In the AFC, I agree. San Francisco and Philadelphia (when Hurts is in) have been scary as well. Playoffs will be interesting... Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, Jackson, Lawrence, Herbert... there are some really good QBs in the AFC. I expect some crazy games.

The Chefs squeaked out six divisional wins this year and everyone is scared to death to play them. They barely beat a bad Denver team last week. I remember the Jags putting up 300 yards rushing on Manning's Colts just before the playoffs started... they were getting destroyed the last few weeks of the season, and then played lights out in the playoffs. Hoping we can do the same. We don't have a Bob Sanders type coming back to stabilize our defense, but playing a tight game against the Patriots - and one of the best defensive coaches the league has ever seen - doesn't mean we're doomed. The Pats are playing for a playoff berth, they're not the Texans.

I think the elbow is bothering him. He would have had an easy touchdown to Beasley against Cincinnati but he sailed it just a bit. He's gotten so much better about touch passes since he started. I can't help feeling like his elbow has something to do with it.

In my opinion, the Bills need to learn to control the clock... I know the rules won't let them play a defensive game like the Giants did in Super Bowl XXV, but we have so many ways to get five yards a play. Running, short passes, force the defense up into the box and THEN go long once in a while... but try to nickel and dime teams to death and keep the ball for 40 minutes. That would help cover our ailing defense.

I admire the heart of these guys... we've got guys playing on one leg, with one arm. It's been one tough slog this year.

We've got Josh Allen... the Bills have a chance in any game they play with him under center.

I've never seen a year like this one (that I can remember) in terms of injuries. Our defense seems a shadow of the one we started the year with.

He looks like a guy that managed to work 8000 hours of Madden on his XBox into a head coaching gig. "It's all about the data."

How about Zay Jones with 3 TDs? It only took him five years to get over the yips.

Not related to this game but does anyone know if Hapless Bills Fan is alright? I haven't seen him post in a while, makes me wonder if he's alright.

I'd rather go up against our defense than the Jets'.

I thought the same thing! Even if he can't wrap up and tackle, at least he might be able to rush a throw.

It's not his tendency anyway, I agree, but I wonder if our patchwork secondary factors into it?

Plus Dallas really gets after the QB. If we could generate pressure consistently, it would help our ailing secondary but, man, coaches are trying to make chicken salad out of chicken sh!t back there.

She's not a bad sport... she's like Brady... it's just competitive spirit!

I'm a converted critic of Edmunds. He's been having what I thought was a great year... showing much improvement. He'd even had an interception if officiating didn't suck. I know our defense hasn't been what we expected but having to play scrubs all over the secondary can do that sort of thing.

Especially with the talent we have in the secondary right now. No pressure, no defense.

I'm wondering how so many of us made it through the late nineties and the drought that followed.

Going to work on my drinking. Tough Sunday but it's like they say... any given Sunday. Time to get to work and get ready for Cleveland. Peace out everyone.

He's just got to play with discipline. Take what the offense gives you and stop trying the sexy 40 yard throws when a throw to the backs will do. If they could start working the dink and dunk game, those big plays will be there without so much contest.
