  1. Holy ish. How do you guard him in hoops? Tire him out I guess.
  2. Bills are streaming Maddy Glab, Chris Brown, and EJ Manuel pre draft talk on the app right now. Not bad if you need your Bills fix.
  3. Agreed 100%. Eisen is good at whatever he’s on, so I’m sure he’ll do great with that Draft-a-Thon though.
  4. I think it’s a live stream event but not certain. https://relief.nfl.com Edit: Yep, looks like live stream event for Covid-19 relief donations.
  5. I hear ya. I’m normally locked on NFL network during the draft. Not a huge fan on ESPN these days. But outside of Rich Eisen, they sent their top draft guy (Jeremiah) over there, so that’s where I’ll be this year. Loved when Mayock was over there. Tough act to follow but Jeremiah is great in a different way. I do enjoy Kiper though.
  6. Weird seeing Jeremiah, Warner, and Irvin on ESPN Draft coverage. Kudos to them coming together on this. Even with no first rounder, God bless the NFL for giving us a live sporting event to watch.
  7. Thanks! Was wondering why he wasn’t out making the rounds like Kiper.
  8. All but the (yet another) shot at Josh, his analysis is fair on Beane. With that said, WTH has Les Snead ever done to warrant a top 10 ranking? Guy is the definition of mediocre. Guy is something like 68 and 66 all time as Rams GM. Sure, he’s hit on a few draft picks. Everyone is capable of nailing a few. But the guys roster building strategies are questionable at best. Edit: 64 and 63 all time as Rams GM. ?
  9. I love the color orange, but never been impressed with the Browns color scheme. It’s so bland, which I guess suits them. No matter how much Mayfield, Beckham, or Landry run their mouth.
  10. Bunch of blowhards. Stephen A’s inaccuracies and Kellerman’s ball washing aside, what compels Ryan Clark to say “I’m not a fan of Josh Allen”? Man these guys are dug in on their predraft bias. I don’t think anyone can watch Josh and say he’s not at least entertaining or a likable guy. “I don’t like him” seems like some petty playground ish.
  11. He’s been great, but that’s a lot of scratch for a RB. You can maybe argue timing of the deal with two years left on his old deal, but not sure what choice they had. Hoping it works out better for everyone involved (team and player) than some of these other top RB contracts.
  12. Ha! Chris Watson. Man, been a long time on that one. Where does Micah Hyde rank on the punt catchers list?
  13. The last few years notwithstanding, a painful reminder of another lost decade of Bills football. Hopefully, the next decade team is more Bills heavy.
  14. This is an outstanding piece of “gif-mans-ship” here. Very fine work.
  15. Fair points. I guess I also factor in that Norv Turner runs a pretty complex system, and he did alright digesting that. At least in year one. He didn’t light the world on fire, but had a decent season. No question, Fitz is a sharp guy (have you heard he went to Harvard? ?) and has a ton of experience in Chan’s offense which probably makes him a better fit in the short term. Especially, if we are looking at a truncated offseason.
  16. Care to explain? If I recall my timeline correctly, Buddy Nix was planning to draft him when Chan was here. But Cam was taken #1. If he was good enough for him then, I see no reason he wouldn’t work for him now.
  17. Not surprising. The more interesting question is who could you actually see Cam being willing to sit behind? That is, if backup jobs are all that’s available. Let’s face it, Cam is a unique individual. Outside of Brady, Brees, and maybe Rothlisberger, who else would he agree to sit behind? I don’t see many scenarios where he’d be willing to sit behind a starter he feels he’s better than. Personally, if he’s healthy, I think he would make the Dolphins a pretty dangerous team. At least until whatever QB they are likely to draft is ready to go. If that’s Tua then he can sit for the whole year until he’s healed and ready. He’s more talented than Fitz. Pats would also be an interesting choice, but they are pressed soundly against the cap from Brady’s parting gift. Maybe the Chargers too, but they seem committed to rolling with Tyrod and a rookie.
  18. I’m sorry, but for Christ sake, the guy laid it all out in a ridiculously long post with legit information from a reputably sourced article. But I guess that’s just fake news. Nothing but constant deflection around here. Reminds me of why I’ve never spent any time in the dark underbelly of TBD that is the PPP section. It’s clear this is just an extension of the Trump apologist zone. Don’t like the guy? Get out! Fine I’ll go, but first... The China problem is known. I agree, they F’d up by not being forthcoming and suppressing information from the rest of the world. A huge amount of blame is at their feet. Can’t trust them, and that’s always been the case. But based on their track record, don’t you think the situation warranted a little skepticism or intrigue until proven otherwise? Instead of blowing it off, didn’t the administration at least owe us that? At what point do we hold our #1 elected official accountable for his actions? Never? Ok great. Maybe you, but not me. Believe me, I’m not willing to exonerate states either. It’s mind boggling how some state leaders have reacted to this too, and they own some blame in how they’ve handled this. It’s certainly not 100% on Trump. But it’s incredible how devoted the Trump base is. The guy is seriously like Teflon. People just let the guy skate because he’s got our best interest at heart. Right. The guy doesn’t give a damn about you, me, or anyone in between. His inability to take accountability and accept blame is astounding. Just wait until Easter when this hoax is all over. Life will be back to normal and the guy will roll in a whole new cabinet of yes men and ego strokers. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. ? People are still so hung up on and upset at Obama nearly four years after the guy walked out of the White House, that they’ll literally look past every questionable or poor decision Trump makes and tout it as great as long as Obama didn’t do it, it undoes something he previously did, or it’s the opposite of what he would’ve done. Trump supporters tell everyone else to move on and move forward, but why can’t they? Completely stuck on Obama. And this is coming from someone who didn’t vote for Obama either time. It’s just irrational and misguided hatred. Let it go. I don’t even know why I bother because there’s no convincing anyone on here or otherwise to change their opinion. And that’s ok. I’m not asking you to. But can anyone at least acknowledge the President of this great nation shares some of the blame on how poorly this has gone so far? Is that really too much to ask? Feel like I’m living in the GD twilight zone. Btw - I know I’m just giving you all what you want with this post. Another log for the fire. I don’t care if anyone responds to this post, ignores it, or emoji rolls their eyes at it. I’m out of here after this post and won’t be back to comment further in this forum. It’s pointless to be here and clear my type of thinking isn’t welcome in these parts. I only bother coming to TBD to talk Bills. If you need me, you can find me on the main forum and roll your eyes at any misguided Bills take I have up there. Peace and love. I’ll show myself out.
  19. As you’ve said, tough to predict with all the different variables, but interesting thread. I just hope they don’t think they are done improving the offense. I see mock drafts with Chinn and Dugger and I’m scratching my head. They could be amazing, but outside of stopping the run sometimes defense hasn’t been much of a problem with McD. The same can’t be said for our offenses. Have to keep stacking talent there. About the only way defense makes sense to me with that top pick is edge rusher. Need more youth there. I don’t need some small school third or fourth safety with our top pick to come in and play big/buffalo nickel. That’s a specialized luxury to me that can be addressed next year in the draft.
  20. Yeah those factors make sense and certainly contribute. God bless folks that can commit to the NYC lifestyle, but that many people in a confined space and that reliant on public transport and other shared spaces seemed destined to struggle most with something like this. It’s early yet to say definitively, but hoping they are starting to get a handle on it to some degree with the news today that deaths have dipped slightly. Probably too early to say and this will be a critical week (like all the others).
  21. Likewise! Agreed. It’s funny you should mention California. I used to live out there for a few years and really enjoyed my time there. I was just mentioning to my wife how remarkable it is that California hasn’t been hit harder. Not to oversimplify and ignore the challenges it is having with it, but CA has several factors of a state you’d expect to be experiencing more problems with it than it is. It’s a mysterious an odd virus to be certain, but kudos to whatever you all have been doing out there to mitigate impact. Hope they can keep it up and everyone stays safe.
