    McDermotts soft zone is okay against teams who are playing conservatively offensively and trying to avoid turnovers. When teams get aggressive needing a score the defense has tons of holes. That’s why he almost always gives up the late scores.

    He coaches not to lose yet loses nearly every close game. You’d think at some point that would click with him and he’d change. But it’s his nature. Those guys never win Super Bowls.

    No doubt the Bills will try to run this back next year. And the die hards will have renewed hope. The Bills will never win a meaningful game with this coward as coach.

    Guys the Bills brought in off the street in the middle of the week had more of an impact on the game than high paid guys like Miller and Oliver.

    This off-season has to be a complete house cleaning. From incompetent coaches, players, to possibly even management. The only guy that matters is Allen. The rest are replaceable and many need to be. The team as it’s built reached its peak 2 years ago.

    Should have dumped every bloated contract they could have at trade deadline. This team going nowhere.

    You need all the ammunition you can get to move around for players you like in draft and in season. Personally I’d at least test the waters in what I could get for players like Dawkins, Poyer, Miller etc. This is not a contending football team. It’s just not.

    Oh I agree that they probably are. Just don’t think that will be for the best in the future.

    I’d prefer they try to unload some unwanted contracts if humanly possible and acquire some picks. It’s not happening for the Bills this year. Much of it due to injury, but they’ve looked like a contending type team in exactly one game this year. It’s tough to swallow, but best for the organization.

    We got a game changer in Kincaid. That alone gives it a B+ for me. I’m lukewarm on the Torrence pick but do like the Williams pick. I have doubts any of the others make the team.

    Don’t think he makes the team but we’ll see. Would have preferred line help. First true miss for me.

    I’m really surprised Darius Rush is still available. He can play. Medical?

    I agree. Isn’t Luke Wypler still available? If so I think he’s a much better prospect.

    I know. I just think he’s purely a guard in the NFL.And that’s fine if he’s good there for you for 10 years. I don’t dislike the Torrence pick just that Saldiveri intrigued me when watching him move. Just an opinion.

    Granted it was from limited looks I had at him. But his footwork looked better to me and some position versatility. I think Saldiveri could play tackle in the NFL in a pinch. Torrence I don’t think can.

    My first hot take of the day. I like Saldiveri better than I did Torrence.

    Ultimately we got some speed and sure tackling at the second level of the defense. It was a little early and I think one of the corners provided better value, but the guy does make plays.

    He’s better than Bernard and I didn’t hate the Bernard pick. The game has changed. These guys have to cover a ton of ground now. I think he’s the starter opposite Milano next year.

    Williams had great production at Tulane. I would have preferred Ringo but the fit is there.

    Think it’s early for him but Williams is probably it our starting lb next year.
