  1. Any Charlotte folks on the board? The Township Grille in Matthews has a pretty good Friday Fish Fry. Oh how I miss them back home...
  2. Then Don Beebe should be in the HOF because he has 2 touchdowns in Super Bowls. And I think Don Smith should be allowed to enter. He had a TD in the Bills first Super Bowl. Timmy Smith of the Redskins showed up BIG TIME at the Super Bowl, he's a shoo - in. Next Year's class should have Larry Brown and Dexter Jackson Super Bowl MVP's who showed UP in the BIG GAME.
  3. I bought a loaded 2005 Honda Odyssey last week. I fought buying one for a year and finally surrendered to my wife. Let me give you some advice to look for in buying one. 1. Get a DVD player - You can always get one at Wal Mart if you don't want to spent the money on a factory installed one. On road trips with little ones, this is a lifesaver 2. Automatic side doors - Try juggling two little ones and groceries at the same time. I laughed at this feature, but now I see why its useful. 3. Good Engine - enough said 4. Don't get roped into buying additional warranties 5. Fold down seats - My van seats 9, but the seats can be folded down in the back and middle. Saves a ton of space. You'll pay a bit more for the Odyssey but its worth every penny. Welcome to Fatherhood...
  4. Yards Gained in Super Bowl Most Yards Gained, Career 589 Jerry Rice, San Francisco-Oakland, 4 games 364 Lynn Swann, Pittsburgh, 4 games 323 Andre Reed, Buffalo, 4 games Did some mutter something silly about him not showing up?
  5. Try LABPUPS.com. Charlotte based company makes great natural dog food. I think they ship anywhere.
  6. Born and raised in Allegany, NY - a suburb of Olean (hahaha) Let's go Bona's!
  7. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 21, 2005 FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT: Rich Rubenstein On Track Marketing, Inc. For Frank Cicci Racing with Jim Kelly FRANK CICCI RACING WITH JIM KELLY/DOLLAR GENERALCORPORATION ANNOUNCE NASCAR BUSCH SERIES SPONSORSHIP PACT FOR 2005 MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA - Long-time NASCAR Busch Series car owner Frank Cicci announced today that Frank Cicci Racing with Jim Kelly has reached a sponsorship agreement with the Dollar General Corporation for the 2005 season. Veteran driver Randy LaJoie, the 1996 and 1997 NASCAR Busch Series champion, will pilot the #34 Dollar General Chevrolet Monte Carlo beginning with the Hershey’s Kisses 300, 2005 season opener at Daytona International Speedway on February 19. Polaroid Alkaline Batteries will be the first of several Dollar General marketing partners to support the company’s initial sports sponsorship project. “We have worked diligently the last two years to secure full-time sponsorship of our racing operation since I first announced a partnership with Jim Kelly,” Cicci said. ”Dollar General adds momentum to our efforts to again become a competitive force in the Busch Series”, he added. Partnering with recently enshrined National Football League Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, Frank Cicci Racing with Jim Kelly will operate out of its 12,000-square foot racing facility in the Mooresville Motorsports Park. John Bland will serve as crew chief. The familiar yellow and black colors of Dollar General stores and corporate logo will be featured on the Cicci/Kelly racing machines. Based in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, the Dollar General Corporation (www.dollargeneral.com) is a Fortune 500 discount retailer with 7,321 neighborhood stores as of December 31, 2004. Dollar General stores offer convenience and value to customers by offering consumable basic items that are frequently used and replenished. This includes food snacks, health and beauty products and cleaning supplies as well as a selection of basic apparel, house wares and seasonal items at everyday low prices. “The #34 Monte Carlo is a great way to bring the excitement of NASCAR racing to fans who shop our stores,” said Stonie O’Briant, Executive Vice President of Merchandising, Marketing and Strategic Planning. “We’re looking forward to a successful collaboration with Frank Cicci and Jim Kelly on the track and in our stores.” Considered one of the NASCAR Busch Series top owners, Cicci is returning to full-time status in 2005 after running a limited number of events over the last three seasons. Frank Cicci Racing has helped develop such notable drivers as Todd Bodine, Mike McLaughlin, Jimmy Spencer and LaJoie. FCR-prepared Busch Series cars have started 708 races and recorded 19 victories, 139 top five and 277 top10 finishes and earned 14 poles. Bodine and McLaughlin both finished in the top five in points twice. Kelly, who guided the Buffalo Bills to four straight NFL Super Bowl appearances from 1990 to 1993, is long-time NASCAR fan and has worked very hard alongside Cicci and his team’s marketing staff to secure this level of sponsorship. He is genuinely excited about the opportunity to represent Dollar General. “I am very excited and flattered that Dollar General and a number of their vendors have joined our team as sponsors”, Kelly said. “Teamwork is vital to achieving your goals, and I look forward to developing a strong, successful program that will benefit Dollar General and their suppliers both on and off the track.” The 43-year old LaJoie is a 15-time winner in Busch Series competition and brings a lot of experience to the Cicci/Kelly program. “I have always admired Frank Cicci and his contributions to our sport as an owner, so I am honored to have been selected to drive the car that will bring Frank Cicci Racing back to full-time competition,” LaJoie said.

  11. Sure - ask the New England Patriots. They have kicker who is marginal at best...
  12. Yes he did. I believe we won 44-34... I'll ask him to verify.
  13. Excellent question. I ponder that everytime I'm at Outback. Usually I do 10% - but it seems like a waste.
  14. Everyone, Thanks for the emails and posts. I shouldn't have lashed out, I'm still hurting from yesterday (I have Panther PSL's and they picked Sunday to have a bad game too). It's like dating the pretty girl who decides she wants to be just friends. That feeling sticks in your gut for a long time. My buddy just called me tonight to talk football. He said he feels sorry for me, but wants me to jump on the Steelers bandwagon. I told him it would be a cold day in hell, but keep sending me scoop from his co-worker. Peace!
  15. I have five - please email me and I'll invite you. Another great piece of software from Google.
  16. yep - I won't be posting any inside scoop again. Thanks for your post.
  17. Like I said - cut and pasted from his email. What do you expect from a Steelers fan?
  18. Don't have two names moron. What's the deal here? I have legit info I wanted to share with you guys and its open season. Geez!
  19. I'm not naming my source - sorry. But he has NO reason to lie and his coworker is good friends with TD. He became a Bills fan, living in Pittsburgh after TD was hired by the Bills. That's loyality in Steelertown
  20. What do you mean by answering myself? Why would I change my screen name?
  21. My buddy lives in Pittsburgh and is a HUGE Steelers fan. A guy who works for him is good friends with TD. I'm cutting and pasting is email and deleting his name to protect him. I found it interesting to say the least.
