That defense and everyone on it played lights out. I couldn't be more proud of those guys. -
So glad the Pats fans are here to educate us and tell us how we should admire Jones for playing that way. A lot of what I've heard has come off as defense lawyers protecting their client. Looking at the hit again from some other angles, I can see why they didn't eject but don't hand me any crap about Jones not trying to hurt Allen. I won't buy it and I base my judgement on what I saw and how the defender reacted... just my opinion. As for Pats fans and what they think - stop the presses! - these are the same folks that defended Gronkowski going WWE on Tre. Probably thought Wilfork was blocked into JPs knee, too, and that Rodney Harrison never hit anyone late. I can only assume that those that stop in here to "enlighten" us do it for the attention... probably get no replies to their insights in Patriot land.

Frustrating loss but hanging with you guys made it easier to take. Hope everyone has a pleasant evening and enjoys a good meal. Looking forward to next week! -

But his team is 3-1 and he's played a part in getting those wins. Just imagine what happens as he improves! When Daboll came over to him on the sideline after one of the picks, Josh looked too angry to even listen to him. I do believe that he can win plenty of games with this defense, he just needs to grow up a bit more. -

I do think he'll get better but he has to listen to the coaches and stop trying to win games like he's back at Wyoming. We saw that drive in the 3rd quarter where he got the ball out quickly, took what was there... they looked like a machine. He can do it, but I'm sure that competitive urge to be a hero has been too strong for him to overcome when under fire. The run for the sticks in the fourth quarter that got him knocked out was gutsy but too risky in the situation... and the bastards got him. We knew he was going to be a work in progress. He needs to stop trying to be Mahomes and just take what's there. Those heroic moments will find him and be better to him when he does. -

I've never been described as an optimist... but this is as good as I've felt about losing a game in a long time, especially to New England. The Pats can strut if they want but they know they dodged a bullet today. Mc-Frazier's defense is consistently giving their offense trouble. If we can get our offense to execute the game plan without so many mistakes... the future looks bright to me and we have a real reason to be think this is going to be a great season. -

Maybe that's why the Pats thought he was expendable. -

You're right... but I'm no longer willing to concede that anyone else in the NFL has a better defense than our Bills. -

I know, I know... the history is not good. I've just got a hunch that we're due. The gap hasn't been this close in a while and that's with their Hall of Fame, "greatest ever" QB. -

After having our best player be the punter for so long, it hurts to see it as one of our glaring weaknesses. In previous years, that 21 yard punt late in the game would have turned in to seven for the bad guys. As it was, I thought it was three for sure but another 3 and out spared us. The defense was insane and should give us all a reason to Billieve. They just shut Brady DOWN. -

For the first time in a while, I do think we've got enough talent to hang with them and beat them on any given day. The defense has gotten better and better against them and the offense just needs to execute. I don't think the Patriots or their obnoxious fans are going to want to see Buffalo on their schedule anymore. -

I wanted to see him shake hands with our players after the game but didn't see him stick around... that or they didn't show the dozen guys kicking the #@*! out of him just inside the tunnel. -
It's because you feel like you've seen this movie before. The Bills lose the first game respectably, even admirably... only to get killed in the rematch during a ho-hum season. BUT... I really do think it's different this time. This is the first season in a good while that I really do like our chances in the rematch, even if it is in New England. Josh was getting dialed in before the injury. Something tells me he would have had a comeback 4th quarter win if he had been in there, as bad as he was in the first half.

I'll bet his teammates will crowdfund it... $15K is cheap for a win in the NFL. -
