    Going into week 17 bills were ahead of Cincinnati in the standings. The chiefs were not ahead of us. It's completely different. If Cincinnati wanted the 2 seed they should have done better in their first 15 games.

    If the NFL is willing to decide home field with a coin flip, I am surprised they didn't just decide a winner of our game with a coin flip, at least for seeding purposes. Would have been so much cleaner.

    I'm not worried about HFA and the neutral site thing. I think there is a very good chance the chargers with Bosa slater Williams and Allen beat the chiefs, and then we host them in the championship. Not getting the bye sucks. But we should destroy whoever we play and hopefully come out with no injuries.

    No, there is no situation where bills and Cinci would play at a neutral site. See my prior post.

    There is no neutral site for bills Cinci. The proposal only applies to teams that played a different number of games. If Bills Cinci are 2 3, it's impossible for them to meet in the AFCCG. If bills get the 1 seed and it's bills Cinci in the AFCCG, game is in Buffalo

    This is a crazy take, IMO. The bye is significantly more valuable. It's not even remotely close.

    That's going way too far. The bye week is what is important. It's 10000x more valuable than home field advantage. Fixing that problem is enough. No solution is going to be perfect.

    Adding an 8th playoff team and either giving two teams a bye or no teams a bye is incredibly fair. I hope this is what they go with. Best possible resolution IMO.

    There is zero difference between the two seed and three seed when it comes to potentially hosting the AFCCG.....

    That is absolutely meaningless. We are undefeated at home and winless on the road because are home games have been early in the playoffs vs bad teams and are road games have been vs the chiefs. We didn't lose to Jacksonville or Houston because we were on the road. We lost because those bills teams were not that good and we're fringe playoff teams.

    Resting starters and avoiding additional injuries is infinitely more important than HFA in the divisional round. Who cares about playing in Cincinnati vs Buffalo. Plus, the Patriots suck. Our backups are capable of beating them. Like they beat Miami by 50 in the exact same situation a couple years ago.

    If this is true and chiefs win Saturday I am definitely resting starters vs the pats. The main advantage of the one seed is the bye week. Who cares about 2 vs 3 seed. This team plays fine on the road. Plus it sets us up to play the ravens in the wc round which is basically a guaranteed win.
