I’d rather have Daboll than Brady for the enhanced passing game/concepts alone. That said, I want someone fresh and completely new to the organization. Need as full a shakeup organizationally or schematically as we can get whilst keeping our GM. And…has to be on the offensive side. If you can’t trade for Shannahan or O’Connell, then go get me one of Kubiak, Udinski, Scheelhaase, or Webb (and yes, I know Webb played here).

I used to be a huge Beane fan. First few years, he was on it, and up until his tirade on the WGR guys post draft, I was usually willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Even though I’ve always despised his approach to receiver since acquiring Diggs (and certainly after). But the shine has completely come off for me this year. No doubt to me he should’ve been out along with McD. The politicking he’s done, sitting with Pegula during games and in his ear, likely undermining his supposed friend in McD doesn’t sit well with me. He threw his buddy under the bus to save his own ass. I get it. It’s business. A lucrative one at that. That said, you want it, you got it Beane. Prove me wrong and deliver a quality coach (with offensive background), nail personnel decisions, and win a championship then all will be forgiven. But your clock is ticking and you’re going to have to earn me back.

All class. No one ever questioned the quality of the man. While it didn’t work out, and I thought it was time to move in another direction, I thank you Coach for everything you did for our team and city! Good luck at your next stop (except when you lock horns with the Bills).

Beane lost me this year, but, if this is legit, which I’m highly skeptical it isn’t anything more than a CYA exercise, he can start by shedding three terrible contracts he doled out to Palmer, Bernard, and Samuel.
