Kaiir Elam is a liability any time he is on the field
Sandhill Mike replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Elam has the wheels... he's always right there when the receiver catches the ball. I guess they thought they could coach him up? Hopefully some experience and some of the vets can teach him a few things. Who's out there that the Bills can get? Do we need to hold open tryouts for DBs? -
Carrie Underwood cost Tony Romo a year. Maybe Kelce falls in love, gets dumped, has Swift write a grammy-winning album about how awful he is, and his play goes to sh!t.

When will this European games madness stop?!
Sandhill Mike replied to RichardLee's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think that's fair. Having followed those awesome years in the 90s and surviving the playoff drought and New England domination, I'm thrilled to have this team to pull for. The offense didn't show up until the game was all but over and we were still in it, even with the defense decimated by injuries. It used to be that McDermott gets blown out in losses, now the criticism is he loses close games. We've lost some games but won lots more than we've lost with McDermott... and we've been playoff favorites for the last few years. Having suffered through Brady's Pats and looking up at a deeper Chiefs roster, I think some fans compare and see anything less than doing what those teams did/do as failure. We won't be out of the playoffs by Halloween and for that, I'm happy. This team will make the playoffs and might win it all... just have to see how it plays out. We've got one of the best QBs in the game, lots of really good position players, and a very good defensive minded coach. Having to fight harder might make this team tougher and more dangerous. -
So what does the NFL do? Run an ad campaign showing them scripting games and the season. I'm sure Chiefs fans think those commercials are hilarious.

Wrap them all in bubble wrap before putting them on the plane! The injury bug has been vicious to us this year. I thought we were going to have invite lucky fans out of the stands for their chance to play in an NFL game.

He must think it's still the K-Gun days and we have Thurman back there. Even in the old days, we didn't run out of the shotgun like Dorsey does. We've got some power backs... let's use them when the sledding gets tough. -

Not every elite team wins the Super Bowl. Maybe this is a year the team gets hot at the end of the season, rides it in to the playoffs and goes all the way. It happens. -

There's a lot of football left in the season. We'll see what Beane can find to help patch up the roster, get back home, and get back to work. Injuries have been rough on us this year... but the injury fairy still has many gifts left to give the NFL as the schedule unfolds. Just have to put this in the rearview and get ready for the Giants. -

I don't think they'll win their division. They won this one, good for them. I hope we see them again. -

I wouldn't trade places with them. If we see them in the playoffs, they better bring these same refs and jet lag with them. -

The tougher the catch, the better Gabe is. Just don't hit him in the numbers. -

He thinks he's some kind of superstar. Didn't care for him when he was active, don't care for him now. -

I still get pissed thinking about that game. These refs have to be happy their team is in the driver's seat today. -

I don't know what they saw that warranted a first round pick. Head scratcher for sure. -

He opened his eyes on the ground and was hanging on to his tackle's ankle. Most enjoyable. -

Probably a little salty about being manhandled on the strip sack. I loved it! Here's hoping he gets more of it in the second half. -

Oh, no! I hope Milano is okay but he leaves some big shoes to fill. Man, Tre and Milano both gone for the year and we're just playing game five. -

I just hate Jaxonville and that overrated Prince Valium at QB. Wait, I hate Coach Head Visor too. And I HATE watching Zay Jones catch passes against us. That chump couldn't catch a cold when he played here.
