schobel sucks and should be cut as well, but that has no chance. Hardy should be gone but that would be too much of an embarassment for the front office.
For this team to not be practicing against ta 3/4 constantly after last years record is completely ridiculous. The only reason I can possibly fathom is that they want to see who is going to make it to the roster in our 4/3....but that is ridiculous. Our starters (and coaches) clearly need work v the 3/4.
The reality is that there would be no noticeable difference between Schobel Kelsey and Denny and their backups. Frankly I would be inclined to cut all three.
I started this and that would be fine with that so long as doesn't get edwards killed. i do think we need to get as many games possible with the starting unit and I simply think (if healthy) Butler would out play him and I think that Bell will outplay Butler at RT. I'm not saying Liver-Tree is a bust, but he isn't ready and it will have to be incredible improvement before opening day. I don't see that happening in 30 days. I hope I am wrong.
I don't think the line was that bad against a good d line. livitree was horrible. get lower for god's sake? maybe butler to guard bell to right tackle and Levitree to the bench?
yep interior should be decent. last year it sucked horrible and we still rand about 2/3rds of our run plays between teh guards. langston will not be a super star but still outperformed peters in limited action
Did you ever notice that we could never , ever, run up the middle last year? Do you think lousy center and guard play might have had something to do with that?
My wish list:
Something Resembling a DE.
A Center who knows when the play is from the shotgun.
A safety who can make plays on the ball as opposed to chip shots when someone else is already making tackle.
A reciver besides Josh reed who can --i know I am asking alot--get open.
A new owner willing to pay for a cower, a chuckie etc.
